Love Redstone! Great food , wonderful service! We go here once or twice a week for many years!
Service was good, food okay but a little greasy. Not the quality I expected. I don’t know why restaurants these days have the music up so loud!
Thoroughly enjoyed the buffalo shrimp, Prosciutto fig flat bread & chicken chopped salad. Great date night & atmosphere.
Food was fantastic! Love the ambiance. Had a reservation and was seated promptly.
Redstone was great! We went there for my birthday and it was perfect! Prices were average for a nice steakhouse, the atmosphere was welcoming and quiet and the service was wonderful! Definitely coming back here again!
I have never been disappointed at Redstone. The BEST!!
Gretchen was outstanding, and the food was delicious.
For as much as our meal was $150 for 4 people, I would expect more choices and better quality for what I had (flatbread). The bang bang cauliflower to start with was excellent. My husband said his jerk chicken was fairly good. Not enough vegetarian choices. Plus our waiter was hit or miss with checking on us and he talked way too fast for how noisy the restaurant was.
Disappointed that we had a 7pm reservation and were not seated till 7:35pm
We frequent this restaurant and have for years. Always use open table and always request a booth. This past dining experience, despite our booth request, we were seated at a four top table for just the two of us in the bar and next to the door to a private party.
Disappointed that I didn’t asked to be relocated or agree to wait.
More disappointed that I would even have needed to ask. Expected better from this establishment.
Not the best dining and service experience we’ve ever had at this Redstone.
Next time I will confirm my seating matches my request before accepting the table provided.
Our server rushed us through lunch, picking up our dishes before we were even done with some of our food. He came by every few minutes and took whatever dishes he could while others were still eating. We were out of the restaurant in less than an hour.
Food the last couple times hasn’t been that great.
The food lived up to what I've come to expect at Redstone. What was notably lacking was the typical standard of service. Specifically, a) the server mentioned that two corn bread wedges were $10, and a whole pan was $11, but when the bill came it was actually $14; b) she brought the corn bread immediately--which would've been great if we'd wanted it as an appetizer. I wish she'd have asked if we wanted it right away or with our meal; c) I had to initiate requests for beverages and refills and sometimes had to remind her of those requests; and d) I literally had to ask someone to find her so I could pay...several minutes after my friends had left the table and I was just sitting there waiting for her to reappear. She was very nice, just not on top of the details Redstone usually does so well. (BTW, the corn bread lives up to the hype.)
We eat here often and usually it’s good but not this time. My chicken sandwich was delicious but my husband had wanted prime rib and they were out so he ordered the ribeye and it was very tough. Also, my pineapple martini had a thick residue in it. Our server seemed disinterested when my husband complained and no effort was made to correct it.
While normally very good, this time the food was average at best. They also screwed up my wife’s order.
Longtime Redstone customer disappointed with the menu change and the quality of the food.
My wife got the Fondue and was disappointed to have the fruit removed and replaced with broken pieces of broccoli and tiny deep fried pieces of cauliflower. I got a filet. It was overdone, not even sure what the vegetable was - looked like I got the "core" of a cauliflower and it was soaked in oil. They advertised bacon parmesan fries, but got regular fries instead.
I've been going to Redstone for years, this is by far the worst food presentation. Not sure if we will try again
Every time I come to town for business we make it a point to eat at Redstone. Never disappoints.
Went for NYE - everything was great. Had the buffalo shrimp app - excellent. I had the sea bass, hubby had filet with brussel sprouts - both were awesome. Top that off with a hot chocolate chip cookie and ice cream dessert - fun evening. This restaurant can be very loud - we asked for a quieter spot not under the speakers - was seated in the atrium area which was perfect.
Great seafood with amazing wait staff!!
We have had better experiences at Redstone. Typically their Filet is delicious, but this time around we all (6 adults) ordered filet and it was inconsistently seasoned, and not cooked to the preparation requested. Service is always hit or miss. Ambiance is generally good, all be it noisy. I think the steaks are still the best in Eden Prairie, which is what keeps us coming back.
Our waitress(Kelsey) was simply outstanding in all respects, and the food was sublime. Our only gripe was that it was sometimes hard to hear one another because of the noise level.
Had lunch with my wife on New Years eve. Host seated us while describing their gift card promotion, and the wonderful lobster bisque which would not be on the menu after today. Server gave almost word for word the same spiel on the gift card promo and the lobster bisque. I ordered the lobster bisque and steak, my wife had their chicken. Server came back and told me lobster bisque was not available because they had a big party coming that evening and it was all reserved for them. I didn't want any potato so got onion strings with mushrooms that for a $7 up charge. Meal arrived without the onion strings, which came 10 minutes later with no apology or comment. Both steak and chicken were very ordinary. Check arrived with another gift card pitch. Overall very poor value ($93 for 2 lunch entrees, 2 house wines) disappointed with food quality, aggresive sales pitch and indifferent service.
We visited Redstone Eden Prairie for an office holiday dinner on a Monday night. The restaurant was not busy at all. The server was nearly non-existent. I took forever to get him back to the table once he took our orders. He brought out an order of Brussel sprouts with no serving spoon, we asked for one, he never brought one. We had to ask another server to get one. The food was not hot, and the prime rib was not at all tender. It was tough to cut even with a steak knife. We have been here before as a group and as a couple and enjoyed it. This night was a disaster primarily due to our server. But, the food was mediocre at best. Very disappointing when you are hosting a group of employees for what should have been a very nice night out.
When making the reservation I had specifically asked for a quiet location - old friends getting together to catch up, wanting to talk
*1st option was to squeeze 6 older aged adults into a booth directly under a speaker
*then had to wait while hostess found another location (this was at 11:00 am on a Sunday, the restaurant was rather empty)
*2nd option was a round table (better) under a speaker
*the 3rd time we asked if the sound could be turned down, it was - slightly
Not in a hurry to return
We attended Redstone American Grill to celebrate your 54th wedding anniversary. We both ordered the rotisserie chicken and were DELIGHTED with the meal. For dessert, we shared something called a chocolate trifle and enjoyed the most DECADENT dessert we have ever tasted. All in all, the evening was a PERFECT way to celebrate are anniversary. We will definitely be back and will be happy to recommend Redstone to all of our friends.
Good food at a nice place. The volume level was exceptionally loud. But then it was a Friday night at 7pm, so that is to be expected.
This was the first time we had a night out The food was good but severely overpriced. It was completely dead on a friday at 8. So we didnt feel like staying. I forgot my passport and they wouldn't accept my british driving license. I had to drive home to get my passport. And I am 41 and definitely look older than 21 so that was very irritating. The vegetarian options were very limited so I had to order two side dishes.
Christmas Eve dinner—excellent food and service
We had fabulous food and fabulous service!! Love the Christmas decorations too!
Food was good, music in dining area a little too loud and a little to dark.
Breakfast food was swimming in oil, it would have been better if not sooo much oil used.
Great server. Great food. Perfect setting to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday!
Excellent experience and food was delicious!
Matt was fantastic, like always and Cassie the manager made sure that we had a fantastic holiday dinner!!
Annual friday before christmas meal at eden prarie redstone. The best steak. Love the potstoes and the cookie desert
We had a party of four for dinner at 5:30 on a Saturday evening. It was the first time back for dinner in a couple of years. Overall, I would say that we were very disappointed. The service was spotty. It appeared that they were understaffed. Multiple drink orders were incorrect. The food as average, at best. Certainly not what I remembered from previous times there. My soup arrived after my entree and was just warm. My scallops were just ok. My date had a Caesar Salad and was also disappointed. Way too much dressing and soggy. The sound level was so high that conversation across the table was almost impossible.
Great service and awesome food! Would definitely go back.
Warm friendly environment we are always guaranteed a terrific time with the team at Redstone American Grill in Eden Prairie! Thank you Matt for the service, all the cooks for the wonderful food and Cassie for your warm welcome and last but not least our favorite server Zeek.
