View Private Dining DetailsVisited Red Stone location in Eden Prairie for the first time for my wife's birthday. I used open table for the reservation and was able to update it twice as times closer to what I wanted became available. Easy to use, restaurant was ready for us when we arrived.
Food was amazing. We were four. We had Sea Bass specials x2, a filet and prime rib - all meat cooked to fabulous temps. We also enjoyed jumbo buffalo shrimp and ahi tuna appetizers - excellent and really liked we could pick how many shrimp we wanted - we went with two each and it was perfect.
Service was superb. Attentive but not disruptive to our conversation, fast but took time to explain the specials and listened to our order.
No room for dessert! It was a wonderful evening. Highly recommend for a nice evening out, especially for those occasions when you want a bit extra...
Think they do a great job with appetizers. Was really disappointed with the crusted halibut — it was over cooked and dry. Portions are almost too big. Would be much more appetizing if not quite so big. Had daily wine special — an Chilean Sauvignon Blanc and thought it quite nice and well-priced.
We were meeting family from out of town for lunch. The reservation request was for seating near front entrance (due to limited mobility of a family member). It is always so appreciated when a restaurant follows through with a special request! It was a lovely lunch with delicious food & beverage. Our server was fantastic (Anthony). My mom was not sure if she would enjoy their tangy coleslaw and he brought a sample over to the table to help her decide on her order. His special attention to her needs was so appreciated! We will definitely be back to enjoy the patio this summer! Thank you all so much for making our lunch special!
First year wedding anniversary, nothing was offered from restaurant as a dresser on the house. For the price it should have been included.
Excellent Lunch. Service was very good and food was excellent. Enjoyed very much. Reasonably priced.
Easy access to freeway; great customer service; great food, although my portion for salad was huge (not a bad thing); easy parking.
Fantastic service
Have always enjoy dining Redstone but on this occasion. We’re trying to be seated in the bar area by the receptionist and she seemed annoyed when we weren’t interested in sitting in that saying they were trying to spread around servers we want to sit in the main dining room area.
We were coming mainly to get their famous meatloaf and mashed potatoes which would’ve been great on a snowy winter Minnesota night. Then when we got the menu we found out they no longer have that item. We were very disappointed.
Opted for something light flatbread pizza and a salad that we’re OK but not fabulous. Was saddened by the experience because I’ve always enjoyed eating at Redstone and do quite a bit of dining out but not sure if I would come back soon after that experience.

The Chicken Salad and Filet Mignon were excellent. We will be back.
WE had a large group of 11 and our new server Anthony managed the group very well. I had asked for a quieter table when I booked on open table and they were ready and accommodated that request. Anthony suggested a sampler platter of the appetizers which I thought was a great idea.
Birthday dinner with friends! Excellent! Go early for no waiting!
Nice server. Good food. Comfortable booth seats!
Great food and AWESOME server (Valerie). Highly recommend the Sea Bass.
It was great as usual.
Our waiter Brandon (?) did an outstanding job! We were able to bring in our own dessert for a birthday. Only complaint, the steaks were a little over done, not worth sending back though
The foods were great. I felt foods are bit salty but if you tell them your taste they will do accordingly. I will recommmend to go there.
We waited 20 minutes past pur reservation to be seated on the edge of the bar. Bar patrons lined up just 2 feet from us and disrupted our anniversary dinner. Would not recommend this place from a special event
The food and the drinks were unique and excellent. The service was very good, but not great. The atmosphere was fun. We highly recommend the Beef Wellington, the bourbon old fashioned, and the special "Doli" martinis.
On the other hand, it's annoying that people who can afford a restaurant like Redstone can't afford a babysitter for their young kids for a few hours. It's even more annoying that the hostesses/management of an establishment like this don't have a policy and a designated area in the far corner for families that feel they need to bring their young kids with them. Every upscale restaurant should do this. If you bring young children to a restaurant like Redstone on a Friday/Saturday night, you should expect to be put at one of the 3 or 4 least desirable tables away from the other adults. This failure cost 1 star in the Service rating.
Great service but please bring back the grilled meatloaf.
Very nice experience except that the music was beyond Energetic - more like LOUD!
We went for Easter Brunch. Food was ok - typical buffet brunch fare. There wasn't anything stand-out delicious but nothing was bad either. Dessert selection was terrible and I waited forever for a really thin sliced of roast beef. Considering the $36/pp cost i expected more. It was very crowded and we had to wait 15 minutes for our table despite having a reservation then had to wait in long lines for the buffet tables (but our server was great). Again, it's a buffet brunch and I wasn't expecing anything earth shattering but for the price I did expect a better overall experience.
It was a great venue for Easter Brunch. The food was great. A large variety and plenty for all. The staff did a great job of replenishing the buffet.
Food was cold. Very crowded. Requested a table. Was placed at a booth right next to the buffet line...they did find a table for us. Buffet was not an example of the usual food at the restaurant and we were very disappointed. Not a good value for the cost. Preferred it better when we used to be able to order from the menu for holidays. Won’t go again for holidays.
We went to Redstone for Easter brunch. It was wonderful as usual. Very busy... perhaps servers could have used a little more help. They were pleasant and helpful. We would go again!
What an enjoyable Easter brunch!
Great service! The chef recognized us from the past few Easter’s. He brought over a goodie bag for the family which I though was amazing! Thank you Redstone!
Redstone is always delicious - we went for Easter Brunch for the first time this year and it was outstanding. Fantastic food, great service, and the Easter Bunny was the highlight for the kids. Love this restaurant!
We've always enjoyed coming to Redstone, but have decreased our visits in the last couple of years as the food and service has declined. First, we've been disappointed every time at the Minnetonka location since it's move, so we've decided not to go back. Now the EP location? It seems to happen to every restaurant in long term business but those special few. Our general consensus: Redstone seems to be on auto-pilot. The meat loaf on the menu is gone (a lovely comfort food); my Chop salad had only three pieces of steak vs. the 4-5 I've enjoyed in the past, and I had to request more dressing as it was very dry; my companion's Beef Wellington had less than a tablespoon of side gravy. Bread is no longer available for free, and what is available isn't nearly as nice as what was offered. The banana creme pie was mostly graham cracker, with little custard and two pieces of banana. Perhaps you spoiled us in the past; what we see if your need to increase your profits at the detriment of the dining experience.
Great dinner at Redstone Saturday night. Food and service were both great. Family had a good time. Thank you Redstone.
Everything was fantastic!! Nick was our server, food was great and service was awesome!
Great service and food!
Disappointing experience. One of our dinners was good, but second dinner was cold. By the time they replaced the food, other person was done eating & the replaced food still wasn’t warm. And nothing was done about it.
He bartenders awesome!
Outstanding food with great service. From appetizers to main course to dessert - one word describes it all - wow. The ambience is terrific - you feel like you are up north but elegant
We had a great time, service was great, food was great, large portions
We were advised to order the buffalo shrimp for an appetizer...loved it !! I choose the Chilean sea bass, my husband went for the rib eye... excellent! Our server was Tonya and she was s delight!
We received very good service Anthony, even though he was new. We meet as a small group once a quarter and always receive excellent service.
The Filet and Steak Salad were excellent. Redstone always has great food. My only complaint is the noise level can be pretty high at times.
Server was very knowledgeable about the menu and their specials; the overall atmosphere was relaxing; food was delicious and prepared well.
Looking forward to eating at Redstone again, and again!
The food took 90 minutes to get to our table. The marlin was overlooked to the point that it couldn’t be cut. I ordered a steak as a replacement, which was over salted. The manager came by once, never to be seen again. She was the rudest and least customer friendly person I have met in the hospitality industry. I frequent this restaurant (2x per week) and now will be going to Crave across the street for business and personal meals.
