Excellent all-around. Met up with three generations of family. Food, service and atmosphere were just what we needed for the first evening of our reunion. Of special mention was my entree of Mike Wallace's Almond Grouper! The sauce combined with the risotto was amazing!
Had a party of eight for grandson's birthday. Food, service and manager were attentive and made us feel totally at ease. Highly recommend!
Everything was great. It was a wonderful surprise that our birthday girl received a complimentary dessert. Thank you.
The service and food were great
Great food and service. Food was prepared exactly as requested and delivered timely. The wine selection was robust.
I go to red rocks often and unfortunately this experience wasn’t good. I usually get the lobster ravioli, this time I got the twin lobster tails with mashed potatoes. When my food arrived I noticed the lobster tails were very very pink, the looked very weird. I started eating the first of two, it was very salty and had a very different taste to it. I sent it back and paid for the one I eaten most of, it was small. I wasn’t asked if I wanted something else and the manager never came to the table to ask why I sent it back. I didn’t like the way this was under-handled especially because the restaurant was very empty as it was about 5:30 on a Sunday. Customer service is a big deal to me and this lack of customer service has me questioning any future return.
Always great food when we go here, high quality food and service!
Great place, great food great location!!!!!!!!!!!!
Started with a host opening the door for us and the experience never let down. Service was attentive, menu had lots of choices and the food was excellent! Lots of choices for dessert. We had peanut butter pie witch was yummy, but the others looked just as delicious. Fun to see that the NASCAR drivers, owners and wives names where part of the menu! Definitely would go there again!
Great date night dining experience and walking distance to plaza...
The food was under seasoned. We had an appetizer and four entrees and it was the same complaint. We ordered two desserts as well and they did not taste great.
Our first time here. We ate outside on a Sunday evening. Nice choices on the menu. Will return to try other items- and bring guests.
It would be great if they started carrying Coke Zero.
Love this place! The environment is relaxing and great scenery. The steak was just ok. I’ve defiantly had better
Matt our waiter was helpful in suggesting choices. He helped ensure my elderly parents were able to get appropriate portions on their plates. He kept our glasses topped off. Andcorivuded a second dressing serving when we seniors split a salad waiting on the young ones to show up. Great job.
I was my birthday an it was a great experience
Our server was an excellent young professional cheerful lady. Unfortunately the food quality was lacking. My husband didn't finish his salmon. I gave my meal a B as the lobster ravioli was great but the cream sauce and scallops were mediocre. Two members of our party had hamburgers and french fries and they said they were fishy smelling - oil? I don't know. Desserts were excellent!
The second time to Red Rocks Cafe it was awesome. The atmosphere and staff was perfect. Now I do must say that I wish they would have bread to eat while you wait on your food. I would definitely be back and recommend my friends to stop by and eat
Birthday dinner with family
The food was good. I ordered a small glass of wine but the server brought the larger glass. She let me know her mistake but asked if I wanted her to charge the lower price or leave it. Very awkward and inappropriate. Would’ve been nice if she simply acknowledged, apologized and assured me, the customer, would only be charged for what I ordered and not feel obligated to pay for her mistakes. She also got my vegetarian daughter in laws order wrong and brought her pasta with meat. The man who served it took care of it right away though.
Steaks were all overcooked. Heard the same from the table next door as well.
Outdoor seating on sunny or cool days is simply perfect. Food is very good all across this extensive menu. It’s not overly fancy but priced right. Staff and manager are trying hard to get you to come back, good service throughout. Valet parking is nice feature at night when this Village/shopping district is busy. Five layer chocolate cake is amazing. Portions are very well sized to get you full but not stuffed. Bar section is fun. Sunday Brunch menu is small but invludes all you usually would order in a Brunch. Great location and great for casual and fancy occasions.
The food is always amazing and the service exceptional. I rarely eat red meat and I always order their ribs!!! The desserts are always fresh and delicious.
As always, our dining experience was superb. The food choices were excellent, and were well prepared and delicious. The wait staff was courteous and thoughtful. The hostesses were professional and warm.
The covered patio is an ideal venue in contrast to the dark interior. Service and food are top-notch.
Overall nice night
We dined outside to escape the noise. Service was average and 1 meal of 5 was missed and arrived 15 minutes late. Food was just average. Doubt we will go back.
Good food and great service
Everyone was very gracious; however, my Pittsburgh Salad was disappointing ( especially having growing near Pittsburgh. The flank steak was almost inedible. The waitress noticed that I didn’t eat it and asked about. The salad and fries were very good. The entree was comped.
Terrific food perfect service
We had great food and an amazing server. I believe her name was Kristen.
Service was alright. Appetizers were pretty good. The entrees were both disappointing. Chicken saltimbocca was undercooked and floury (it almost tasted like it was coated in wallpaper paste). Angel hair pasta was mushy and bland. Vegetables were unseasoned. Lobster ravioli was bland, but my husband was hungry so he ate it. Server came over, asked if I wanted my meal wrapped (I’d taken about two bites of chicken) and when I told her no, took my plate and never inquired if anything was wrong with my meal. It was loud and she was busy so I didn’t press further. We had a gift card so I didn’t make a fuss but I left hungry and disappointed. The atmosphere was nice enough, loud but tolerable. We visit Birkdale Village at least twice a month and usually over look Red Rocks, and we will probably continue to do so unfortunately.
Excellent restaurant in Birkdale Village. We sat on the patio and it was very pleasant. The food and service was excellent.
Wonderful dining experience. Great server who was attentive and not intrusive.
I really love this really by the quick service you receive soon as you walk into the restaurant. What surprised me they open the doors for you as you enter. You think of high class and they make you feel like. You guys will have my business always. Keep up the good work.
Great dining experience! Waitress acknowledged our engagement and brought out champagne for a toast at the end of our meal. Enjoyed the Queen’s Feast meal options - starter, entree, & dessert! Delicious food!!
Surprise Birthday party for my wife. RedRocks has been our favorite place for special occasions as well as our “go-to” when we want to enjoy a special night out.
Provide a near-kitchen seat while enough vacant seat available. After meal my clothes become bad smelling because the smoke from kitchen.:(
The food was cooked perfectly and we enjoyed the outdoor seating.
