Fantastic food, great atmosphere,( a bit dark if thats an issue); good variety on menu-including vegetarian; a change of pace from american food!
Everything was delicious. More ingredients need to be listed on the menu,
one dish had cheese in it and Im allergic, so that needs to be spelled out better. But we had a great time
Richness and tradition strike you as you enter the Red Square, a Russian influenced American restaurant in the Mandalay Bay Casino property. A tasting menu of caviar, and many kinds of vodka are available. No gluten free items, but everything it delightful, we will be back. Erica, our waitress, was knowlegable and very nice.
The caviar was good. My wife loved the Brussels sprouts and the meatballs.
wonderful ambiance and music--red light envelopes you and creates a cozy, intimate atmosphere. the martinis are amazing, as is the caviar presentation. I've been coming here annually for probably a decade. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
I love the idea of having unconventional food in an exquisite atmosphere. Our choices this visit include Putin’s Hackleback caviar, just ok. To me it’s the accompaniment that matters. Unfortunately this wasn’t my choice, RS was out of the 2 caviar that I actually wanted. But things look up from here on, dark beety borscht, giant chicken Kiev balls, veal pelmeni dumplings, and big lamb kabobs. All very good. Service was attentive and kind. I think if the servers’ attire is more Russian, it would add to the appeal of Red Square.
It is a Russian restaurant but nobody speaks Russian, even chef is from Asia. I ordered a beer and never received it even though I spent almost $200 on a mediocre dinner.
Fabulous!! Delicious! Caviar on your mashed potatoes?!? Yummmm... cold Vodka martinis— delicious. Excellent service to boot!
Everything was great! Our service was awesome!
Our group of 10 had a variety of food preferences/allergies from shellfish to vegetarian to gluten-free. Red Square was knowledgeable and able to accommodate everyone. Portions are hearty and everyone left with full belly's.
Best Martini Bar in Vegas. Russian food with a modern view
The pork chop was so salty that I actually had Daly burns on my tongue. I haven’t sent a dish back in a restaurant in 20 years, but this was just acceptable. And even my foodie wife couldn’t deal with it. But unfortunately even the follow up dish, the chicken, was dry and tasteless. My wife’s steak was tasty, although a little over cooked for a medium, but would have been good for me.
The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Would definitely put it on my have to experience again list.
Been coming for years over 10 each year to this restaurant. The prices and the value are not equal. The stroganoff is their most expensive item and the most over priced. Has not always been that way and has lost it flare. The appetizers and the fish were all good but here again over priced. Even to Vegas standards in my opinion.
Not sure how long this establishment can stay together but assuming long, changes should be made or a challenge. Will be back for a Martini!
The chef prepared the meat for steak tartare for me without seasonings. It was delicious. The dining room itself was a little on the dark side. Service was good.
Food was delicious including some more unusual items. Stroganoff was delicious as was the pastry baked salmon. Appetizers including fresh bread with egg were also excellent. Service was solid. Interesting period decor.
The ambiance and food were great. The service from JD was terrible. My friend and I are foodies. We love to experience great food, ambience and service. We specifically indicated that we wanted to start with some appetizers then order entree. We got the appetizers which while we were enjoying our food JD never came to check on us or take additional orders. Next time we saw him he brought dessert menu. We were surprised!!! Needless to say our experience was shattered. There are some work that needs to be done.
The Russian food was a new experience for us. Everything was explained and the taste was amazing. Try the meatball appetizer and the Gorba chop pork chop was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The salmon wrapped in puff pastry and spinach was another amazing dish. Overall this was a delicious dining experience.
Always excellent when we have dined here. We like sitting at the bar and the bartenders are attentive and know how to serve drinks and food so that you feel extremely comfortable. Went there for Valentine's Evening and they served their regular menu, which was a plus for us, as we didn't have to get involved in a special pre-fixe dinner menu. We ordered our usual caviar, which is served with all the extras including blini, and the salmon flat bread pizza, which came with large pieces of salmon and a thin elegant crust. Along with any type of vodka drink and many vodkas to choose from, this restaurant makes you feel like you are back in Moscow. Have the taxi or Uber take Frank Sinatra Drive to the back entrance downstairs of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and you will be able to walk in and be a few feet away from the restaurant.
We have eaten here several times over the past 3 years and it’s really going downhill. Our server clearly had no training. The filet was over cooked. The sides arrived late and were the wrong ones. We should have taken the hint when we saw the $41 beef stroganoff that this place is now taking itself way too seriously.
Much better steak places in Vegas for the money and all with better service too.
Borscht was very good, other food was good, not great. Dining room was ok, but the Cold Room was a lot of fun.
Fabulous food, sexy intimate atmosphere. Ummm can’t wait to go back.
Son’s 21st Birthday ; this information was included in the reservation but nothing was done at table? Disappointed!
I have been coming to this restaurant for years! My favorite Vegas spot and the new management has ruined it!!! What Russian Restaurant has “surf and turf?!!” (I kid you not!). I used to order caviar flights and now they dump a tin in front of you. No more “real” Russian delicacies, they have French fries now. Oh, by the way, the prices are still as high as the authentic Russian place. Send these guys to Siberia and bring back the original place!
Pricing was what is to be expected from a resort but I was hoping for a limited menu done well. Scallops were over salted, IMHO, but prepared well. guest We were not pleased with the petite filet steak and did not find the asparagus prepared well. TheKobe sliders went over well. Overall it was an adequate meal it served its purpose. The wait staff abandoned us/left us alone after they served the meal. Great cocktail and wine list.
Food is way too expensive and terrible. Service is equally careless. Nothing quality here.
It was a slow night and one part of the restaurant was close. We sat in the area near the bar seats. Other than that the rest are 5 star. Service, food, and value. We ordered the surf and turf (not in the menu but they serve daily). We will be back.
The Vodka Vault was a "must try once" experience, and they offer to take pics. Our service was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. The food was good, it depends what you have a taste for. We enjoyed it.
It’s a little too dark even for a Las Vegas restaurant Not kid friendly at all
Cheese plate was nice. Menu selection was not the same as the menu on Open Table. Server was not helpful.
Mediocre food at high prices. Nothing Russian since the menu was changed.
Love the small bites happy hour menu. Great place.
Food was good, but nothing outstanding. Service was good.
Ambiance is beautiful. Cocktails are original. The caviar selection is very good and comes with full condiments. We would return for another dining experience.
Ran a little late, but the restaurant totally understood & still honored my reservation. The salmon I ordered was awesome, as was the dessert. Highly recommend Red Square to anyone wanting a great place to eat in Sin City.
My hisband would like bigger portions! Always good & service & staff were outstanding Sat. Night!
My husbands 50th birthday and it was perfect
Way to expensive for the food. Service was friendly but very slow.
Nice menu. Ribeye and pork chop both excellent. Really nice selection of vodka too.
We absolutely love the Red Square! Hit the ice bar for a vodka flight (Russian). Then surf and turf. Great food
Food (steaks) were great. risotto=no, mac/cheese=yes. We had a rather intense waiter (I cant think of another word) who forgot our Groupon (which makes these prices VERY fair) - didnt seem like an accident although it probably was -- pays to go through restaurant receipts line by line. Atmosphere=great.
