Since 1989, Redlefsen's Rotisserie & Grill has been a favorite Bristol restaurant, serving eclectic fare with a European flair. We pride ourselves on being a small town European style restaurant which draws the best from several countries. German food is the primary focus, with the best Wiener Schnitzel of any Rhode Island restaurant. Wonderful German beer and Belgian beer also grace our authentic porcelain beer towers. For those who are not looking for a German dinning experience we also feature several Italian and French dishes and even a Portuguese little neck appetizer since we are in Bristol. For New Englanders our fish is fresh and local. So you can enjoy fresh fried sole, instead of frozen fish and chips. Overlooking the water front at Independence park, and in the heart of downtown Bristol, Rhode Island, Redlefsen's is comfortably elegant. Whether you sit in our dining room, the lounge, or the function room.

Redlefsen"s throws fun parties almost every month. From Robert Burns supper, to Luau's and summer concerts for 4th of July weeks.
The greatest party of all is at Redlefsen's for Oktoberfest. We have accordion players and the Alpenblumen Bavarian dancers performing every Tuesday and Wednesday in the month of Oktober and a kick off in the last week of September.
There is a small lot on the South corner of the restaurant and a bank of on street diagonal parking spots across the street.
There is a bus stop at Hope street and Franklin Street.
Private Party Facilities:
The Heidelberg Function room seats 20 to 55 people comfortably and can be used for a cocktail reception up to 70. The room is decorated with the same warmth of the main dinning room which makes it a romantic location for rehearsal diners, showers and anniversary parties.

Redlefsen's Ratings and Reviews
I made reservations for my mom my sister my 2 daughters and my husband and I for easter dinner. It was the third time my husband and I were there. Everyone loved the shared apps of red salad and calamari. We all loved our meals from baked ham to lamb steak and seafood with pasta. The crewmen brûlée was really good too. Waiter was very nice and attentive. Love this place!!!❤️Go! You won't be sorry!!!
My son served in the Navy for seven years and wanted the family to have dinner to celebrate this event. We had taken him here previously and because of his experience this was his choice for a great place to dine We weren't disappointed. The service and food were outstanding. We will be returning .
Food is always good here! Our waitress was a little tipsy I think as she repeated herself several times, forgot our appetizer, brought my friend the wrong dish & asked us 3 times what we ordered for dessert! She was sweet tho & we laughed it off. We were 1 of 2 tables she had. Great place.
Redlefsens remains one of our favorite restaurants for food, location, friendliness, good service and October Fest! We come here each time some special friends are in town, with visiting relatives, and often just on on own for a early bite to eat on the outside porch with the beautiful views. We will be back soon.
Redlefsons is an old stand by for us. We sat at 830 on a weekday and they close at 9. Overall the server was generally absent and inattentive to getting orders and moving us along. Service has eroded over the last couple years. Servers need to spend more time in eyeshot of the table and take orders more quickly versus being occupied by side work.
When we arrived (a few minutes early), the restaurant was nearly empty. However, we were offered a table on the outside porch, overlooking the park and Bristol Harbor. The porch was soon full with a friendly company, and the food and service were excellent. We will recommend the restaurant highly.
Great German food as well as American tastes. Although the restaurant is large open room the noise level is kept at a minimum. This trip we sat on the patio on the street overlooking Independence Park with Bristol Harbor beyond. Eat here you won't be disappointed.
Loved the special beer night complete with a Palm glass to take home...petite amous bouche was a nice touch but nothing special.
Tried the Rindergoulash for the first time and it was wonderful...a new favorite!
Also had the Chicken Provence (again) which is our very favorite...a generous helping of goat cheese made it even better than usual.
This one is disappointing to write...
The restaurant is always good and the service and food is consistent (and this was the case on our visit).
The open door policy to allow anyone to walk in off the street, especially on 4th of July weekend, has got to stop. Seriously, the line to the bathroom was 20+ minutes (for men or women) and stretched all the way to the table where 4 adults and 2 kids were trying to eat.
Seriously, there were more loud and tipsy people in line to use the bathroom then there were diners.
And the owner was there, the host was there, and everyone was making a comment about how crazy it was but they did nothing to stop non-customers.
Great way to lose a family member for almost half an hour during dinner.
