Great Italian cooking-it is a gen
Second time here, not as impressed as the first time. It seemed like almost everything was drenched in olive oil. The brussels sprouts salad was oily. The fish special was not only oily, but the amount of olives in the topping overpowered the delicate fish. My suppli appetizer was good, my husband's lamb skewer appetizer was was tasty but barely seasoned. Bread continues to be outstanding, a dense interior and a crispy crust. A little pricey for a neighborhood restaurant, but certainly worth a visit.
Home made Pasta and chicken dishes were delicious!
The Red Room Cafe was an excellent choice to celebrate Mother's Day. The food was outstanding, fresh, and delicious. We ordered the fish special and could not have been more pleased. Although the prices are not cheap, the dinner was worth every penny. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want good quality food.
Consistently excellent. Delicious food and BYOB makes this our go to place. Bill is an amazing waiter and owner, Maria, is hands on ...always making sure everything is perfect!
Red Door Café has a varied menu with unique and interesting selections. The small restaurant is beautifully decorated with white tablecloths and red napkins. The staff was attentive but not overbearing. The food was delicious and presented beautifully, however the portions were small and salad was not included with our meal, and the prices were higher than other restaurants in the area. This is a good place for special occasions but not a place I would frequent on a regular basis.
Live Music Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Friendly staff. Very good food choices.
Food was only fair and somewhat overpriced
Was down for a golf weekend with friends. Excellent food. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
Our dinner was delicious , the menu is very nice . It was a very nice Saturday night dinner !!
We will definitely go back although my husbands veal was tough. He didn’t want to send it back. My friend and I enjoyed our meal. Owners very nice.
As good as ever. My son had the veal chop Francaise and loved it. Braccioli and gnocchi was wonderful. My wife had lamb chops that she thought were as good as she's ever had anywhere. A typical night at the Red Room.
Its a really is a fantastic BYOB. Friendly service, Great Chef, Excellent Menu and most importantly Great Food!
This was one of our best dining experiences in 2018. Everything was perfect - food, service, live music. We will be back!!!
Absolutely phenomenal, my favorite restaurant when I’m at the shore . The food is incredible , everything is delicious and authentic. The pasta is homemade! The staff and owners are wonderful, very friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this place . Any dinner, special event , or party, this should be your spot. Bonus points for having a liquor store right next door!
Server was somewhat rude and not very attentive. It was obvious that this is a place that dotes on “regulars.”
Meal was very good.
Fantastic as always !!! The brussell sprout salad, muscles, and eggplant parm in crock are positively the best. Our waiter Billy always guides us in the right direction with great service and many good suggestions. The singer was also a nice touch. Can't wait to return.
Went with another couple and we had a blast. BYOB.
Food was fantastic.
Portions are huge.
Delightful as always.
Have always loved the food at Red Room and have to give then kudos for Restaurant Week...we visited several other restaurants that skimped on their portions but not Red Room. They opened their menu and as always the food was delicious and the portions generous.
Red Room is nice for lunch or a family dinner if you are in the neighborhood. It is similar to a number of Italian restaurants in South Jersey in both variety and quality of the food offered.
Solid Italian food. Very small, intimate dining experience. Service was professional & friendly.
First time here for restaurant week and the food was bangin'!! Rice balls over chunky rosa sauce were so good as were the meatballs!! Pork chop off the hook!!
Maria &Jack treat you like family. Staff was wonderful and food was AMAZING!!!
Banzino fish is off the chain along with there fresh pasta. Also the milino salad .Food is great
nice place, food is good but, just average.
People, serving us were Very good and Polite.
May or may not have a return visit ??
Excellent food and great service. We went for a friends gathering and could not have been pleased with the entire afternoon
FOOD WAS VERY GOOD WE WENT FOR RESTAURANT WEEK LUNCH
ONE EXCEPTION - NO BREAD WITH THE MUSCLES? AND I PREFER SMALLER MUSCLES
EVERYTHING ELSE WAS VERY GOOD
ONE PARTY HAD SOMETHING ON A ROLL AND HE RAVED ABOUT THE BREAD - AGAIN
NO BREAD WITH THE MUSCLES!
We went to Red Room Cafe during AC Restaurant Week. The food was amazing! I love that their pasta is fresh and homemade. My husband ordered mussels for app and I can’t believe how fresh they are and cooked to perfection! This place is perfect for date nights. Although the table are so close to each other, I feel like the table next to us can hear the conversation between me and my husband. There was a group of 10 ladies who were sat next to us too. I just don’t think that the Red Room Cafe is an ideal place for group meetings like that.
A wonderful evening with friends. Food was wonderful and service was great.
Terrific food and accommodation couldn’t be better
The food and service at Red Room are always consistently excellent. The owners Jack ,Maria and their son the chef Vinny make you feel like family. Bill is the ultimate last of the great professional waiters. They aim to please - homemade pasta and bread, delicious food choices - a great neighborhood gem.
This was a last minute pick for girls get together that we were very happy about. It was byob( winning!) and everything on the menu looked fabulous. They had a special menu ( similar to restaurant week) for Valentine’s Day that included entree app and dessert that was priced just right. We all had something different and we were not disappointed. The waiter had great suggestions. ( the porkchop was as good as he said it was!). We will be back !
Very very impressed with the food, service and friendliness. I plan to become a regular
The food was good. It wasn't highly memorable, but it was good. While I liked the friendly atmosphere with the owner explaining the specials over and over, it became a little annoying. The service was weird...it was like people were there, but if I needed them, I'd have to signal them over rather than feeling like we were served properly...but maybe that's their style, and that's fine. BYOB is always nice, so for us that's a plus.
We had a fabulous time here for Valentine’s Day! The Antipasto and gnocchi are not to be missed. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming- bring your own bottle of wine, too! The food is 10/10!
I'll be back! Cozy BYOB with a friendly and attentive staff. Excellent apps (try the grilled octopus) and entrees (veal chop was excellent). Deserts were ok (walnut bread pudding could have been moister), but I'll give that the benefit of the doubt. Definitely worth the visit.
Food was excellent. It’s BYO and there is a Beer and Wine store right next store!
Food was good. Service was not. It seemed like there was only one waiter for the whole restaurant.
