   Enjoyed the food the Piccadilly, crab cakes, corn bread and wings were delicious and the Pink Lady Mocktail was delicious. The DJ 9am was awesome the music made the evening special. The only thing missing was a dance floor. Our waitresses provided great service. May only issue is the noise level. Very hard to hold a conversation

   Overall the food, drinks, and service all great. The food came out within minutes and was delicious. A bit pricey, but typical for NYC. Only complaint is that the music is so loud you can barely hear the person speaking next to you. It’s as loud and dark as a night club in there. I would give this place 5 stars if wasn’t for the ambience.

   EVERYTHING had lots of sugar in it. The corn bread, the greens, even the fried chicken coating. All way too sweet. They charge for a glass of water. With no ice. They charge $6 for a simple glass of unsweetened tea. With no free refills. We went out of our way to get to eat there and were and were highly disappointed. Will not go back.

    First time visiting Red Rooster. Won't be our last. We had an amazing dinner with great live music. Kudos to the staff and chef. Can't forget the bartender. Our cocktails were fantastic. We will be back with friends.

    Cannot say enough great things about our meal at Red Rooster. Live in Denver & was in town with family for the Nuggets/Knicks game and topped the day off with dinner in Harlem. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Fabulous!

    We have been wanting to visit here every since we saw Chef Marcus on TV during the pandemic. The work he was doing in the community really spoke to us. We said if we ever made it to Harlem, we would make sure to stop in. We were blessed enough to make it & it was worth it. We loved just how lively it was in there. We loved the decor, the service and most importantly the food. It felt like a big warm hug with each bite. We were going to a show or else we would have taken all of our leftovers :-).

    The waitress was really nice and fast. She got our order correct. There was not a long wait once we ordered the food which is a good thing when it comes to my family because we always go out to eat hungry.😂

    We’re traveling from California and are fans of Marcus Samuelsson. We’ve always wanted to try the Red Rooster. The cocktail was delicious and we appreciated the nice selection of thoughtful non-alcoholic beverages as well. The food did not disappoint and the portions were plentiful. I definitely would return on my next visit!

    Great place to visit. Prices are high but the food was high quality. We made a reservation and it was easy to do online. We were seated promptly and the hostess accomodated. Waitstaff was very nice, and helpful. Food was delicious. I would recommend.

    We pre-booked & arrived 15 mins prior. Staff were organised & we were soon seated & enjoying delicious tasty food - the fried chicken was delicious as were the mashed potato & sides we ordered. Singers were talented & enthusastic. A fun afternoon.

    What a great dining experience! Food and drinks were amazing - the chicken is life altering and my partner loved the salmon bowl. Front of the house staff was friendly and accommodating- special shout out to the manager on Saturday who kept everything running smoothly. Solid portions, great ambiance! I’d definitely come back the next time we are in NYC.

    Deviled eggs, cocktail (Yes, chef), catfish + beans were great; ceviche + chicken sandwich fairly average; service was attentive without being annoying (which i love!), and the DJ was awesome. Main complaint: drinks came out after the appetizers. Nevertheless, would recommend.

    Consistently good food and cocktails--but for a price! We were a late night table and the staff helped us feel comfortable to stay until we were done--we overstayed and shouldn't have, but they were cool about it! Always love coming here.

    Gospel brunch at the red rooster is the place to be on a Sunday... The food was OK.. Not amazing but the gospel singers were outstanding Also cocktails were fantastic too
