The restaurant was almost completely empty. The food was ok, nothing memorable, could use proper seasoning. Our server was the worst part of the experience. Many of us didn’t love the food and didn’t come close to finishing but he kept on repeating that we were ‘full and happy’. The final layer on the cake was that we were a party of 6 and not only did they add gratuity to the check, but the server with the man bun never said anything so we ended up tipping again. Would not recommend and will be contesting the extra ‘grat’

This place really blew me away. Great food, great service, and live music! We had the onion rings to start (free with hotel stay) and then the salmon over pesto rice which was OUT OF THIS WORLD incredible. Service was fast, food came out hot and delicious, what more could you ask for?
Red's is associated with an upscale hotel. Service was unbalanced with our lead server training another. As a result, we waited quite a bit. I ordered Pork Tenderloin with relish, Brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes. Tenderloin was cooked well and quite generous. Sprouts were oily and only lightly roasted. Fingerlings were uneven. Some were cooked well and some were almost raw. Overall our experience was okay but the service could have been better.
Made an unnecessary reservation. Mostly hotel guests eat here. Seated at a COLD/DRAFTY table and promptly requested a reseating. There was plenty of space but hostess appeared surprised/flustered by the request... it can't be a new issue. The ceiling vent pointed straight down on the chair below.

The food was good, the service was adequate. I am glad I went once, but I probably will not return . I could not name one thing outstanding or noteworthy. There are other places as good or better for equal or better value. Somewhat disappointing for a 4 star resort.

I love the salmon each time I have been there it's been delicious. The service is alright, they never brought out the bread that should have been a starter.

We have eaten at Reds many times and have never been disappointed. Exec Chef, Sean Murphy, has been a chef at another establishment at which we enjoyed dining until the restaurant closed. He has brought his culinary experience to Reds and we are glad.
We have enjoyed Reds on multiple occasions; never disappointed in the food or the service. On this occasion, Thanksgiving Day, the service was a bit off. Maybe it was because of too much business for servers to handle.
No bread or rolls were served. I had the New York steak. This steak was 40 to 50% fat and not very tender. However, my wife had the Sea Bass; I had a taste and we both thought it was quite good. The dinners were pricey and the steak should have been much better than it was.
This was our third time at Reds. Still haven’t been disappointed after 3 years. Entrees were excellent but the dessert and wine exceeded expectations as usual. Love to come here for a date night when we visit Sedona.
The waitresses were very nice and mine was helpful when I asked for substitution. I really enjoyed the cornflake crusted french toast. The service was quick and the place was clean. Very enjoyable.

We have eaten at Red's in the past, however, this was the worst meal ever. They had no steaks on the menu, offered no specials, and suggested their "Pub" Steak when we ask for a filet. It was the absolutely poorest cut of meat, touch, stringy, and was like chewing rubber. We made a short night of it, thank goodness for a decent glass of Cabernet. Our service was good, kudos for the lady who had to serve this meal. Will not eat here again. We have stayed at the Sedona Rouge and eaten at Red's many times, having gotten good food in the past. We had lunch at Reds with my 91 year old mother. They took great care of us, got her an extra cushion for her seat--service was great. The food was also good--nothing fancy, but well-prepared, fresh, and tasty. I will definitely go back.
We have always enjoyed Reds for food and service. Chef Sean Murphy has added his touch to the menu and it is good.

We wanted to like this restaurant, but sadly our experience doesn't allow for that. I ordered a salad without cheese, it came with cheese (no big deal) I sent it back, a new salad was brought which I ate about halfway through before I realized there was still cheese in it. I'm not, but had I been allergic, this could have been tragic. When I pointed this out to the server, she simply removed the salad without comment. I ordered the fish special, which was probably the worst fish I had ever had. Tasteless, way too firm, and a total waste of money. It was the attitude as much as the food that made this such a terrible experience. There are plenty of other great places in Sedona to eat where you can get great food, great service and not feel like you wasted your money.
We enjoyed a delightful evening at Red's celebrating our daughter's birthday. The setting is simple, with low lighting and background music that was conversation-friendly. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Entrees & sides were all tasty - especially the grilled bistro tender of beef - and the portions were perfect. Just enough room to try some delicious dessert offerings: homemade ice cream and sorbet, cheesecake and a piece of chocolate cake enhanced with a candle & message for the birthday girl.
Good fast service and good food not too expensive and comfortable surroundings, plus closeby parking.

The food was fair, the price was high for the food quality. The seating was ridiculous , they had many open tables but clustered everyone next to each other so there was no privacy for any conversation.
Perviously, we had enjoyed happy hour and small bites at Red's many times and we kept meaning to go for dinner. We finally did so and couldn't believe what we had been missing. To start, we split the spinach salad and it was the best we've ever had. So satisfying and flavorful! For the main course, I had the shrimp scampi and hubby had the scallops. Both were outstanding. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is comfortable and romantic. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was quick to act on every request. We will be back as soon as possible. Red's is now our number one go-to choice for dinner.
Server was poor. Asked if I could sub risotto for mashed potatoes, and answer was yes. Scallops arrived with potatoes, and we're cold by the time the risotto arrived. Over priced meal also 3 scallops for $32???
The four of us enjoyed our food tremendously and would order the same entrees again. Two of us had the spicy tofu, and two of us ordered the salmon. The food was fantastic, compliments to the chefs. Service is always very good at Red's. We will be back again and again. We have also had lunch at Red's and I can't say enough about the great onion rings. I recommend them.
The service was terrible. There was one server but not very many tables. Didn't bring us bread. Waters were never refilled. We even had to ask someone else working at the restaurant for our tabs so we could leave... worst restaurant experience in Sedona..
What a huge disappointment on Christmas Day. We were looking forward to salmon, and risotto, which we love at Red's. What we got was a choice of 4 entrees and none of them were appealing. We opted for the turkey with mashed potatoes and stuffing, figuring that would be the best option. It was awful. Dry, tough turkey, the potatoes and stuffing were ok, the vegetables not too good. And it was expensive at $45 per person (although that included a so so salad and a choice of dessert). There were 3 choices of dessert, but the one we would have liked was the creme brulee, and they were out of it. Out of it at 6:15 p.m.!!!! How did they run out of it by 6:15? I have to wonder if they had any at all. We usually love the food at Red's. We will just have to stay away on holidays and other special occasions when they are offering a limited menu.
We had Christmas dinner and it was nice and quiet. Food was good service was great and the atmosphere is pleasant. I think this restaurant would be great for casual dining with family and friends.
What a nice experience. Have been to Sedona many times but hadn't heard of Reds before. Four guests with four different entrees and all were very good. Will go again.
Restaurant was nice and buser was great but they need new cooks! Food was flavorless and they don't know how to cook steak! Just bland all the way around and I'm not a picky person but I should have listened to the reviews and stayed away.
Live band was very good. We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller & tenderloin. Presentation of the food was very nice but the flavor was only okay. The creme brule, however, was awesome.
The server was not very well versed in the menu and the restaurant had limited options to accommodate a dairy allergy at dinner. We custom ordered select items off the menu and still were not served what we ordered. My roasted chicken was very thin, dried out and had average flavor at best. My husband asked for additional demi glaze for his steak and they brought him a completely different brown gravy. We expressed our disappointment with our meal and our server did nothing. No member of management ever approached us not we're we offered to have our meals corrected. I would not recommend this place for food or service.
