Food was great as was the service. We mostly did salads though
Date night with the hubby. Excellent food and service as always!
Got there at a great time, so no wait. The service was great and the food very good.
In the past, Red Rocks has been a good experience but this last time wasn't the same. They got one entree ordered incorrectly with the kitchen and then the other entree was not accurate not just once, but twice. They did comp one of the entrees which was nice though.
This was not our first time. As usual the food was good. We had to be inside which is way too loud for us. There was no place outside.
I can never understand why the music has to be loud when everyone is just here to talk to each other. People end up talking louder and louder.
Great she-crab soup and mussels !
I usually quite enjoy myself at Red Rocks, but this time, the food was very disappointing, and the service - while fine - was nothing to write home about. I ordered the chicken medallions, and they were dry and bland. I requested BBQ sauce to moisten them up. The cauliflower/broccoli medley on the side was good (can't go too wrong with steamed vegetables), but after I left, I realized that one of the side dishes listed on the menu description (sweet potato bites) was left off. It's possible they may have been left off because I requested no butter , but no one ever mentioned the omission or its cause, so that's nothing but speculation.
We booked reservations for our anniversary. I was a little disappointed that no one acknowledged our special occasion. I made notes in the reservation. We also booked outdoor seating however, the space was booked for a private event. It would have been nice to have been contacted ahead of time. Thankfully our server was awesome! I will say that the restaurant should learn to work on the little things that make moments like these special.
Not very good tonight. Steamed veggies we're raw, burger was bland. Won't be back.
Ordered a filet on top of a blue cheese wedge salad. Best I ever had. Meat so tender and flavorful, while the wedge dressing was very creamy with crumbled added.
My server Sherrod was attentive and could read my needs. Great job and thanks.
One of my favorite places to eat. Not fancy but service is always excellent and the food good.
We enjoyed our lunch and we thought everything was fine, not bad and not great.
Noisey, disappointing and over priced. Seating problems due to large group.
Great place to dine! Awesome experience! Great, Friendly staff!
The service was good and light hearted and fun. The food was great and the ability to specially order something went great and turned out well.
My friend and I each had the Pittsburgh Salad with the London broil. It was awful, the meat was cooked to death and had this awful taste. I picked my meat out and ate the greens,, my friend only had a few bites. I mentioned to the waiter that the meat was awful, he said yeah I know, you should have chosen another type of steak (I can't remember the type). I was thinking , well then why did you tell us this?? He saw the picked out meat and did not offer an exchange. Frankly I was hoping you had changed your menu and it's the same old menu. Your fish prices are way too expensive for what you serve.
I have visited this restaurant several times and the steak isn't what I'd expect for the price I paid for my dinner. Much better value at Outback.
Fabulous! Fabulous! One of our favorite places. We had friends from out of town visiting and they also loved the atmosphere and vibe. Food was outstanding! Martinis were delicious! Thanks for a very outstanding meal and evening. Love the valet parking too!
We always enjoy red rocks… The calamari was excellent, the tuna was very tasty, the only drawback was the steak was a little tough
Also i had a table reservation when i arrived the party i was meeting was seated at the bar. needless to say the noise level was typical bar noise.( people having Fun and we could hardly hear each other. Food was ok!
We went to Red Rocks in Birkdale Village for our Wedding Anniversary last night. The restaurant is beautiful and very relaxing. I made our reservation through Open Table and the manager gave us a free appetizer, since he had read that we were celebrating our anniversary, at their restaurant. That was a special touch and quite appreciated by my family. The staff was efficient and knowledgeable and the food was delicious! We will definitely be returning in the future!
Great tasting hot food with knowledgeable efficient service.
The service was great. The manager was very attentive. I was there with 2 girlfriends and we did not feel rushed. The coconut cake is EXCELLENT!
I want to like this place. The atmosphere is lively, you can sit outside and the service is pretty good. When I arrived, the valet was nowhere to be found - I had to get out of my car and stand to ask a guy smoking a cigarette if there was a valet. He said I wasn't the first to ask, and that he thought so. Finally the valet came. Once seated, the service is fine but the food just isn't that great. We were impressed that our filet medallions, sauteed spinach and potato cake came out quickly, as well as the lobster ravioli and asparagus, but we weren't impressed with the taste. The filet wasn't the best quality (had stringy bits throughout), was cooked more than I asked for, and the spinach was bitter.. and it's one of my go-to sides everywhere I go! The potato cake was soggy - I was expecting a nice crisp crust. My date said her ravioli wasn't good, as she could hardly taste any seafood in it. The drinks were pretty good though - my Manhattan was made exactly the way I wanted it, and the drinks were strong and tasted great. If they got the food up to par with the local competition, this place couldn't be beat!
We had an excellent waiter. The seafood he recommended to my husband was excellent. Overall the food was great, especially the dessert. Have eaten here many times and will definitely be back. Thanks.
Awesome as usual ! Friendly staff, great dinner choices, atmosphere second to none, indoor or outdoor..
Red Rocks is not what it used to be - food was OK, but way overpriced for what you get.
For the prices they charge, the quality should be much higher, and they should at least provide some bread or a side salad as part of the meal.
I MISS THE SPECIALS
WAS DISAPPOINTED NOT BEING DONE
Everything was good until we received our check and I immediately discovered it was not our check. After finally getting a hold of our waitress and waiting about 10 min she tells us that someone else received our check and paid it and she needs to get a manager to straighten it out. After another 20 minutes and a bunch of group discussions we witness as well as my wife checking in on what going and being told rather rudely by the manager that it was being handled. 10 minutes later I am told the amount and asked for my credit card. No Apologies, no percent off the bill . Used to go here about once a month. Service has definitely suffered since it re-opened after the fire .
Absolutely wonderful service! The food is always great!
This was our first time and we very much enjoyed the experience. The food was very good and the atmosphere was nice.
It took 2.5 hours to get our order in, food ate (2 salads with water) and to finally receive our check.
We have been eating at Red Rocks for many years. This is the first meal we had that wasn’t up to par. 3 of the 4 people in our party ordered the grouper special. One of the groupers wasn’t cooked thoroughly and the manager graciously gave our friend and gift card for $25.00. The other 2grouper meals were tasteless to say the least. I never add salt to my meal, but without the addition of salt, the meal wasn’t worth eating. Of course the desserts were the highlight of the entire meal. So we weren’t disappointed with the chocolate cake and coconut cream cake. We will of course, give them another try. We like the location and I’m hoping this was just an off night for the chef.
Just too pushy.
Very good experience here. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The food was prepared well. I would definitely go back.
We came on a Restaurant week reervation and everything was great. We will definitely be back.
Was very disappointed. Not nearly as good as it used to be. Way over priced
Food was excellent. There is something for everyone
First time and it was very nice. Service was excellent. We had a waitstaff training and he was phenomenal
Went for restaurant week. Food was overpriced for the taste. Website said business casual but most had on shorts and jeans.
