Very impressed. Great atmosphere & extremely friendly staff. We were in a bit of s time clinch & they brought our food out super quick. It was excellent. I want to go back when I gave more time
Great service, food was delicious.
Always a great experience.
Brought my wife here on a date. The service wasn't awful, but we did wait quite a while after being shown to our table before the server took our drink order.
My wife had the Ravioli & Garlic Shrimp, and for $25, you'd think that it would at least be hot when it arrived at the table, and not "sort of warmish".
Had Chocolate Chess Pie for dessert. Seemed a lot like it came out of a pre-packaged box, and was microscopic compared to the apple pie (which I do actually recommend).
So yeah, not a great experience for a meal that cost $100. I can do that at the Keg and have a better meal every time.
I've eaten here three times, and each time have had a similar experience. Sometimes the service is good, and sometimes you get ignored. Sometimes the food is good, and sometimes no so much. I like the ambience, but not enough to come back after three "meh" dinners.
The steak was better than many high end Toronto steakhouses.
Pushy server who was trying to turn the table over as quick as possible. Food was very average. For the price, I expected better.
Our group had a wonderful time. Staff were attentive and took very good care of our group.
Appetizers were great. Our entrees came and steaks unfortunately weren't warm. Salmon was good. The staff immediately rectified the issue and sent out another order. Apple pie was delicious.
Service was okay, lettuce wraps are amazing but the dish I got was terrible (Red Curry Chicken) if it wasn't for the delicious apps I probably would not return.
Wait staff was very friendly. My wife and I were up stairs and really enjoyed the ambiance. Unfortunately, my steak was over cooked but they took care of that right away. Plan to go back.
Reds is consistently good. The food is always fresh and prepared excellently. Staff are friendly and accommodating and it has an upbeat and lively atmosphere. While the energy is fun, it can get loud and make it difficult to converse. While not at the high end for prices, neither is it economical. A lunch for two can run anywhere from $65 to $90 (without tip) depending on whether you add an alcoholic drink (or not). So unless you are independently wealthy or have an expense account, Reds will usually be a special occasion or on occasion....,,,but worth it when you do go.
Half price sparkling wine Tuesday nights. Quiet - good for convo, good service.
Didn't eat, so not sure about food rating.
Food was really good, service was terrible. Non energetic, somewhat rude when my girlfriend asked about the menu, cracked about a backside joke in bad taste... one server was rude, when he came back to fill up my water glass..felt like I was at a low end fast food joint type service.
We still come back because I know the food and overall service most days is fantastic. Whoever the staff were working upstairs close to the private dinning room should work on their servicing skills as a start..
My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine's Day. The overall experience was okay. The place had a relaxing atmosphere. The food was good but nothing special. We had the truffle fries and caesar salad for appetizer, butter chicken and quinoa with mushroom and other veggies for mains, and biscotti with cappuccino for dessert. The menu had very limited choices. Ask the servers for other options since not everything is disclosed in the menu.
The service has been unfortunately slow the last 2 times I have been at Reds
Red's is a favorite with my team. It is close by. Only draw back they have is a limited dessert menu.
We enjoyed a meal of different appetizers and lots of Prosecco. The Bangkok Nachos are incredible and definitely the highlight!
Loved the food, wine and service. Food arrived quickly and was almost perfect. Wine selection is amazing but a little pricey. Staff are very attentive and their recommendations on the wines are excellent. Great ambience for a dinner date.
Four of us went out to celebrate a birthday followed by a night at the Opera. We arrived early for some casual conversation and wine. We just ordered a variety of appetizers for meal and shared everything among the 4 of us. Every small plate we ordered was just as delicious as the previous one. We will definitely be returning to try other items on their menu as well as sample different wines!
We expected more from the place. Food was good but not perfect (steaks). For Friday night we thought would be more ambiance and crowded. By 12 already dead. Service was great but we wanted more since we saw it from outside the first time
We requested a quiet table for the business meeting and our request was met. Sometimes this doesn't happen at other restaurants and we appreciated the care taken in choosing the table at a busy lunch time.
Had a stake that I ordered medium rare and it came medium well. Not worth the effort to send it back as I didn't have time to wait for another one.
The check-in was crowded and had to wait 5 min just to ask at what table were my colleagues sited.
Found the venue to be a little too noisy for a business meeting.
You try to visit here once because here could be disappeared in near future. I will never recommend here to my friend.
The food was very good and the staff were exceptional.
wonderful restaurant, very good food, the chicken are nice (this is one of their specialties) I recommend the chicken and ribs, the apple pie wasn't any thing special, I
Food was outstanding...staff were excellent and very knowledgeable...responded quickly to questions.. .
The worst service ever. But the food and the cocktails were really good. We only ate small plates and starters but they were superb. About the cocktails I definitely recommend the La Fresca and the White Russian
It was New Years and most places force a fixed menu and seating. Reds allowed full menu options if you wanted; service was great and food was delicious! Thanks for making it a great way to bring in 2018!!
Went for New Year's Eve dinner reserved our table for 8:15pm showed up at 7:45pm and seated right away. The reastuant was not busy at all and all the staff was In a great mood. Our server gracy grace was fantastic helpful with the menu and very attentitive. The food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. There was 4 of us and only one compliant the vegan options are very lacking they need to add a few things to the menu for the up coming vegan and dairy free gluten free crowds.
First time here with a couple of friends for a Christmas lunch. Food, wine and service were all great and we will come back again.
We were over charged for our meals and when we spoke to a manager they only took off $3 not the full $10 difference, our drinks sat empty for at least 15 minutes and we were rushed out after our meal.
The food was good and hot and the pre-fix menu was a good value.
Excellent for a special date night. We had a wonderful meal. Food was great, and so was the service.
Fanstastic service!! Great choice to celebrate our Christmas work gathering!!
Enjoyed a nice birthday dinner with the wife here. The atmosphere was buzzing, the service was terrific and the food was incredible. Can't believe it took me this long to visit Reds. Definitely will be back....perhaps when it's warmer to take advantage of the patio.
Great food. Great ambience. Excellent friendly service.
Good service - good drinks selection
Quick lunch service and amazing food!!
Food and environment good. Service was okay - a bit rushed - but it was lunch hour.
