Reds is just opening after a renovation. They have a few kinks to iron out. Server was pleasant but inexperienced. Food menu was very different but I was not overly impressed!

It was my wife's birthday dinner. I made a reservation and told the host about my wife's BDay. We had a room at the hotel Reds is attached to. I went down early to make sure everything was going to be set for my wife's birthday. I spoke with the bartender( he was the only one there at the time). I told him about my wife and aske if he could have a chocolate lave cake ready for her. He said it would be. When we got to the restraint, they didn't check our reservation. We ordered drinks and found they used old bitter cherries. The water glasses were dirty. I ordered a medium steak and it was cooked well done. We were on a time crunch and I was hungry so I didn't send it back. The cake I set up wasn't even started when we finished dinner. I will not ever return.

This restaurant attached to a hotel and spa is better than your average hotel eatery. The service was delightfully personable and our food was creative and delightful.

The food was awful. The waitress couldn’t remember what we ordered and brought out the wrong thing twice. We were her only table. There was nobody in the restaurant. Now we know why.

We only had a light dinner, but when a chef can make simple items like shrimp cocktail and a salad interesting and memorable - that is real talent! Exciting flavors, good beverages, and attentive but not hovering staff are what we look for and Reds delivered. We will be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the restaurant too. The hotel was in the style of fine European hotels. It was comfortable and relaxed and yet precise in its attention to detail. We were well cared for there. We appreciated the beautiful surroundings so well crafted for our enjoyment. In particular, the outside areas that blended so well with the surround natural landscape. A true find and a delight to stay in. We plan to return, absolutely!

My wife and I stayed at Sedona Rouge for our anniversary and had dinner at Reds the night we got there. Everyone in the staff at Reds was wonderful! Even thought it got busy, our waitress was patient and quick to our needs. The manager stopped by the table and discussed wine options with us and even offered us a wine option that wasn't on the menu. The portions were a little small, but the food tasted great! I had the salmon and everything about it, taste, presentation, and sides, were very good. We also had a side order of onion rings and shrimp cocktail and both were delicious. Only complaints I had, if you can really call them complaints, were the prize to size of items on the menu and the fact that we could easily hear nearly everyone's conversation around us. It was entertaining, but a little distracting. My wife would like to add that if you like margaritas, you have to try their Cactus Margarita blended with sugar around the rim. She loved it! I would recommend anyone to go here for a meal while visiting Sedona and will go back here when I find myself back in Sedona again.

It was Father’s Day at Noon, we few costumers! Server was immature and not very attentive. Plenty of staff to have given spectacular service! It was way down from the level of service a month ago! Food was inconsistent with previous visits. I visit several times a month on business. As a family we orefer to dine at home....so when we dine out we expect great experience.

I went to Reds for my 50th birthday dinner. I dined alone. This was my first time visiting Reds and it most certainly will not be the last. The food was absolutely superb! I ordered a dish from the Happy Hour menu, Petite Salmon with Garlic Parmesan mashed potatoes. It was a perfect portion for a small dish. The salmon was flaky and very tasty, the sauce it was served with was delicious and the potatoes were scrumptious! For dessert, I ordered the Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee with sugar lace tower. It was to die for! The brulee came topped with the burnt sugar and the brulee itself was so smooth and creamy with the right amount of sweetness. The cream served on the side with fresh berries was also very delicious. The sugar tower was perfect, crispy and sweet. It was easily one of the best desserts I've ever had anywhere! The service was excellent and it wasn't very busy when I was there so I enjoyed a very nice and quiet meal for my birthday. I was very happy with my visit to Reds and recommend them very highly for a casual dinner or special occasion. I plan to visit them again on future trips to Sedona! Thank you Reds for making my birthday dinner special!

Pricing not bad for a spa hotel in Sedona. My party was happy with all their entrees and my 3 year old nephew loved his kids pasta. Wine list is small, but adequate, and wine prices are very reasonable for some decent bottles.

We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door, however, we waited over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Our waitress was great after she finally got around to us. The menu selection was rather small, and they were already sold out of what I wanted and also for dessert. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. Service definitely needs improvement.

Didn't feel like venturing out after a full day of travelling so we dined at Reds at the Sedona Rouge Hotel where we were staying. It was a wise choice. Very good meal overall with above average service. The grilled avocado appetizer was a nice surprise. A little pricey but that goes with the territory. Would return.

I made the open table reservation and then got to Red’s. I was concerned, because it looked to be just a cafe at a hotel. Don’t be fooled. The service was great and the food not only delicious but innovative and Arizona-centric. I had a prickly pear mojito and the elote and peppers flatbread (pizza, more or less). We shared grilled artichokes, which were also fabulous, and a new preparation for me. I highly recommend Red’s.

I would not recommend Red's unless and until it resumes what, for many years, had been an outstanding mini-menu of bar appetizers. Many of those -- the sliders, for example -- had become Sedona favorites. Why give up on such a good and very popular thing? Bring 'em back, and we'll be back!

Disappointing. Food is mediocre at best. With one exception, the stone fruit appetizer was delicious and the red rock manhattan was on point. Staff was flat out rude. Not the kind of service or demeanor we’d expect anywhere. We understand that it was the holidays and appreciate there was staff there, but they clearly resented all the customers. They were consistently rude. The bartender and Maitre D in particular. The staff was openly complaining about Customers (not us that we heard) not even trying to hide their disgust. When booking our vacation stay at Sedona, Reds Restaurant being on site with the hotel was important. Not only won’t I recommend the restaurant, I won’t recommend the resort, primarily because of the restaurant staff.

Our waiter Edgar was very nice. We were misinformed not once but twice about the hours and what would be available to order. There was also an extreme misprint on the menu. Of course of which I ordered. When it was brought out, I mentioned it to our waiter. It was not his fault, but seriously to have such a blatant misprint on your menu. In addition, we felt rushed to order. The priority was to prepare for the Christmas Day feast. No one smiled or greeted us. Edgar was cordial but everyone else looked like they didn’t want to be there.

The Thanksgiving meal was expensive and disappointing. The turkey was dry, little or no gravy and the potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. The turkey stuffing was bland. 4 meals, one bottle of wine and a bill for $332.
