Loved the new menu, service is excellent.
Amazingly awesome 👏
Always special, can count on a good meal all the time. Great waiter and advice from Sommelier. We will be back.
Enjoyed it very much- pleasant and relaxing place to dine
Excellent food and service. Was a little disappointed in the ambiance. For the first time going there, I had a completely different expectation.
I would have given it 5 stars but we arrived early and they tried to seat us at a very dark small table. After we said we would wait for our actual reservation time we sat at the bar for 1/2 hour after our actual reservation time. You could tell the hostess was annoyed that we declined the first table which in my opinion should have been given to a walk in instead of someone who actually made a reservation.
We ordered 4 apps, 4 entrees and desert to share many things - everything tasted the same. Upset stomach after - too much salt! Service was slow and unapologetic. They even charged $100 bottle of champagne on our bill by accident and we barely got an apology. We won't be back because the food was not good.
ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL FOOD, and they were so kind, even though i had actually made a res for sunday mistakenly, and we showed up saturday night. and i thought the food was better and more interesting than providence!
Very disappointed at the food. Everything tasted blah. I ordered a pork plate and it came out rare when I wasn’t asked how I wanted it done. For steak to be rare is one thing but pork? Could not chew or cut it so rubbery. No one around the table liked their dish. Not coming back again. Overrated.
My family and I met my mother, my brother and his family here for brunch. We’d never been here before and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. We’ll be back soon, for sure.
Incredible. Don’t miss it.
The best meal & dining experience I’ve had in LA in 10 years of coming out from NYC. Perfect atmosphere, service and menu for a romantic evening or dining with good friends. Duck was cooked perfectly & the halibut with white beans was memorable to say the least. Will definitely be back next time we are in LA!
Great service, not snobby which was refreshing in comparison to Beverly Hills and Hollywood and other downtown spots.
They made my Campari Spritz to perfection and octopus was so on point. I cant wait to try more.
Second time here, and it was not nearly as good as last time. Cocktails were awesome, service was only OK, I did not like my entree, and should have sent it back.
I've never realized there is a good restaurant Little Tokyo area. Foods are nice people are awesome. Must go placebif you stay on downtown area.
Loved the place!! Foo, service and ambience are exceptional. Cannot wait to go back next time I am in LA.
The space is lovely, and the food is delicious!
The food was exquisite. They are a rare place and that they know how to make a good dirty martini. And the service was impeccable.
On a previous visit, I ordered the ribeye for 2, so I tried it again. While it was good, the meat was not as tender and tasty as before. It could have been the cut of meat or a different preparation but I was disappointed. The drinks, Hamachi and Brussel Sprouts were excellent!!!
Everything at Redbird is heaven! From the amuse bouche cocktail through the grilled octopus, burrata, shishito peppers, salmon, halibut, and tofu - AMAZING! We love Redbird and will continue to return and enjoy!
Started with service then orders with the a great ambience And very artsy audience great tasting food
This wonderful restaurant is a delight just to sit in. The food is meticulously prepared and presented. The wine and spirits list is extensive.
Everything was tasty. It was a bit overpriced for what it was.
Best mixologist, great serverd, all knowledgeable. A great date spot!
No one acknowledged our special occasion (an engagement!) and the server had no idea about the food allergies we mentioned in our reservation notes, so clearly no one at the restaurant bothered to read what we had written. We were seated outside of the main dining area despite the occasion - a minor point but a little disappointing given that there seemed to be ample space available there. Hostess was cold as ice. Risotto was hard and undercooked (junior move, I was a chef in NYC fine dining for 10 years), octopus app was nicely done, steak tartar was good-not-great, salmon main and accompanying elements were bland. We’ve come here regularly for brunch over the year and much preferred it in terms of service, food, and atmosphere. The best part were the bussers, who remembered us from brunch and were sweet. Otherwise, just an expensive flop in fine dining LA, all form with little substance. Will be hesitant to return for dinner.
The food was extremely salty and pricey. Also, I was expecting the main dining room to have a glass top but it was curtained off so the room was dark and gloomy. The service was OK but I had reserved with a highchair and even called to confirm the highchair but showed up and there was no highchair. Had to ask for it while I waited for them to get one. Overall, not the best experience.
Consistently great food and wonderful service. One of our favorite places in LA.
Just fantastic! From decor and lighting, service to food and drink, the entire first time out of town experience was sensational. Our waiter was nice enough to walk us through the menu and how much food to order. He brought me a gin aperitif that was just divine, bartenders choice. For me and my partner to share we ordered buratta, crab, braised goat and roasted pork. By the time the pork, which takes 30min to prepare, arrived, we were very satisfied and were concerned that we may have gone overboard with the pork but trust me the first bite of that pork was like nothing had ever had before and we finished it through and through.
Definitely recommended and we are certain to visit another time.
Awesome vibe. Food was delicious, however, if you're hungry you may want to grab something to eat first before you go, as portions are rather same, but overall, we'll definitely return.
Everything was delicious. Service was great and the brunch was a perfect fit four our matinee at East West Players.
I go to Redbird any time I'm downtown for the theater. I don't live downtown and it's a long drive in traffic which keeps me from going more often.
Food and service were great as usual! Only drawback is the noise - but that is becasue it's so popular and full of talkative people in a high ceilinged room.
Great space. Has a definite LA meets ladies who lunch vibe.
I enjoyed a lovely birthday dinner with my friend. Food was amazing. In fact, the hamachi was so good we put a pause on the rest of the meal and and had a second order of it before continuing.
We sat on the patio which is beautiful, but pretty loud. If you want it quieter, I recommend you sit inside—we’ll try that next time.
So many tasty dishes and the surprise drink to start the dinner made the evening perfect! Dining on the courtyard was a treat , it’s beautiful at night . Love that place !
Staff very accommodating. Decor lovely. Food delicious.
The food was good and service too, but this was not at all what I expected looking at pictures and description. It was also very noisy, and didn’t feel as young or laidback as I thought it would.
Amazing food and service
Mother’s Day brunch. Very nice menu with options for allZ very tender ribeye cap. Great Bloody Mary.
