   I loved every mouthful of food! I had the shrimp and grits as I listened to Harlem Sing. I was so glad that I made reservations, or I would have been standing in line with tears in my eyes unable to enter. This was my third visit to Red Rooster, and I plan to have many more!

   Some dishes were semi-warm. Spicy wings were yesterday's leftovers. Red wine was served after food was served with the delay of 15- 20 minutes. In general, food was not bad, but the way it was served did not cost the price we paid.

   Wow. I mean, wow. We had drinks--"Passion in Harlem" and "Harlem Stoner" to start at the bar (Rachel was AMAZING). Then we moved to the dining room where Misha (also AMAZING) allowed us time to enjoy the deviled eggs, followed by the yardbird chicken (divine), mac and greens, and the breakfast pasta. I can't express the joy we felt enjoying such wonderful food and music on a Saturday afternoon! Go. Now. What a decadent day <3

   My first time and it did not disappoint! Had heard from friends and watching cooking shows about Marcus’ restaurant and so glad I did. Catfish, Mac and greens and cornbread with a warm butter spread! Make it on your to do list!!

    It was my girlfriends birthday and they surprised her with an amazing dessert. One of the best restaurants I’ve had in my life. Would definitely go again.

    My first visit and my wife’s second visit. My teenage boys loved it too. Food was spectacular and the service impeccable. Super friendly and professional staff. Wings and crab cake were excellent as were the lobster roll, shrimp and grits, smash burger. Desserts all great too. Cocktails creative and unique. Will definitely return.

    Sat in the back and it was so dark on a beautiful day in NYC. Asked to sit outside but was told no even though it was half empty!

    Got the crab cake, collard greens, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese. Chicken was crispy and flavorful. Macaroni and cheese was gooey. Collard greens were a touch sweet for my taste, but still solid. Service was fine. The manager was nice and more attentive than the waiter and hostess. Volume was a bit loud bc of the DJ, but wasn't bad. All around a good choice.

    The food was excellent and the ambience was pleasant. The only problem I noted, as did my friend, is that the handheld devices the servers use diminish their capacity to be available to guests. Multiple servers were on the dining floor but focused on their devices and unavailable — they were distracted. And it diminished the dining experience. Repeatedly my server came to my table and then proceeded for a few minutes to navigate her device, standing by our table, placing us in a kind of pause or holding pattern which felt odd. She walked up and we expected her to interact. Instead, she asked us to wait a minute while she tapped away. I expect the handheld thing at a franchise sports bar restaurant kind of place, not Res Rooster. I’m sure it seems advanced and modern to conduct transactions at the table; however, it lowers the sense of having a singular experience. At the least, servers shouldn’t be posted up on the floor with their heads buried in their devices. Attentive service means being cognizant of your surroundings and tables assigned. The handhelds significantly harm the quality of service.

    Food portions were very small. Guacamole was literaly 2 small spoonfuls. Mac and cheese with greens were big noodles and hardly any collard greens... Chicken wings were tastey... Drinks were delicious...

    Happened to be in Harlem late on a Monday afternoon and took the chance to revisit Red Rooster. It was very hot outside, and the AC seemed to be struggling a bit inside. No fault there but I think it did affect the vibe a bit. Staff was great. The food was good+, just not great 5-star. The chicken was very good, but the breast was about the same size as the thigh. Prices are wacky everywhere right now so hard to judge against the market. It just seemed a bit expensive. Trying to give an honest review while also acknowledging how hard it is to work in and run restaurants right now. I love you all!

    The food was amazing and the service was great. Chicken and waffles, fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, the way I like it and, the chicken was amazing. The others that were dining with me had the spicy salmon bowl, lobster roll and, shrimp and grits, everyone was extremely happy with the food and service. Will definitely recommend Red Rooster.

    Oh my goodness!!! We had the absolute best time at Red Rooster. We come here each time we visit NYC. The fried chicken is phenomenal; the service and kindness was so appreciated; the ambiance/vibe was wonderful; and we just couldn’t imagine a better dining experience!! Our server (Tiara) was incredible: she stopped by to tell us how well behaved our kids were and secretly asked us about refills for them, which was so thoughtful. Travel as quickly as you can to this delicious and dreamy destination!!!

    Red Rooster Harlem was recommended by a friend for my weekend trip. I loved the live band and the food was absolutely amazing!!! Sabrina was a great server and made great recommendations for first timers. Definitely a gold star experience!
