Excellent food excellent service
I would recommend. Calimary was not good. Wife’s steak salad was burnt but they brought another. Everything else was fine
The lobster tail was tough and stringy- hard to eat. Veggies weren’t good, sauce wasn’t tasty and they weren’t tender.
My daughters strip steak was tough, but tasted ok.
They were out of creme brûlée , it was only 6!pm. Chocolate pudding wasn’t anything special, tasted like jello pudding.
Very disappointed in the meal.
Service was great, however.
Our server Bryann did a great job and she was very friendly. First time there, we really liked it!
I’ve eaten here before and had good experiences but today was definitely not it. Our appetizers came out 30 minutes after ordering it and our dinner 30 minutes after that. I had guests from out of town and I decided to them there but I really wish I hadn’t. We spoke to the manager who had nothing much to say other then she will take the kids meals off the bill for the wait. On top of that, the food was not appetizing at all - the steak and burgers had absolutely no flavor and the salads were frozen. I am pretty sure this will be my last time there.
For a “fine dining” restaurant, it was very mediocre. Our steaks were rather tough. This restaurant was subpar overall.
Best scallops and calamari I have ever eaten!!!!!!!!!
My favorite restaurant! The dining experience is always the best!
We had dinner there last evening. It is a bit of a drive from town however the food was outstanding & their wine list is top drawer. Definitely worth eating here for a change.
Excellent food and phenomenal service! We have been celebrating 9 years of anniversaries in this restaurant and look forward to many more years having it here!
We have been to this restaurant many times in the past and the food was always excellent along with the service. This time, while they were busy because of a concert that night, service was exceptionally slow... the waiter assigned to our table never came to us and we got a diferent server... he tried hard but was forever busy. The food was cold when it finally got to us, and they ran out of filets right after taking our order. The table next to us had to return the food as it was not prepared correctly, and by the time it got to them, they had to leave to make the concert (they were there in plenty of time but service was way too slow). We were seated at a small table so close to the next table we could have shared their conversation without trying. Overall, the service and food quality has gone way down hill. It will be awhile before we return.
Great meal. Server was on top of his game ascwell
Steaks were a little overcooked but delicious. Sauces fantastic. Sides could be better. Waiter inexperienced, in a hurry, didnt offer more cocktails until too late. Could have been given more attention. Waiter needs more training for such a high end reztaurant.
Amazing service and food.
Very tasty and enjoyable
We had the greatest waiter. We had the scallops and sea bass and they were both great
Kitchen was extremely slow—and they knew we had concert tickets!
Tried the NY strip and it was perfect! Big enough to split as we did. The farmers market salad with dressing on the side was perfect. My husband had the Caesar and thoroughly enjoyed it. Efficient service got us to our show in plenty of time. All great!
So, usually we split a ribeye but I was in the mood for scallops and they were excellent. My husband had a steak frites and enjoyed it. He started with the corn chowder and declared it good. I tried the farmers market salad with walnut oil dressing. Nice, but a little too much dressing. Service was very efficient and pleasant. Split a creamer brûlée as a finish...always good. Their coffee was better than normal too. Always worth a visit!
The quality of the food was excellent however all four dinners came out luke warm and this was after we waited over an hour. Restaurant wasn’t busy but the cooks just didn’t seem to have it together. When I’m spend 200plus on dinner I expect excellence. Our waiter was apologetic and his service was excellent.
Manager came over to apologize and offered us comps on dessert. Not happy with that aspect. When you are paying $50.00x2 for steak and another $35.00 on a smaller entree a comp on dessert does not suffice.
We have eaten here before and were actually excited to go again until our food came out cold. Who wants lukewarm steak and veggies?
Went for my wife's birthday, couldn't be more pleased. Service was very attentive. Bryann was great. The 'Red Sage Margaritas' are awesome. The managers both stopped by and wished my honey a very Happy Birthday, made her feel very special. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. The New York is hand cut and trimmed with just enough fat for flavor left on it. My wife doesn't like onions so she asked to have the mushroom sauce from the rib eye on her steak, they accommodated her easily, I was jealous when I tasted it. Very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back again soon.
Service was outstanding. There was fair number of open tables so the staff wasn't busy to say. The waitress timed our meal perfectly and kept our drinks full. The NY steak was good, but felt could have been more tender and little more flavor in the sauce/rub used. I think they cook seafood better than the steak based on the meals we got. Prices high being in Hotel, which only real issue I have with the place. Overall would go there again and recommend it.
Very nice. Highly recommend for a good meal. Staff was attentive and thoughtful.
The quality of good was good but the portions were small for what you pay. The service was very mediocre. I would not consider this an upscale restaurant.
This restaurant has every element to give guests a wonderful experience. Cozy, nice drink selection, decent menu options. Unfortunately the price for the food isn’t the only thing leaving a bad taste in your mouth. When I see a filet cut is 50$ my mouth waters, thinking I’ll get what I pay for. Unfortunately this was not the case. Tasteless. No seasoning whatsoever. The creamed spinach was all over the place and the potatoes were undercooked.
Very comfortable experience. Food was great, server was friendly.
Unfriendly greeting upon arrival. Arrived 5mins early for reservation, was told gruffly it would be at least 15 more minutes.
Screwed up 3 of 6 orders. Took 2hrs to be served all courses.
We had a delicious meal here. The shrimp/chorizo appetizer was excellent as was the strip steak & cooked to perfection. Only thing missing with the steak & mashed potatoes was a green vegetable such as asparagus, green beans et cetera,
Second time eating at Red Sage. Food was delicious again. Service was awesome.
We were disappointed in this occasion. Every step of the mean came with a significant wait, we sat near the kitchen and it was clear we were not the only ones. There was a significant lack of coordination. The food was great once it came out but wait was ridiculous. Generally we wouldn’t mind a long dinner but there was a lack of follow up so we were without drinks at times as well. We’ve enjoyed Red Sage in the past but we’re very disappointed this occasion.
The food is good but overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. Service was slow. waited a long time for mediocre dessert but waiter did comp it. White wine not chilled properly so had to wait 15 minutes until properly chilled in ice. Overall, ok but not great and certainly not fine dining. Given the high prices we expected better.
Awesome atmosphere, and service.
Very tasty food! But very expensive! You must be willing to splurge and indulge to enjoy!
Food and service for Valentines special dinner were great
Our Valentine's dinner was very nice. We enjoyed everything about it.
The Valentines day menu had plenty of choices, reasonable prices and was easy to understand. The service was top notch. Had a very nice evening !
Jose G. is an excellent waiter. We always look forward to seeing him at the Red Sage. The food was fantastic, as usual.
New menu which was flavorful! They need to work out the new menu kinks. Took over an hour to get our salads.
My husband and I ate dinner here for his birthday. Service was incredible (Efrain was our server), food was delicious and we had a great time.
Great way to celebrate long weekend! We both started with the mixed green salad and then ribeye steak. All perfectly prepared. We really enjoyed the sides: sautéed spinach and baked potatoes as well. Pleasant efficient service throughout. The pecan tart for dessert was a good ending. We always enjoy Red Sage and this was no exception.
We went to celebrate our anniversary but was very disappointed in our food. Service was good, but wife's dinner had to be sent back to kitchen and redone. She ordered a medium filet and it was served well done. Sent back steak and mashed potatoes to be recooked. All food was served cold in beginning. Restaurant was not at all crowded so had a difficult time understanding why food was not cooked correctly or served hot. Also would have thought that Manager would have taken a few dollars off bill for disappointing meal but didn't. May not celebrate any special occasions there again...…….tooooooo expensive for quality of food served. Told friends of our experience and they had same experience. New management and higher prices but less quality!
