The scallops were not that great. I’ve had better at Le Petit Paris. However, the cocktail drinks were amazing. Just exquisite. My fave dish was the lamb belly and Brussels sprouts. The service is on point. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. Nothing but good vibes form our waiter as well as the back waiters. I like the valet service, in fact I prefer valet. Overall the restaurant did not disappoint. At the end of the night my girlfriend and I were pleased.
Excellent service and food. We will be going back soon.
Outstanding 1st Redbird experience. Realizing we may be heading to a concert the Waiter asked about the time we had...then proceeded to build the service around that expectation. Well Done Redbird!
we were here six months ago and i did not write a good review... but this seemed like a NEW team ... everyone worked together, staff was knowledgeable and you just felt like good service all around.. food is always excellent... but team was really good...
My parents loved the place!
Redbird is the best of the best in downtown LA. Not too formal, but beautifully designed, staff trained exquisitely and everything tastes as good as it gets and not outrageously expensive.
As always, the food, service and ambience are impecable. The chef and mixologists keep the menu creative and seasonal
Great atmosphere and service. The food was innovative and delicious. We wanted to try everything on the menu. Cocktail menu was also very impressive and tasty.
This restaurant is amazing, the ambiance, the staff and food. I live around the corner so I will definitely be back soon.
The location is very cool, I like the reinterpretation in a modern way of classics such as Risotto, main courses or Salads, we selected it on OpenTable looking for American contemporary cuisine and it was a perfect choice! Good selection of wine also, recommended!
Beautiful decor & food that looks as good as it tastes. We were late tot Th theater and they were very accommodating - delivering our entire meal within 10 minutes with perfect presentation and a smile. We were very pleased.
Lovely restaurant, comfortable atmosphere. Food is rich, portions "nouvelle", and prices high-ish, so better for a stylish rendezvous than a satisfying meal.
Every time I go to Redbird it is outstanding. From
Cocktails at the bar to long dinner under the open roof. The servers always make me feel like I am
The only one in the dining room.
Ordered 4 items. Avocado salad was absolutely soaked with ranch style dressing. Not lightly tossed - but soaked. I tried but I could not eat this. Crab Thai soup - great flavors except too spicy for all at the table - lips and tongue were burning. Mushroom pasta - this pasta dish was rich and flavorful but the pasta was overcooked to the point of being mushy. The pork ragu pasta - definitely the best dish of the night. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the flavors very nice.
The service was okay. The person running around filling water glasses poured water on everything on the table. His attention to detail was nonexistent. We picked out a nice bottle of burgundy which we were insulted for in the tone of the staff asking "why would you pick that bottle?"
The setting is a cool space and fun but all else made it not worth the experience.
Superb service from the minute we walked in the door. Immediate service of water, drink order taken promptly, warm bread arrived soon thereafter. Server was knowledgeable and helpful in recommending the appropriate amount of the food for us to share. The only comment was that it was a bit cool in the restaurant, having been seated in the outdoor part of the restaurant. We did not ask to be reseated or to have any heater turned on. I kept my jacket on and ordered some tea.
Staff was a little pretentious and full of then self. Not friendly yet helpful. For the price it was not amazing.
Nice ambiance but the unfriendly staff really threw me off.
Dinner was fantastic. I had the boar and my friend had the duck. The duck came sliced, almost like a steak.
The service was excellent and attentive.
Could’ve been a little better in terms of temperature of the food. Everything came out cold.
Outstanding service & quality of food was exceptional.
If you enjoy a dining experience full of class, charm, and genuine DTLA atmosphere... pay REDBIRD a visit.
Bar service was nice, but not focused. We ate at the bar, never really knew who was taking care of us. A busy night, maybe better on quieter nights.
We were early as we had tickets to the Ahmanson. Overall was a great experience.
The food and cocktails but the service and attention to detail were missing
Wonderful experience, highly recommended. The flavors were outstanding.
Redbird is a great place for brunch. Every part of our experience was wonderful, from checking in to our reservation till we paid the check and picked up our packed up leftovers with the hostesses. The menu has nice twists on your typical brunch food and a very nice cocktail menu if you want to make it a boozy brunch. I would definitely come back.
Went because my parents were in town and we all had amazing meals. Perfect brunch spot!
Visiting daughter at school
Our second time there and it didn’t fail to wow!
Really good food, wonderful service. Somewhat eclectic menu, but really fun. Great, unusual atmosphere. A little pricey for everyday eating.
Service food and ambiance are all brilliant at Redbird! Looking forward to returning soon.
Had quite a few dishes wasn’t thrilled
Overall everything was perfect. I thought my food came out a little cold so that affected my food experience. Beyond the temperature issue, food was undeniably delicious and well worth the trip. I’d definitely go back.
The nicest valets in town! So caring and helpful.
Also the most appealing and comfortable bar
Always a great dining experience.
We stopped here for a quick birthday brunch for my husband on our way home from a weekend getaway. It was delicious with pleasant service and loved the bright space.
Shawn, our waiter, was especially attentive and gave us excellent recommendations. Ask to be seated in his area.
The food was delicious, every appetizer, salad and entree. Service was impeccable. Venue is gorgeous.
Great ambiance, good service, food was pricey compare to flavor
Great food and drink. Quality produce and guest class service. Dishes were slightly on the small size but overall I’m very impressed.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
Even though the setting is unique and interesting if you can sit on the semi-open patio, the menu was
confusing and weird. It was one of the strangest we've ever seen. We actually hated it. The chef is trying to be too Haute Cuisine. I had read it was the best food in L.A. I ordered the duck. The first bite was tough and the little bites of duck didn't have much taste. Including the $12 Valet plus tip is the only parking option nearby, glad we experienced it once but won't be returning.
