   Rustic looking. Gives a comfy feel about it. Greeted and taken straight to our table. Our server was friendly. Gave great advice on the menu. Food came out in good time. Appetizers were nice. Steaks cooked perfectly Elk steak delicious.

   Brian B took good care of us. I had noted we were celebrating our 51st anniversary. After we were through with our meal, he brought over a slice of pecan carrot cake that was just out of this world.

   This is a great spot for brunch! Tables are spaced nicely for safety and conversation. Free valet parking while dining. Good food, too.

    Absolutely amazing experience at Red Stag Grill! The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was jaw-dropping! Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. We shared the Wagyu beef, Elk steak, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and the sourdough bread appetizer with 3 butters & a delectable chocolate tart for dessert. All were thoroughly enjoyed with multiple glasses of delicious wines. I highly recommend Red Stag Grill!! Make your reservations to enjoy all they have to offer soon!

    Thomas was our server. Knowledgeable, warm and attentive. Incredible food. My husband and myself are carnivorous :-) … awesome menu for meat lovers and filling portions. Extensive wine list and creative cocktails. Super easy access especially for Biltmore guests. We will be back.

    Had a great time on our last night of vacation. Beautiful ambiance, very nice service and food was delicious! We had two kids with us and they happily provided kids menus. Bread board, wedge salad, crab cake, braised ribs, wagu strip and mashed potatoes were all very much enjoyed. Would definitely go back!

    The restaurant is very dark, thank goodness for the backlit menus. My mom had the steak which was very good. I had the trout which was underwhelming (dry and bland), made even worse by the $57 price tag. Carrot cake was divine. Our server was very attentive. Overall a good experience. I would give them another chance.

    This was a very unique atmosphere with incredible, artfully and thoughtfully designed food. We had the chef’s choice four course meal and were very pleased with each course. We highly recommend this place!

    My husband and I were greeted warmly by the gentleman at the desk who brought us to our table. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm, inviting and very romantic. We had a delicious meal tonight at this restaurant. The libations and the wine were extraordinary. Our server Brandon was excellent, and provided wonderful service. We enjoyed our conversation with him, he made us feel at home. The food was delivered to us in a timely manner by hospitality server’s. We were visiting for the first time from Virginia.     Bizarre!! Way over the top faux-Bavarian lodge in Ashville. Honestly food was very good. I absolutely hate places that state a dress code, then don’t enforce it. RSG says ‘smart casual’ dress is required. Then they seat a guy next to me whose guy hangs out of his tee shirt and over his ‘athletic’ shorts. Man up. And the moron talks on his cell phone throughout dinner. Not a 1st class experience.

    Service at the table and food were excellent. However, food on the floor under the table and on my husband’s chair from a previous guest was quite unsettling and not appealing, of course. Also, the day time bar tender could use a little training as throwing napkins in our direction and having them land all over was quite unprofessional. Not sure if he was trying to be funny or not, but again, this colored our experience in a negative way. Overall, with the service at the table (excellent) and the food (also excellent), we’ll give the place another try at some point.

    Amazing food. A little pricey but it is worth visiting. The ambience and atmosphere is gorgeous, a hunting lodge feel. My husband and I visit Asheville a few times a year and always eat here while we are visiting. We also recommend the Grand Bohemian hotel- Red Stag is located within the hotel.

    Average at best. Prime steak anything but. Scallops devoid of taste, thankfully salt & pepper on table helped some. Would’ve said something but service very slow, and a serious language barrier. Very sorry canceled reservation at the Ruth’s Chris across the street, as it’s one of the best in the chain.
