BBQ Oysters Poboy & Shrimp Poboy outstanding
The service was great; the food was delicious and it was a fun, albeit a very loud atmosphere. Jay, our server was terrific and Ike Jackson.... now he’s an entertainer!!!!
Our server Jasmine was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the food. Made excellent recommendations. She really made it a great night for us
Great service, food, and vibe.
Everything was absolutely great! Service was especially attentive.
Great gulf sea food, a fun vibe. Reasonable priced with efficient service
Food was okay. Prices were twice what should have been for the quality and portion size. I can pay $6 more per dish at Antoine's for a far superior experience and not be left hungry. We will not be back.
I love the feel of this place. Great local food and good beer selection. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly.
Great family friendly restaurant. Amazing food. Awesome service. Make reservations
I’ve been to this restaurant several times and the food was enjoyable as usual but the overall experience was ruined by the terrible service. The Waiter was arrogant and lacked common service experience. He had no clue on how to wait tables and lacked basic customer service skills. The waiter spilled a rich sauce on my jacket and wouldn’t take responsibility. Management expected me to arrange for cleaning and send them the bill. The least they could have done was discounted a portion of our meal for the incident.
My entire party (6) echo the same opinion with regards to the service on March 17, 2018.
Dinner was good, although the signature fried oysters with Crystal hot sauce and blue cheese are presented unimaginatively and really just not that good. I expected to see three items on the menu for my group, but none are offered - chargrilled oysters, blackened redfish, and red beans and rice. I thought the signature grilled redfish dish and the filet were delicious.
Entire evening was very enjoyable only thing it is a bit noisy hard to hear others across table
Food and service excellent
Good food served hot and fresh. Busy atmosphere in the French Quarter.
Smoked red fish dip should be called a "spread" and was big enough for a meal or for sharing.
Great location, ambiance and service but the food just sucks. No flavor and dripping in oil. Stay away from the BBQ oysters. They are deep fried and taste like bad chicken with no oyster taste. I had the fried red fish. Zero flavor, dripping in oil and fish was stale. Kids had the burger with fries and did not even touch the fries. It smelled and was dripping in oil. Service was very good. Location was fantastic and menus were well printed compared to the rest of Bourbon street. But it is all a sham. Worst $220 I ever spent. McDonalds has more flavor than this.
New favorite restaurant in the Quarter.
Outstanding wait staff (Francis & CJ); manager Richard’s meet & greet appreciated.
Recommend bbq oysters, smoked redfish dip, redfish w/ponzu sauce, fried green tomatoes w/crawfish tails.
Coffee & bread pudding were a great finish
CJ was the best waiter. Very entertaining and knowledgeable of menu items.
James and Brad were very nice to us in the bar. Brad took our picture. Ashleigh was a great waitress. She answered all of our questions about the menu and made great suggestions.
friendly service and good food. would visit again
The seafood was great. The service was on believable. Our servers recommendations, attention, and promptness were wonderful.
We had oysters that were cooked in two different ways.
Both were great!
Beef stakes were also good.
Awesome food. Noisy restaurant. Service was friendly and courteous, but a bit slow.
Great service, friendly, nice menu selection
Great se vice. Red fish was tasty and Moscow mules were the BEST ever!
Wow! So glad we tried this restaurant! Food was exceptional, grilled red fish and grilled whole fish. Dessert was great too, plenty for sharing. Our server, Ike, was among the best we’ve ever had anywhere. Will definitely return next time we’re in NOLA.
The food was outstanding, but more importantly the staff was so nice!! From the moment we stepped in, until the time we left, we received first classs service.
My husband caught some red fish and sheepshead that morning, so we took them to Red Fish Grill for their "catch and cook." The chef came out and talked to us about how they would be prepared - including ceviche, fried and grilled. All were delicious. We also had a great selection of sides and fresh bread. Cocktails, oysters and gumbo were great. We were too stuffed for dessert but they looked delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend. Get reservations - the place was packed!
The food was good, our waiter, Frank, was excellent, but my credit card got hacked and an illegal purchase made after I used it to pay there. My fellow diners did not have any problems after using their credit cards there.
As always- it was a great experience! Make sure to ask for Ike - he’s the best waiter in the country!!!!
Service was outstanding as was the food. The whole fried redfish is fantastic and enough for three!
Great as always!
I highly recommend. Great Food at a reasonable price. Great service. they were very busy was able to get a reservation using Open Table App. would visit again
Wonderful food! Seafood is fabulous! Good atmosphere. Fun and delicious!
Our lunch was fantastic with great recommendations from waiter. Wine list excellent at reasonable prices. Fortunately, it wasn't crowded yet (early lunch) but the cavernous space would make it more noisy when the place is full.
First time visitor and had a wonderful meal and exceptional service. The grilled red fish and shrimp was particularly good.
I brought my wife to your "award winning" restaurant on Tuesday night (3/6) for the first time. She enjoyed her Red Fish while my catfish was RAW. The only way fried catfish could be raw is if it is put in the fryer frozen!! Award winning? Seriously? And I wasn't even comped for the meal until I blew up. As soon as the waitress was told about the problem, the manager should have come to the table, apologized and said, "We are so sorry. To show you how sorry we are, we are prepared to make you a new dinner of you choice of anything on the menu and we will comp your entire bill!!" But that did not happen. Instead, we departed with not only a bad taste in our mouth, but a bad recommendation to anyone interested in our opinion of your restaurant.
We were disappointed.
The service nice, but the food wasn't what we expected.
We’ve eaten In NOLA for years and thought we try them.
Shrimp were fair, risotto was cold, soup special of the day was mostly broth.
It certainly was special.
Maybe Commanders will be better.
Great lunch. Food was fresh and delicious. The catfish and shrimp etouffee was over the top. Lunch drink specials were also a nice touch. Service was great.
Wonderful atmosphere, superb wait staff ( They) and excellent food. We will be back!
Our waitress was FANTASTIC she took care of everything we needed, brought our food very quickly, and even recommended an amazing dessert!
The peanut butter chocolate bread pudding is an absolute must. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had
