Redstone American Grill - Marlton Ratings and Reviews
This is my third time dining with Redstone, and there is not a single complaint that comes to mind. I highly recommend the cornbread, jerk chicken fondue (perfect appetizer for 4, or perfect small meal for two), and you MUST get the chocolate cake (perfect sharing for 4, and get it to go if you’re stuffed!).
Redstone consistently serves fresh and delicious food. Their rotisserie chicken is out of this world! Service is always prompt and friendly. Seating is very comfortable. The restaurant is a little dark at dinner but that really is not a big deal. I have been here on many occasions for lunch, brunch, and dinner. All my meals here have been wonderfully prepared with excellent service.
Redstone is a quality experience. I often go out to restaurants in the echelon and am often left unsatisfied. The food is not super fancy, but it is always delicious. The rotisserie chicken is perfect every time. The Brussels sprouts were shockingly good. Just reliable, solid, delicious food.
Typical American crappy restaurant food, for people who have no idea what good food is - from people who have no idea how to cook. Chicken is overcooked, fish (branzino) is small and grossly overcooked - and I have an impression it was sitting cooked for some time. No redeeming qualities for a dinner which costs $86 for two, including 2 glasses of below-par wine. Infinitely better dinner can be prepared at home for the total expense of about $20, and it wouldn't be too complicated either.
Enjoy Sunday brunch but it is only offered on special holidays. Wish it were offered every Sunday, particularly all holidays such as Christmas Eve.
Sometimes I choose not to go to Redstone because it is always dark (dimly lit) inside and I just need a light, bright space to be in.
Food is good; however, I once ordered pulled pork and it was nothing more than chopped ham. Never ordered that again!
Okay, our family has lived in this area before Redstone existed. Fact: we have dined here over the years numerous times. It was my sons birthday and reserved a table for 7 by the fireplace. The lightbulb within the track lighting was brighter than the others and was more of a spotlight than track lighting which was aimed directly in my guests eyes. Was tiled it could not be dimmed. Second: luckily my daughter cuts the chicken nuggets in half for her son and the inside portion was pink! , as in uncooked! Mgr. came to apologize as if worms from undercooked chicken is an accident? Check came and was charged for 3 orders of chicken nuggets! Waitress demeanor surprised when I caught the error and feel she should have reviewed fr correction prior at most Mgr. should have corrected the raw chicken immediately. Anyway, Redstone has gone down in quality and service. Total tab $175.00 with 2 alcoholic bevs, 5 adults, 2 children. Atmosphere is more date night at the bar than quality birthday dinner. 5 years ago I would not given this review. Server also had moments of hiding and beverages were empty. Had to ask busboy to remove used plates. It’s a shame.
I seldom write a review that is negative but this place has gone completely down hill. I would not recommend this restaurant for any reason whatsoever. The food was pedestrian, and the service even worse. Don't waste your time and above all else don't waste your money. There are so many more options in the immediate area that serve better food, in a better atmosphere, with much better service.
