Gumbo and BBQ Crab claws were terrific, as was server Kevin, who was attentive but not intrusive.

Wait staff extremely attentive and helpful. Chocolate bread pudding was fun for children. Was surprised, however, by the very limited lunch menu on a Sunday.

Food was just mediocre. This place is terribly loud, impossible to have a conversation. We were served food before our bar drinks ever reached the table. Server mostly ignored us. I would never go back.

Fantastic food and service as always. Redish Grill is our go to place for dinner before each Seanger Broadway play that we attend.

Great food and great service! I had the blackened redfish over stewed okra and it was absolutely delicious! I also highly recommend their double-chocolate bread pudding.

Food served very fresh. Some dishes very inventive. Good service. Managers greetings were forced. Not genuine. Waitstaff good. Very very loud

Great Food. Server seemed a bit too preoccupied and seem to take his job for granted. Overall, the atmosphere was nice and if we return to New Orleans, we would probably come back to try different dishes and would certainly have a different server.

Red Fish Grill is a great place to eat reasonable-sized portions at New Orleans-reasonable prices (mid-$20’s and up for entrees). My cocktail was delicious, and my entree (blackened tuna bowl) was tasty and not too large. We ordered the horseradish mashed potatoes and they were delightful. The ambiance was energetic; you could laugh out loud and not draw any attention, which is my kind of place!

We love Red fish before our broadway show outings and we celebrate each other’s birthdays along the way. However we were disappointed with the shrimp and grits recipe you now use. Please consider going back to the old recipe.

Lunch was very good. Oysters on the half shell and barbecued. My wife had a po-boy after having a spice issue with her first choice. Service was first rate and changed her order without question and kept returning to see if things were handled. Everything was done well. We would go back for sure.

Great food and service! 10/10 would recommend to all. Everything we had was great, and open table made it really easy to get reservations. Made them 15 minutes before we got there and still got seated quickly on a crowded evening.

I made reservations for 9PM & we arrived 10min prior. We were seated 30min after. On a Friday night you’re probably better off making reservations 30min prior than you really want. Food was good, service mediocre, place was packed.

Amazing food. The alligator meatballs were memorable. The only downside was that our waiter would insist us to order alcoholic beverages or get desserts. Over and over again. Made us think that he worked on commission. A minor detail if you consider the quality of their food.

We were seated at the time of our reservation, no waiting. The BBQ oysters were so tiny (no oyster in it) that the manager had to come over and apologize and bring a new plate. We waited 40 minutes for our entrees. Two of our group (5 people) hd to send back the fish as it was so overdone that it was inedible. Have been here many times in the past and will never go back again.

The food is good as always and yet the service was unusually bad. Asked the waiter specifically if the red fish with okra can be prepared without bacon and was told yes and then when the meal was delivered it was red fish WITHOUT ANY OKRA. Definitely not happy and food cane out late and little cold.

New to the French Quarter and this place came highly recommended. I absolutely need to share and do the same to all who are looking for a spot to dine in the FQ. Mixed drinks were fabulous and the meals that followed were excellent. Must haves, the buffalo oysters, the signature red fish entree and the tuna bowl. Neither of those dishes will disappoint.

I was in town for a business meeting. many people from my group had eaten there the night before and everyone raved about their dinner selections. My group had several questions about the menu and our waitress answered with no hesitation, it was clear she knew the food well. All her recommendations were spot on. the peanut butter dessert was unreal. Can't wait for my next trip.

We ate there a few years ago and love the food so when we came back to New Orleans this time we wanted to go there again. We were very disappointed this time. Service was excellent, however the food does not taste good. The vegetable I received with my shrimp was hard turnips with the ends of them still on. I didn't eat any of them. So for $27 I got seven shrimp. My husband was not happy with his meal either and only ate part of it. We won't be back.

Really great food! The redfish was the best I've ever had. The hostess was warm and welcoming. The server was professional and efficient. I did notice that a lot of the servers seemed really overwhelmed.

Tourist trap. One large dining room crammed with tables where I was literally two feet away from the guest next to me. Red Snapper had layer of dark skin on top and was tasteless, my wife didn't eat it. Frankly we didn't think it was Red Snapper. Grouper was ok but fish portion was ridiculously small. Grits were pretty good. My wife says the reviews here were pretty good, maybe we ordered the wrong stuff. Never again.

GW Fins is a block away and 100 times better in every way.
