Food was very good and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that my wife and I went for the evening to Buffalo Thunder to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Noted that on the reservation. Not a word was said about this on our arrival or any other time during the evening. Why ask "Is this a special occasion?" during the reservation process if nothing about it is acknowledged? Other places, it is usually mentioned when we arrive, mentioned by the wait staff, and many times something special to commemorate (i.e. special desert) was done. Other than that, as I mentioned, the food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber.

The restaurant is very beautiful. It’s very chic and has a low noise level for being inside a resort. When dining we were disappointed with our wine as the bottle was bad. We had to reorder drinks while our waitress seemed confused about what we meant by the bottle being bad. The food was also disappointing. We ordered a variety of appetizers and felt that they tasted frozen and were not worth the hefty price tag attached to them. I was not pleased with the experience and will not be going back. This restaurant used to be wonderful. I’m sad at how it’s gone down hill.

Service was not attentive. The server didn’t return often, could have used salt if he had returned. Bone in ribeye not well seasoned , very thin cut overcooked and needed the salt I would have asked for but no one checked. Food was below average for an onsite Hilton restaurant which is normally average. Classic old fashioned had great cherries but too sweet. The resort in general is struggling with help

We stayed 5 nights at Buffalo Thunder. Upon arriving our first day we went to Red Save at opening and requested a window seat. We were told that none were available and asked if we had a reservation. All of the tables were available but the hostess decided to stick us back in a dark corner. We decided to leave. Went downstairs to casino restaurant and had a drink and made a reservation for Red Sage. Went back and the place was STILL empty and we still did not get a window seat. What kind of service is that? The place was empty from opening time until several hours later. What a joke.

Apparently they don’t take care of reservations. Our reservation wasn’t ready - they said no table so we had to wait for quite a while. Then finally we got a table. The food was delicious

What a humiliating experience! I took my husband to the casino for his 50th birthday to dinner and a show. Our table wasn’t ready so we grabbed a drink at the bar. Once our table was ready we brought our drinks with us and sat down. We had barely touched our initial drink, but wanted to order a bottle to celebrate. Server said she can’t sell us a bottle but we could order 1 glass. We noticed she walked off and talked to other servers who then all started looking at us. I stupidly thought they were planning a treat for his birthday since I noted that on the reservation. Turns out she deemed my husband had glassy eyes and slurred speech so she refused to serve us a bottle! He had barely had half a drink at this point, and barely said a word to her in the half-minute she spent with us. We were completely taken by surprise, but to salvage the night, we stayed. She was absolutely rude and short through the entire meal, and we quietly sat there and watched how much nicer she was with every other table and asked if they needed anything, dessert, etc. even before we had finished our drinks she took them from the table and sat our bill down, didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or anything. We talked to the manager and while he was nice enough and apologized, the damage was done. Our nice birthday celebration turned out to be a humiliating and uncomfortable experience. Never before have we been profiled like that, and treated as such. Shame on her for judging us at all, never mind how completely wrong she was, and making us feel like we didn’t belong there. I hope the manager will take this seriously and correct the situation so nobody else has to be made to feel this way.

We ate there twice and the first time I had jumbo crab cakes and they were small and a bit dry, we also ordered the rib eye and it was maybe 1/2 an inch thick and no flavor. The second time I had the Cesar salad with grilled shrimp and it was fresh and delicious. We also ordered the Southwest salad and the chicken was not cooked properly ( raw and chewy). They did take a few dollars off for that ( not necessary but appreciated). The drinks were good. Also short staffed. We were very patient. But felt bad for the waiters.

The service was excellent. The presentation of the food was a piece of art. The food tasted great, even though they are a little bit pricey.

Love the food and service. We ordered the Tumbleweed salad, Ribeye and crab cake as appetizer. I will definitely order tumbleweed salad and ribeye again. Crab cake is ok. We also ordered Baker Alaska for dessert. It’s marshmallow whip that covers a large scoop of dulce de letche ice cream and a slice of cake on bottom. It’s so good!
