Incredible in every way. Most notable is the quality and preparation of the food. Bravo to the chef, kitchen crew and the waitstaff! Well done.
Very good meal with friends
Great dinner at Red Fish — we both really enjoyed our spring roll appetizers and seafood entrees. Great wine list further enhanced by huge variety of bottle selections available in their retail wine cellar. Our server was friendly, knowlegable and extremely helpful. Highly recommended!
My husband and I came here for a romantic evening and were not disappointed. We shared the calamari appetizer, he ordered the pork chop and added grits, and I had lobster tail and filet mignon. The food was excellent. Service was great. Price is as expected but well worth it. The venue itself is a bit noisy, but we were seated at a table instead of a booth, which I'm sure would make a difference. Overall it was an incredible dining experience. Highly recommend for a date or special occasion.
Went to Red Fish again after past visits. Had a good meal for my wife's birthday. We are from NC and when we are in the area we try to eat at Red Fish.
We have been eating at this restaurant for many years. Red Fish always has great food with new and exciting specials every time we go. It is always special to dine here.
Great food, great atmosphere. Great wine selection.
Enjoyed our dinner very much. Food and service was outstanding.
Our favorite island restaurant exceeded our expectations! We dined there on Valentine's Day not really because of the holiday but because we so enjoy the John Bracken Trio which plays there Wednesdays. You would expect something to be lacking when out on a holiday but not here. The food, service, everything was somehow the best ever. This is a place you can go and never be disappointed. I had the scallops and lobster mac n cheese, my husband had the strip steak. Yum!
Great food. Good service. We always make time for dinner at Red Fish when we visit Hilton Head. Haven’t been disappointed yet!
The service was good but the food was not what we had come to expect at Red Fish. We had the shrimp & grits which the recipe has changed. The new recipe is OK but not even close to the old recipe.
Great dining experience. Scallops were great and the lobster Mac and cheese divine. Lynne had the Alaskian halibut it was excellent also. After dinner drinks were superb and wine was delicious. Recommend to anyone who loves seafood and fine dining.
My reservation mentioned my birthday and we were treated to a wonderful coconut cake. Other options sounded goo, too. Thank you.
great food, reasonabe price
This restaurant was expensive and pretentious. They say they have a 'notable wine list' - but that is untrue.
The portion sizes are minuscule and not very noteworthy - not fine dining for sure.
Plates come immediately and are whisked before you even finish your meal!!!! I felt like they were trying to get us out of there. Servers are rude.
Not a place I would recommend or come back to.
Four of us had an early dinner here while we were visiting Hilton Head. We all ordered off the early bird menu. It was a great value and included soup or salad and a glass of wine. My husband loved the shrimp and grits, but noted it definitely needed more spice. I had the salmon which was just ok. It was well cooked but very bland, as were the vegetables and mashed potatoes. The salads were very basic. For any early bird special it wasn’t the best meal we’ve had. Everything needed seasoning.
Our server Kelsie was great! She was very pleasant and made very good recommendations.
Great as always!
