Nice place. Good food. Service was spotty at best. No very busy but still had hard time getting our servers attention.
Usually good food. Today I ordered fish and chips. First time Red's has disappointed. Way overcooked. Generally, a little pricey, but the ambience can't be beat.
The view is spectacular and the food was a great value for an Easter buffet! The menu items that others ordered looked really fresh and well prepared. The hot foods in the buffet were very good.
We waited over an hour for our 3 kids meals and an order of Wings. We saw several other tables get seated after us and get their food. Our waiter went above and beyond to make us happy but I definitely can not say the same thing for the manager that evening. Very disappointed!
We had the fish and chips. Chips (French fries) were cold, and the fish was hot but so greasy....we all tried to peal off the batter to eat it. Ate outside on the patio which is lovely except for all the bird droppings on the filthy chair pads. Staff was nice, and enjoyed the view.
ExceEllent food and service.
Very, very good! This is our "go to" place with friends, or just a great place to grab and beer and a burger.....plus other excellent menu items. There aren't too many places like this. Just right for most occasions.
I was disappointed with the ambiance and food here. It is a good spot for apres golf drinks and snacks but not for dinnner. We were used to the outside bar area at the Wigwam and thought that was where we would be. It was my mistake. I had the Chicken flatbread and it was not enjoyable.
Out of town guests wanted a local outdoor patio Southwestern restaurant. I chose Red’s. My burger was just warm, as though it had been sitting for a while before being served. They were not busy as there were empty tables inside. We could not get a patio table as they must be reserved. However, that was not an option on Open Table. Would I go to Red’s again? Maybe, to give them another try. There is not much on that side of town that is local and a Southwestern theme.
We had a reservation, but when we checked in with the hostess, she said the only thing she had was outside. Since it was a cold evening, I said we’d wait for a table. She said it would be a very long wait. We ended up at a high top near the front door, which was not an ideal spot for dinner, so we just ordered salads, ate quickly and left. Overall, not a great dining experience for us, but Red’s would be a good spot to sit at the bar and watch sports or sit outside on a pleasant evening.
SERVER CORINNE WAS GREAT AS USUAL.
Had a reservation . Were seated and after 20 minutes we weren’t acknowledged. Left and told the hostesses and they just stared at us. Place is really going downhill.
W enjoyed the opportunity to eat outside in the warm Arizona sunshine. The outdoor seating was very relaxing and the food was excellent. Our friends plan to come back for dining and for playing golf. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Overall, we had a wonderful afternoon at Red's Bar & Grill in Old Litchfield Park, AZ.
The food was good, not great, but the area was very dark. The windows need to be updated as both of the female guests complained of a draft coming from the glass area.
I would also like to see a menu with more variations, not just a southwestern feel.
Much quicker service then in past visits and food was all tasty. Wings were great!
Had a reservation. Didn't seem to need one, but we waited a very long time for our food. French fries were cold. Our waitress was accommodating. Liked her. Problem seemed to be the kitchen.
Christmas Eve breakfast with family we came to visit was delicious and service was great!
The food was wonderful and looking out over the golf course was quite peaceful and relaxing!
LOVE the atmosphere here.
Food - ok, average or a little above. Decent prices for a resort restaurant. The fish (fish and chips) and the onion rings LOOK great but the inside of the breading and fish were mushy. It is also surprising how boring cole slaw can be when it so easy to make it actually have flavor. Disappointing. Seriously. It would also be nice to have a non-spicy sauce option for people whose diets can't handle spicy food. (Sauce for the fish). Nice, and I will go back, but it could so easily be elevated in terms of quality.
Great patio at this time of year!
limited menu and a bit over priced. No music during football season buts that's when the weathers nice enough to sit outside
Red's is in a good location, but it was loud and there were lots of kids running around. Ok for a quick drink. The deviled eggs were good. The Jesse burger was good. The deep fried pickles were not good. Soggy and over battered. Our server, and the other servers were very good!
I am a huge fan of the Wigwam Bar but decided to take my friend to lunch at Red's for her birthday. We had burgers which were great and I asked our sweet server to organize a candle on something, which she did. Great experience. Will be back.. :)
This was a great find for me and my friends. If not for Groupon, we may have never known about this resturant. We had a great time. Beautiful golf course view and excellent food and service. We will be back!
Nice outdoor venue!
Prompt service is always a crap shoot...
The patio is such a great area to sit and have a nice meal. Brendan the server did a great job
We chose Red’s ONLY because the Wigwam website showed a menu that included tuna poke tostadas and a tuna salad. Upon arrival we were told that the menu I had looked at was “discontinued” a week prior. The occasion was our wedding anniversary ... we should have stuck with Litchfields which we’ve done in the past. Our “meal” consisted of onion rings and pretzel bites which were tasty but not the tuna I was so looking forward to. The food and service was just fine. $5.00 glasses of wine during happy hour was quite a deal. We won’t come back but will do Litchfields and/or Wigwam bar.
Restaurant Week experience was horrible. We were told from the get go it would take 45 minutes to have food delivered after ordering, and were also told some desserts on Restaurant Week menu were not available. About 20 minutes after ordering, was told my dish was unavailable and offered a substitute. After 30-40 minutes we asked for appetizer, were told it would be a while but we were offered chips and salsa to hold us over (this was good). However, 5 mins later he said they ran out of chips/salsa too!!! And, we overheard him tell another table the restaurant was out of steak. REALLY?!??
Finally our food arrived (about an hour after ordering) and food was cold. At least the manager had the guts to come out and ask how things were going LOL!
Overall, the restaurant should be embarrassed over this. Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to showcase your offerings- I can understand if a restaurant runs out of something, but not to this extent. Someone really dropped the ball on this. I feel bad for the servers, they were clearly embarrassed.
We were already on the fence about this place, so at least this experience helped make that part of it clear!
This is the first time we visited this restaurant. We were greeted right away. We made reservations ( which were suggested). We were seated right away. The food was delicious and just as we ordered it. We had a great experience and we plan on going back!
Great happy hour, nice atmosphere & tasty food.
The service was good. The burger and sangria I had was awesome!
Disappointed. Dirty table, silverware, and extremely noisy.
It has been awhile since my son and I have visited Red's for the Sunday Breakfast buffet and it continues to be amazing! They have a lot of excellent choices and everything is fresh and full of flavor! I love the view of the golf course, the modern facilities, and the relaxing vibe. The people are friendly and the food is great! What more do you need? :-)
Love the green chile pork burger and the dry brined chicken wings.
Fine casual dining. Burgers cooked to perfection with a large selection of sides (sweet potato fries are a must try). Large selection of other items beside burgers on the menu.
We are always pleased with our experience, service and meal when we visit there. its a very casual, cool environment and great for gatherings with friends and after a golf game. great people ans staff.
A geat family dinner at Red's. Wife had a burger and I had the tuna sandwich, both were perfectly cooked and great. Service was spot on. Kids menu satisfied. Beer was cold.
Limited menu, not good values, and poor quality. The hamburger was tough!
GREAT food, we loved the black bean burgers. Honestly one of the best veggie burgers I've had. Ambiance is definitely on the sports bar kind of side. Very loud, hard to hold conversation here. Great place for happy hour or watching the game though. Eating out on the patio is probably quieter but we were stuck inside on our visit during the heat of summer.
The atmosphere is beautiful but we were seated outside and the service was almost non existent. Very disappointed as the person I was with does not get to get out much and we did not get what we expected.
