Great food and service. The server was well informed regarding the menu and easily gave us recommendations. This was the first dinner in a long time in which we didn’t feel rushed. Can’t wait to go back!!
We went for Father's Day brunch, and the menu had quite a selection. Some of us got breakfast food, while others got lunch food, but all of us left very, very happy.
Reds was good. The service was a little slow but we weren’t in a hurry. We sat outside, drank a little bit of wine and enjoyed our pizza. A very good value on Tuesday’s at Reds. Wine & Pizza at a good price. The wait staff was great. D & D
I had the prime rib which was done as ordered and the appetizers were very good. The wine list is a little limited.
Once again the meal was great! The service was a little slow. We seem to wait quite a while for our wine. We also waited quite a while for our salads and the pizza was delivered about 2 minutes after we got our salad.
We will go back but we have a few complaints
We had 11am reservations for 7 people on a Sunday morning. We ate the breakfast foods and can't say enough wonderful things about the experience! The food was delicious! Service was excellent! We were able to sit outside and it was beautiful - perfect weather. Great experience!
There is seating inside as well as outside. All can watch golfers since it's on a golf course. the prices are good as well as the food. The wine list is good, but not extensive and the wine are on display as you enter.
There is a wide variety on the menu. You can spend as little as $15 per person up to $45 plus drinks.
Food was excellent, had halibut, filet and prime ribs and we all enjoyed our choices!
Service was very slow.
Have been to Reds many times with with great food and Service, but this time was not one of them. Waitress took drinks and appetizer order along with our Granddaughters dinner order. Drinks came and she took our food order. 40 mintutes later our appetizer and food order came together minus our granddaughters food which came 5 minutes later. Overall just a bad experience from a restaurant we like.
Another very nice dinner at Reds. The staff was very courteous and the food was great: Thank You Reds!
Andrea waited on us and she had to be completely "over us" by the time we left because we were there from 5 until 11. But she was awesome. Just the right amount of attention- she didn't leave us stranded nor did she hover. Excellent.
Waitress seemed a bit disinterested in us. We wondered if it was because we were really enjoying appetizers, talking and drinks and in no hurry to leave. Date next guys are rare and we were in no hurry!
Great service provided by Mel. Great seat near the windows. Went on a Wednesday so it was happy hour all evening. Tried the majority of the appetizers. Everything was delicious.
Food was great as usual. There were two large groups so it got a little noisy and service was a little delayed. Great local eatery and I will be back.
Service was excellent and they substituted sides with no problem.
Love the apps! Had the calamari and the mushroom crostini. Scallop entrée special was good but very small portion. New York Strip was awesome! Loved the truffle fries. Kids ordered pizza and mac & cheese. The cheese in the macaroni was a little too grown up for most kids taste. Overall it was a nice experience. I would just choose something new next time for entrée.
It was great.
We have been to Reds before and have had good food. This time my husband and I both ordered fish, grouper and walleye. Neither of them were very good. My husband said his grouper was actually not good. My mother ordered a hamburger and it was overdone. That was really disappointing, since the hamburgers when they were in Rockford were amazing. I hope it isn't a continued trend in the food quality. We like the atmosphere and being able to make reservations.
My filet was dry and tasteless. The other costumers were a bit loud and obnoxious. I got a weird look when I asked what other drinks they offered besides beer and wine (pregnant). It definitely wasn't a place I would consider going back too. Ive had better service at applebees.
Excellent experience. Manager and chef both stopped by our table. We will definitely be there regularly. The prime rib and grouper were excellent. Great happy hour prices as well n
This place is great . Never had bad service or a bad meal . everything is perfect all the time.
Red's is easily one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious and well priced for the quality.
The only downside of our most recent trip is that we were seated near a large group (12+) which made it less of a quiet, romantic night out.
Food was excellent. Service was great. Server was so nice to take the time to write down for me the ingredients of one of the dishes that I liked so much. Pretty setting .
Couldn’t have been a better time for my birthday. The steaks were to perfection, the fish was great and several appetizers and desserts rounded out the meal from start to finish.
The ambiance was great and the server was wonderful-- friendly and helpful and funny. We enjoyed our drinks and the atmosphere but several of us found the food to be too heavily sauced and seasoned. The flavor of the actual fish became lost in the seasoning. I regret not asking for it to be served without the sauce. Otherwise, we had a nice evening; the environment is lovely, parking convenient, etc.
Took over 10 minutes to have a server greet us and get our drink order, we almost walked out. After that service was fine, food was good
They lost my open table reservation, so call and confirm. However, they reacted very quickly and got us sat at a high top in the bar. Zoe, our waitress, was absolutely awesome.
Wait staff was great, food absolutely outstanding.
We had reservations early at 4:30. No one was at the hostess stand and we waited a few minutes for someone to show up. My husband then started walking around trying to find someone no luck. We finally went into the bar and let the bartender know we had reservations and could she help us. We said we will eat in the bar and looked at all the empty tables and said we will just sit here. Was then told told many of these are reserved. I said we have reservations. Finally she got the ok from someone to allow us to sit at a table in the bar area. I explained I made the reservations through open table and would like for someone to check us in. I guess all staff are not trained on how to do that because during the end of our meal I got an email from open table stating we didn’t show up. I went to the hostess stand and explained how I asked the bartender/server to take care of this and I guess she may have tried but not successfully. Bottom line- Reds has a list of reservations for each evening so it is safe to assume the majority will show up, please have a staff member there to greet guests. There is an overwhelming amount of restaurants in Grand Rapids who are willing to take our $110.00 dollars and provide excellent service and food. Make us feel appreciated and leave with a desire to return which we don’t have.
I have never had a bad meal or bad service. Everything was great
Great food. The mushroom bruschetta was fantastic!!!!
Excellent service. Server was very timely, very knowledgeable of offerings, very pleasant. Thanks to Melissa for an enjoyable time.
That staff was great at coordinating between high school dance couples and all the other guests. It was busy and chaotic but the staff at Reds was accommodating and having fun with all the patrons. Smiling and having fun is contagious. Thanks so much.
REDS IS VERY GOOD FOR FOOD AND SERVICE. sOMETIMES GETS A LITTLE NOISY.
Reds was a great place for a good dinner. The service was quick and amazing. The waitress wasn’t to pushy. The food was absolutely amazing. Steak was done just perfect. Would recommend Reds for a great date.
Always a great meal and service
Were seated in the bar area. Quite loud but it was very crowded. But food was above average. Had an excellent waitress.
