We had the guacamole, top shelf margaritas, blackened shrimp tacos, gringo (beef) taco and the chicken enchilada plate.
The beef taco was pretty bland.
The margaritas and guacamole were good not outstanding.
The blackened shrimp tacos and chicken enchilada plate were terrific.
Great food. Definitely a place for a younger crowd. VERY loud inside. We sat on the patio and it was chilly...the heater near us was broken. Otherwise, enjoyed it. We will go back when it’s warmer and can sit outside comfortably.
Ambiance: Didn’t realize they would allow smoking on the patio; great way to ruin a nice weather evening.
Bathrooms: Location only has one stall for men and women which made the bathroom trip time seemingly unreasonable for how large the restaurant is.
Music: Even though we were seated on the patio, walking to and from the host stand and bathroom, raised commentary from both myself and my wife about the music volume. If we had been inside we wouldn’t not have been able to talk to each other.
Food: Nachos were decent.
Parking: I know they’ve got a small lot, but in general I dislike being forced to valet.
All in all, I think we’d probably only come back if we had a hankering for tacos/nachos and everything else nearby was booked solid.
I love their tacos but I every time I've ever gone they have the WORST service. Their music is so loud that it is impossible to have a conversation without leaning across the table to hear the other people in your party. Also, legitimately the most disgusting bloody mary I've ever had. They didn't offer to take it off my bill and charged me for it even though I couldn't drink it.
this place is really not kid friendly due to the bottomless mimosa on the weekends tends to get really loud and ppl are really drunk extremely early
Great food, service and setting.
A bit overpriced for such small portions but the food is good
I enjoyed tasting all the (homemade) hot sauces , actually purchased one.
AND THE DRINKS WERE 😩👌🏾👍🏾 only needed one.
This was my third or fouth time at Red Pepper. It is a solid place for Mexican food. Their queso is awesome, and I really like their skinny margarita. I usually get the shrimp quesadilla, which comes with rice, and it is also really good. My main pet peeve is that there is no self parking, valet only. I never have cash so this usually involves a trip to the ATM on the way. It's also usually very loud.
Nice neighborhood restaurant
Cold night in Atlanta. Most everything was closed. This restaurant was just what the doctor ordered. Great drinks and foods. Wonderful service. Bravo!
While I'm not a big fan of doing business on Christmas Day, my wife and I were traveling and needed some place to eat. Thank you for giving us room at the inn, so to speak, not to mention delicious food!
Great food! Wonderful guacamole and shrimp tacos !
Great food and friendly people
Mexican food at its best
Food was great. Flavorful with the right amount of kick. Delicious.
My waiter, Kaiser, was solid and the manager, Ali, was sharp and attentive.
My experience makes me want to come back and bring a friend!
Good food, nice atmosphere, impeccable service! Chef Mimmo and his team do a wonderful job. Will be returning.
Great experience. We in the outside covered area.
I never write reviews, but felt compelled to do so this time because of the absolutely inexcusable service we received. The waiter was essentially nonexistent. No exaggeration that we waited at our table for an extra 45 mins just to pay the bill. We eventually just got up to talk to the hostess who then said "wow look your waiter is even coming back to personally hand you the bill". Personally hand us the bill, as if that was special? I thought that was normal protocol. So bad.
Christian was an awesome server giving us insightful recommendations on food and wine selection!
We love this place. The brunch menu is outstanding and the tacos on the regular menu are great.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. As always.
Delicious food and lively atmosphere! It's nice to find menu options that are creative yet affordable! I'm so happy we stumbled upon this place on our recent trip to Atlanta!
Started our Girls Night Out at Red Pepper. Our party grew from our reserved party of 6 to 9 over a hour and the staff accommodated us without any issue. Our server was slow at taking our drink orders and bringing our drinks, but other than that everything else was great. I frequent this restaurant for brunch or a quick drink, but this was my first time reserving a table.
It was alright. My tacos were pretty minimal when it came to the fillings. Last time I was here, they packed on the fillings but this time it was way more tortilla than meat. It's pretty hit or miss. I guess it just depends on who's cooking or managing.
Chicken was undercooked and server was terrible...
The wife had the taquitos, very good. I had the triple play fajitas, really good but not enough onions in the mini skillet and too much zucchini /squash. Awesome bloody mary. That's it.
Food was delicious. Server must have been new or something
not impress, we pass by and see people seating outside so we decide to give it a try nothing about it will draw me back there again...
Brunch options were mediocre at best, but it seemed like a fun place to come back for just drinks and apps on the patio. The non-brunch menus items we tried (tacos) were not bad. The various mimosa options were pretty good, but the Bloody Mary was undrinkable and had to be sent back.
Service is usually so much better, we could hardly get our waitress to acknowledge us today and when she did she kept forgetting things. I was brought a drink in a dirty glass that I had to return, had to ask for sour cream 3 times to go on my tacos and by the time I got it my tacos were cold, needless to say it was a frustrating experience today
The best chicken taquitos I have ever had. All our food was excellent! Which Came First, Shrimp and Grits with Chorizo, The Cubano and the Chicken Burrito. The Habanero Guacamole was terrific! A great brunch menu. Just remember the bottomless Mimosas can't be served before 12:30p on Sundays due to Georgia Law so there is that! Not their fault the brunch bill has not been passed.
We were not that impressed. We met some friends here for Sunday brunch. The service was fine. Our waitress was on top of things and kept the bottomless mimosas bottomless. The food was not that great. I had the Chilaquiles Fiesta. The Bloody Mary was not mixed at all. It was very loud and just not my scene anymore. Maybe I was too sober... May be more appropriate for 20 somethings.
Hostess was very rude and needs improvement, but our server and other wait staff were great!
Definitely a bar atmosphere. Very loud and everyone was under the age of 30.
The bottomless mimosas barely have any champagne in them and are so sugary. Our server was awful, beyond slow, not terribly friendly, and probably needs to find a new profession.
It was kind of annoying to have a $15 bottomless mimosa special advertised, only to find out it's $3 extra for the flavored ones. Also, the flavor appeared to be syrup instead of juice, which was a little disappointing. We also had the grumpiest server in the place. It was okay, but not my favorite brunch spot. It was also really noisy.
Fun spot, mimosas aren't very strong though
The food was excellent but the service was slow.
Bottomless Mimosas were great, food was okay. Service was slow until we finally got a server then they were back and forth for refills almost every 5 minutes on the dot. Would recommend for a boozy brunch. We had 7 people and they were able to accommodate easily. Valet service was very handy as well.
Brunch is a great value w bottomless drinks.
Food was good as well.
Fun spot to go with friends for good mexican and strong margs! Just went for brunch and they had $15 bottomless mimosas on top of a yummy brunch menu. The waitresses were very attentive and fast with topping off our mimosas, so we definitely got our money's worth!
