Gazpacho was among the best I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot as it’s my favorite. Waiter was aware of what did and didn’t have gluten which I always appreciate. Our kids loved the kids menu and the dessert sorbet.

Sad to say the experience at red rooster was one that didn’t meet our expectations. Our waiter tried awfully hard but really hasn’t been trained and should not have been put on the floor without proper training from management? He said it was his second day and apologized and we felt sorry for him, not his fault! The menu is just very limited on what your choices can be unless you are willing to experiment with weird off the norm foods? I eat at nice places a lot and never once have I eaten at a nice place that didn’t offer a filet mignon or rack of lamb or both? They did have a ribeye but we don’t like the fat of a ribeye steak? We did enjoy the Crab cake appetizer and wish we would have ordered a couple more of those for our meals! It was excellent! Bartenders did an excellent job and wine selection was spot on! Sorry but the chef needs to expand his menu in our opinion! We did eat at the sister restaurant Richardson tavern in the hotel with exactly same results except the service was excellent! Their menu needs help also!

We had a wonderful dinner. The food was wonderful from start to finish. From the Parker House rolls with maple butter to the butter lettuce salad with incredible dressing to the three onion soup, and the service was impeccable. I took off one star for the food because my dinner came well done and I had ordered medium, but the staff took care of everything and was going to provide another meal. In the end I was too full already and declined the replacement meal and we finished with a nice cup of tea. When the bill came they had credited the meal as well as our first round of drinks. As we are staying at the Inn we made a follow up reservation for tomorrow night and can’t wait!

Dinner was great. Our server Andres was exceptional. He’s always friendly, professional, & prompt. He’s very good at his job! We were happy to see new items on the menu. The pastrami pork ribs were delicious! Jon, the managers, hostess & staff were all friendly & nice to see. I appreciate the kind attentive service we receive. Very pleased. Thanks to all!

We had a lovely dinner on the outdoor porch. Sonia was a wonderful waitress. Always a special time at The Woodstock Inn.

A mundane soup and grilled cheese sandwich became a gourmet delight in the hands of the chef. Super yummy wow!! To top it off, our waitress wS equally fabulous. 11/10

We loved our cocktails, parker house rolls, salad (the dressing!), mushroom pasta, and desserts. Oz (sp?) was a wonderful server.

Food was overpriced. Service was poor. Had mussels with no bread. Too small dish for shells. Husband dish was splashed with too many veggies and hardly any fish. Will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. By the way…we are guests at the Inn for several nights. Sub par all around.
