Atmosphere was incredible. We plan on going again. The fried chicken sandwich had a TON of paprika on it so don’t know if I’d recommend that dish. But everything else was amazing! Will return
A really nice place, with great food, cool ambiance and amazing fried chicken
Sat at outdoor table #25 as a party of two. Only tables of 4 had the luxury of having the heating lamp mounted above them. Other tables recieved service before us and needed the server to go back inside to get our correct drinks. Security did a wonderful job keeping the guys on the street who were hanging out from crossing the entrance. Every hot item we ordered was piping and much appreciated. Wished they had a veggie soup for the colder temperatures.
With Covid, temperatures were taken via wrists and hand sanitizer upon entry. Indoors and out the tables were spaced for social distancing. If sit down dining still scares you, order your food to go. It's delicious and worth it!

I have seen Chef Samuelsson on different shows and interviews and have always wanted to visit the Red Rooster. The ambiance, music, and service was great. The food was good, but would of like more options on the dinner menu. It was very limited however, the waiter, Michael made good suggestions that resulted in a tasty meal, even though the grill shrimp was a little salty. I have to say, the mac and cheese was amazing. I was a little thrown off by the rum chocolate cake. I though I was going to get a slice of cake, but ended up with a jar serving of more frosting than cake. I tried to dig deep to get the cake, but it became too challenging. I would go back and maybe try the brunch next.

Best fried chicken ever, collard greens, shrimp and grits ever! Service was amazing and the ambience was very relaxing. Although. the chairs could be better.
Red Rooster is highly recommended for any person to take their mate or friends to. The ambiance is amazing and the food is delectable at reasonable prices.
yes the menu changed and the food was flavorful, only the red velvet desert was not as tasty as it looked
Always a great place to dine! Food is great (love, love the cornbread especially!) Everyone is friendly and accommodating. I liked the fact that there were dividers between tables outside. But do put a divider for the end table to protect against the cold. Would go back in a heartbeat!!
The workers were very friendly & accommodating for my bro's bday, especially during these strange covid times.

Delicious food and very good COVID precautions. My boyfriend and I have been extremely cautious about going out to restaurants but Red Rooster has outdoor seating with heat lamps, plexiglass between tables, and they take everyone's temperature before entering. We were able to have a proper date night enjoying great food and drinks for the first time in months!

My boyfriend and I have a tradition to celebrate our birthdays together: My birthday is 11/04 and his is 11/10. This year was my turn to pick the location.
I live within a few blocks of the Harlem location. I pass by daily and I see the attendance. So we figured that we may as well see for ourselves. As I joked to him, if it sucks , we can go back to mine and order takeout lol.
We were utterly pleased with our meal and our drinks. We drank the frozen white peach margaritas, and opted for the burgers. One of my measures for a restaurant kitchen is to see how well they execute a medium well burger or steak. This chef did that burger right, people. And the bartender made us some of the smoothest margaritas we had ever had, flavorful and beautifully presented. The chocolate rum cake trifle was the perfect way to round up the meal ( thanks for the little birthday candle, that was sweet!).
So, yes. Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s team did him proud. They made us feel welcome and they fed us well. I speak for us both when I say, “Bet’ami Āmeseginalehu!/ Tack så mycket!”
The food was good but the guacamole could use a bit more flavor. There seemed to be only 2 servers which was NOT enough for the amount of customers there. The bus people helped out but is not the same as the server attending their tables. I had to ask the bus person for the server several times.
Lisa, we are terribly sorry to learn about the disappointing service you received at Red Rooster; this is not the type of visit we want for our guests. We believe efficient service is equally important as perfectly prepared food; we can only imagine your frustration not having your server readily available. Horrible. Food was tasteless. Staff was horrible. Server did not want to be there. Bartender was great though. I wish he was helping us all night

The only real misstep was the rum cake dessert. It didn't look like it was professionally made by a pastry chef and was virtually inedible.

A must: fried chicken tower + grits + Mac & greens + collard greens. Service went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We left with happy bellies & hearts!

It was very nice! Bc of covid it was dead but the place was great and the food and service was excellent.
Enjoyed the food, although the greens were a bit bland
Very covid-safe without sacrificing hospitality. Food was just as good as expected. Will definitely come back. My only complaint was that the restroom was not cleaned, probably from the night before.

Been wanting to go to Red Rooster for a while and me and my mother had an amazing time. Food was amazing, service was quick, and I was in love with the décor. the fried chicken was the best fried chicken id ever had. my expectations of this place was beyond exceeded. will definitely becoming back.

This restaurant is incredible, the food, the service and everything in between. We had the cornbread, chicken and waffles, salmon and Mac and cheese and enjoyed every bite. Thank you for the warm and highly enjoyable experience.
