This was my first time here and it was the best sushi I have ever had! The service was great and I would highly recommend this restaurant!!
Food was delicious !
It was my best friends birthday party! So much fun, we will be back.
Great food and service! Our waitress was very helpful with the menu and super friendly! We sat at the bar before our reservation and the bar staff was great as well!
My friends and I made a reservation on Friday night for 8:40 pm. I was worried because we showed up around 9 pm and I didn't know if they would still have a table. Believe it or not the minute we gave our name the hostess said " Welcome we've been waiting for you" I LOVED that. We were seated right away and our server came by to grab our drink orders. We had edamame for an app and got sushi for dinner. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice date night or girls night out. At around 10 pm the servers removed the tables in the middle of the restaurant and it turned into a dance area. We had lots of fun.
Food was good, and the space was awesome, but we had a reservation and they made us wait over 30 min past our reserved time for our table. There was another one available but they did not even try to accommodate. The food and the price of food was not worth the wait!
The maki rolls were delicious! Our drinks were good, the atmosphere is awesome. Can’t wait to return.
Everything was good except the waiter. Mistake after mistake. It seems as if he was not really paying attention and had no experience with tasting the food but other than that...it was amazing :)
The most horrible dinner experience
Great decor and good drinks and food.
The food was good. If you plan to go on a Saturday night it will be super loud but the music is good. Overall I enjoyed myself.
Very good sushi and awesome atmosphere! Can’t wait to go again
Great gourmet Asian food in a beautiful, artful environment. My only concern was the music level is very loud, but the memorable and super tasty food more than made up for it. I had a delicious Sinapore street noodle dish, the best dumplings I've had in a long time, and sumptuous desserts that were deliciously memorable. My colleagues had whole duck, lobster salad, and delicious lobster rangoon. It's steps away from a parking garage and the Lyric Stage Company, making it perfect for a simple, artful, and tasty night out.
Interesting food, good service. Too loud for dining. Difficult to have conversation when seated at tables.Music okay if you are interested only in bar scene.
Very impressed with the gluten free options, and the knowledge of the waitress on gluten free items. I'll definitely be back!
The place is really not that great. Food is flat and definitely not well presented. Service is even worse with waiters who disappear and are not very professional. Totally disappointing.
Red Lantern raises the bar when it comes fantastic food! Everything came out perfectly., Presentation is incredible. Every dish has its own unique set of flavors along with phenominal sauces. Ordered almost every appetizer this visit and must say I cannot pick a favorite. They are all that GOOD!!
Great spot love the decor hate the couch sitting hard to eat on those table can’t stretch or extend ur legs I was having cramps, other wise food is amazing music is good management checks on u and emptieds table our waitress sucked she came around when we were don’t or already taking care off . Parking is horrible we park off the street over got a parking ticket 40$ but the food was worth it
Love this place! Brought my friend here for the first time and he absolutely loved it as well. Great service, amazing food, would recommend to anyone!
From the sleepy host to the disappearing waiter, it was frustrating to dine at Red Lantern. Seems they forget that they’re selling some of the most expensive Chinese food in the city. The meal lasted over 1.5 hours for two people, 45 min longer than it needed to be, but we waited. For everything. To place a drink order, to place our food order, for water, for chop sticks, and for our check. Finally took the check to the same sleepy host and asked that he wake up and help us by processing payment so we could just leave.
When the waiter did appear, it was to mess things up - taking plates as we were literally still eating from them, taking utensils and not returning with clean ones, and overall creating the vibe that he was too cool for his job and we were a nuisance.
Perhaps this explains why we secured a reservation at a prime time and the cavernous dining room was nearly empty. It used to be much better.
Much better service at almost every other place I’ve fined in the city of Boston, regardless of cost.
