   The food is always delicious and so fresh. The service is wonderful, we just love going to the Red Slate!

   Excellent service in this rustic VT setting next to Magic Mountain. Awesome food and drinks. Very reasonable prices! We will be back. Looking forward to the winter months when it will be a little busier. I definitely recommend reservations since there is a limited number of tables in the dining room.

   We enjoy coming to Red Slate where we were greeted by our waitress, Kayla. We ordered our burgers and all were done to perfection. Vince does a great job in the kitchen we are never disappointed.

   We always love the Red Slate, our only complaint was the service was really slow. There was a young man serving us and he could not serve drinks and the bartender was very busy because there was quite a crowd at the bar. I felt bad for them because it seemed overwhelming.

Speed of service is a challenge for us more often than we would like , however, the night you dined had some added challenges including a surprise event that was a surprise to us as well.    What a lovely experience. We had a fresh salad with delicious blue cheese dressing and a perfect meal of fish and chips. The portions were large at a reasonable price. The waitstaff was friendly with an enjoyable atmosphere. I will definitely return.

   The atmosphere was relaxed and warm. Kayla,our server was excellent! I highly recommend the Maple wings. everything was delicious and at a reasonable price.
