Visited on Valentines weekend in a group of seven. Food was good, service was better.
I love this restaurant! We especially enjoyed the January steak deal. The food was amazing and the ambiance is relaxing and elegant. We came back and enjoyed it again, but it wasn't quite as good as our first visit. We'll be back for sure though!
Celebrating our anniversary, we were seated right next to the bar. If I wanted to dine in a sport bar, I would have went to one. Our server was also the bartender, so our service suffered when she got a rush. Our wine and water went unfilled for at least 10 minutes. The meal itself was okay. The salad was crispy and fresh. Steaks were seasoned nicely, but somewhat overcooked. If we had been seated near a window, even in the bar area it would have been better. The dining room looked nice. I spoke with the manager and he blamed our seating choice on the online reservation system. This was our second visit to Reds, I can’t say I can recommend them or I will ever return.
Spent Valentine’s Day at Reds with a group of friends. It was great.
Something was off at Reds tonight. This has become a consistent go to for my wife & me over the last couple of years. Typically, I would be giving all five stars. We are members at another local club yet still prefer the Reds menu. Tonight the food quality was substantially different (not great) than normal and the service was slow even though there was almost nobody else in the restaurant area.
We were there for Sunday brunch and I believe the bartender served us and she was top notch! She stopped at our table numerous of times, making sure everything was okay and asked if we needed anything. Prices were reasonable for a top notch service!

Ordered from the brunch menu on a Sunday and it was good a value for the money. The room was quiet and had a view the golf course - very pretty!
Nice venue, great food, great service. Server was very attentive, but all four of us felt like we were being rushed out thru the whole dinner.
food was very good, service was fine, we had reservations for 6 o'clock and we were able to order, get our food and done eating by 6:35.
We made our reservation on Open Table so we didn’t know until we showed up that they were not serving the regular menu. NOTHING was seasoned. Despite all this the service was great.
This was not a good experience. The staff at Reds indicated that making my reservation on line was a mistake. As a result we were seated at a poor location in the bar area - we were not able to move to the dining room. Food was overcooked and unimpressive. I had eaten at Reds in the past and expected better! Our server was the bright spot - she was excellent.

This was my third and last visit to Red at Thousand Oaks. While my first two visits were so so, this by far was the most lack luster. The Delmonico steak was far less than prime and full of gristle. The Prime Rib was just okay, I’ve had better. Both dinners were ordered with grilled Brussel sprouts, but grilled was in the name only, they were burned and charred, the charcoal taste was overwhelming . To top off the experience, I had a $100 gift card from my employer for Christmas and when paying for the meal, the management questioned its authenticity and implied that it was invalid. As my company is a MAJOR employer in West Michigan I found this to be the last straw. My wife and I frequent other Red Water Restaurants often, however this is our last visit to Reds at Thousand Oaks. They need serious enhancement in their customer service training and identification with major players in the West Michigan community.

We had an awesome server who was great at pacing out her check-ins and making sure water was filled and table was bussed throughout courses. Food was excellent- everyone enjoyed their various dishes from scallops to pasta to steak. Loved the view and ambiance! I definitely will come again.
As always food was great - no issues at all with service. First time for our dining guests and they loved it.
Food was good. My perch was a little soggy and should have been fried longer. Truffle fries were good. Prime rib was good as was the bread basket. The dining area is small and cramped which makes it s little too noisy.
2 burgers with wine for around $20. Great value. Good food!
We have always had good service and good food when we dined at Reds in this past. However, this last dining experience was a little off. For example, the waitress took a long time to get back to us to take our food order after bringing us our drinks. One of our guests ordered a salad to go with their dinner. Instead of bringing the salad first, then the main course later, everything was brought at once. One of the diners with us must of asked for a glass of ice at least four times before she received it. Lastly, we ordered dessert. The person delivered the dessert before our table had been cleared of your dinner plates. We had to tell him to please clear the table first before trying to put the desserts on the table. Basically the timing seemed to be off with the service all evening. We got the impression the waitress was new and possibly so was the person bring the food to the table. The waitress was very polite and we could tell she was trying. In the end, this experience will not keep us from coming back or recommending Reds, but we do feel that management should keep a closer eye on their newbies and help them out if they are struggling a little.
Table service was amazing especially given that there was only one waitress. There was no hostess so we waited a while to be seated. Food was very good.
We have been to Reds many times and has always been a good experience except last night. The service was absolutely horrible! We had to clear our own plates and glasses off the table because when dinner came there was no room. We had to go up to the bar and order our own drinks because the server never came back to our table. And the 15+ minute wait for a bottle of wine ( ordered Pinot Grigio and she came back and said we’re out of that how about a Pinot noir) I had to tell her I ordered a white wine and yes- they did have it...
Horrible service - our appetizer plate was left on the table the entire meal, had to ask for bread twice, waited way too long for our beer. On top of that it was terrible food- so bad that the Greek chicken wrap made me sick. I know this was it because my husband ate the other half the next day and he got sick as well. Won’t ever return.
Came in for Restarunt week. Was very pleased with our meal.
Everything was ok, but not exceptional. My husband wasn't impressed at all with his steak, but I enjoyed my meal.
Waited 15 minutes after being seated for server. Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for food.
Food was excellent. Service was poor. Willing to give this place another shot because the food was really good.
I would recommend Reds with conditions. Unfortunately Reds doesn’t read through Open Table reservations and therefore we had to “argue” for a table on the patio (which we had requested) and once we were given a table were told our party of 4 had to be out in 75 min.
Outstanding!! We always enjoy our meal at Reds. Will go again soon.

Outstanding ambiance, service and food. Our server Melissa, was top notch. She was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the menu, cocktails and wine selections. We had such an enjoyable evening!
