Very long wait times for food. No substitutions for anything allowed. Many better places for brunch in the city.

Wow a blast from my old home of North Jersey. Trying to decide if I wanted to go with the spaghetti and meat ball or the jersey favorite pork roll. Went for the seaside stack which was incredible, french toast, pork roll, provolone and a pair of eggs. Great tasting and truly filling. I was quite content until the guy at the next table had his food delivered, spaghetti and meatball. It looked so good I was instantly jealous! We will be back soon, guess what I will order this time?

I had a party of 6 and we enjoyed every meal we ordered. The waiter was outstanding and he suggested many options. Although I have to say there was the hostess who was not friendly at all.

Disappointing! Expensive and food was very average. We have been 3 times before and each time is less impressive. This place is slipping, I hope the bad review will help get them back on track. We will not be going back.

The menu is creative and the food is delicious (the red gravy and the meatballs are truly awesome). Small, cozy, friendly, wonderful service. The owner/chef is warm, personable and always makes you feel welcome and appreciated. My wife and I have been here many times over the years, and we consider Red Gravy one of our favorites for Italian style cooking in a city known for great restaurants.

Amazing food, as always. The waitress got a little mouthy, but one of our friends was irritated by the no split checks policy since the menu stated they would... so it was a fair fight on both ends and they made up by the end of the meal. Will never go to New Orleans without going to red gravy for brunch. Never disappoints.

Every time we visit NOLA, Red Gravy is a must. Each time we have brought different friends with us for Sunday brunch and they love it as much as we do. Can't wait until we can visit again!
The bread is always so fresh and the drinks are the best! The Cinnamon Toast Crunch Martini was no longer on the menu, but the "intoxicologist" made it for us. 5 Stars from us!

Red Gravy was the best brunch I've ever had. The food is inventive and delicious. The meatball omelette was easily the best omelette I've ever eaten. I'm often disappointed with brunches due to the idea of paying $10-$15 for a mediocre egg dish that I could make at home. Red Gravy takes brunch to an entirely different level, and it is well worth the trip. I cannot recommend it enough!

Went to Red Gravy for Easter Brunch and was very pleased with the quality of food. The skillet with bacon, crunchy peanut butter and Jelly was outstanding and something I would highly recommend if you are looking "something completely different".

We went here for breakfast while visiting New Orleans. There weren't many options for a person not a fan of most breakfast foods. I opted for the baguette with goat cheese, mushrooms and spinach which I enjoyed. Just wish there were a few more egg-less options since I wasn't in the mood for meatballs for breakfast.

Always a wonderful experience. If you love Italian red gravy, you won't be disappointed. Even if you order one of the other creative and tasty dishes, treat yourself to a side order meatball with red gravy. A small, cozy setting with energetic and fun-loving wait staff. The Executive Chef/Owner will often spend time in the dining room visiting with you.

A really great little restaurant for breakfast. Start with an appetizer of their meatballs and red gravy as a testament to their name sake. The omelet with Italian sausage and peppers was sublime. Service was polite and efficient. Make reservation in advance because they fill up fast on high demand days.

If you are visiting or live in NOLA, Red Gravy is a must for your restaurant list. Order the meatballs no matter what else you are getting...THE BEST. The Chef is always inventive with seasonal/local ingredients. Everything is delicious. The wait staff is so friendly and take great care of you. I highly recommend Red Gravy.

I found the food very good, but somewhat overpriced, and $9.75 for a mimosa. Perhaps this is the going rate, not sure.

The service was phenomenal, as was the food. I asked for recommendations, and my server was spot on. She said she'd been working breakfast places 30 years, and the brown butter pancakes were like none other. She was right! "Lou's Breakfast" hit the spot.
