Our food was amazing! The kitchen was backed up the night we went, and we had to wait for a long time, but the food was worth it. Be aware of the noise level, though. We went on a Saturday night that was also a special event in Providence, Water Fire. Next time we'd try a weeknight. Don't miss the Conch Fritters or the Latin Street Corn.
This restaurant is very well rounded. The servers, cocktails, food, and variety of offerings are all great.
Ate here for my birthday - amazing food as usual. The tapas came out all at the same time unfortunately so it was a bit overwhelming and the waiter seemed to be overworked but the food and ambiance was great!
Food was great
The food is amazing!!! I love gourmet food and with the small plates you get to taste so many different kinds of foods. Can’t wait to go back!
We were very impressed with the attentiveness, friendliness, helpfulness and warmth of the personnel. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed, non-pretentious and warm. We were unfortunately in a hurry, but next time we will spend more time, try more dishes and bring friends or family to really appreciate it.
The service is never an issue always friendly. The food lacks consistency I would say . We had the risotto and loved it so much we had to come back for it , dreamed about if for two weeks and it was totally different the meat was not the same it was shredded soggy beef and the risotto was sour/ bitter sweet not creamy like the first time.We also had the paella and it was beautiful but the smell of the dish really threw off the taste . Sad because we loved the Restaurant and we definitely want to give it one more try.
Great tapas, but way over-priced as you get small portions at full plate price
Our experience at Red Fin Crudo was very good! 5 of us shared 7 tapas and 2 pitchers of red sangria. Our favorite was the mushroom quesadilla! The calamari was excellent and we had spinach and cheese empanadas, mussels, beets, lamb chops that were very good too. Definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit!!!
We were seated outside so I do not know what the ambiance was inside, but the food was very good.
The food here NEVER disappoints! It is unique, delicious, and I can't get enough!
Red Fin Crudo is casual, friendly, creative, and energetic. The service is excellent. Everything we ate was delicious, fresh, and served quickly. Gary the waiter was enthusiastic and helpful. Great tapas - order a little or a lot.
We had been to RFC a few times before and the food is always very good. There were 3 of us and we ordered 6 tapas including shrimp, charred octopus, patatas braves, short rib and a couple of others. Everything was delicious and our waiter did a good job. My 2 comments about this place is how dark it is and the value. It's too damn dark. Being able to clearly see what you're eating, imo, adds to the experience and this place is just too dark. The 2nd comment is about the value. Yes the food is good but just too expensive for what you get. the carted octopus is a good example. The amount you octopus you get for the price is just not worth it. Good food, good service but value misses the mark. Been here a few times, will likely not return.
Our meal was fantastic, and the restaurant catered to my allergies (gluten and dairy).
Great concept, crazy prices for small plates. A few dishes-- the carrots, empanadas-- were awesome. Others were kind of underwhelming. Kind staff, low key atmosphere.
My friend had never had tapas before and she loved it! We ordered the fish tacos, garlic shrimp, conch fritters, and potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. It was a little noisy (small space, brick walls) but not obnoxiously so. Our waiter was great and explained what was in the different sauces. I would definitely go back.
What a nice surprise! People were lovely, restaurant a little loud (we should have tried to sit outside), and food was yummy and came out at a great pace. Our waiter was attentive and warm. Highly recommend.
Food was delicious and server very attentive. We especially enjoyed the fennel salad, and the calamari.
From start to finish we had a wonderful time. The food is fun and really great! It’s so nice to be able to try a bunch of the things on the menu. We will be back.
Pre Hamilton with family
Recommendation is for the food. The noise level was deafening and detracted from the experience. Had to shout to speak to my wife. Ever hear of sound tiles? But even more was the frantic and frenetic activity of the staff. Appears that most were highly stressed or wanted diners to think so. One guy was practically running through the place and rushing around with exaggerated motions. No one seemed to enjoy their job. Again, made for an unrelaxing meal.
Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, flavorful and fresh! Waitstaff and kitchen were incredibly accommodating with some of our very restrictive food allergies. They took our needs very seriously while delivering a made-to-order meal in a tight timeframe before a show. Fabulous service and meal!
The fusion tastes we’re just outstanding!! Every tapas we tried was just delicious, we can’t wait to go back and try some of the rest of the menu
As always the food was excellent. I know many comment on the noise level. I find it loud but tolerable. However last night there was a table of loud drunk women sitting behind us. I know there were drunk because the waiter even commented upon their arrival that they had already been partying. It’s too bad people like this get to ruin an evening for the rest of the guests.
I don’t blame the restaurant still a great place.
Overpriced! Would be overpriced anywhere but especially in Providence. $85 for lunch for two without drinks, and I had to have a second lunch afterwards because the portions were so sad (and I'm a skinny b).
Food is fine, service rude and discombobulated, a waitress from the bar left five different wrong dishes between four tables because she couldn't remember which was A, B, C or D, and then got angry at the customers about it!
Waste your money on something else
It was too hot inside the restaurant but the food was yummy. A bit too pricey though.
Great food, service and menu selection. Perfect prelude to seeing Hamilton!
This restaurant had rested on its reputation for far to long. To be frank, Wendy’s has better quality. My girlfriend and I were very disappointed.
Outside cafe style dining was nice, right along a busy street. Waiter attention was excellent. And our meal was delicious.
We had a reservation, but we're seated almost 1/2 an hour late. The noise was deafening, which really kind of killed the experience for some in our party. Our server was fabulous, pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious. The decor was a lot of hard surfaces, with nothing to absorb the sound, which is a bit of a deterent for returning.
We were impressed with our dinner. We have 5 different tapas. The dessert was amazing as well!
The food is absolutely prepared to perfection. Such creative options and presentation is spectacular. Our waiter was attentive, quick and on his game. LOVE this place!
I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious. My fiancé and I ordered 3 plates, one at a time. It was plenty of food for us. Everything came out rather quickly, but not too quickly. We enjoyed each plate and left nothing behind!
Celebrating a birthday, awesome experience, as always!
We’ve eaten here at least 10 times and it’s SO GOOD every single time! Cocktails are great as well as the food, and the servers are so nice and friendly. Everything on the menu is good - everything!
Food was wonderful! Our server did a great job in helping us navigate several tapas dishes that would satisfy everyone (even a gluten free intolerance). We heard their flourless chocolate cake option was delicious- sadly it sold out by 7p that evening already but we will definitely be back.
I have visited several times Red Fin Crudo and it was a good place for a Latin American fusion cuisine. The food presentation is not the same of what it was. The food presentation is poor plus what the server brings to you about your order is not the same of what the description said in the menu. Also, I remember that one of the things that I most liked about this place was the Sangria (red). This las time that we went the taste was not the same.
Nice ambience and quick service(this could be since we were the only one)
Good food but very very small portion for the price. Ratings indicate single $ sign but it isnt.
Keep coming back here for the great small plates. The octopus, cocnch fritters, street corn, deviled eggs are consistent winners, excellent pork belly special as well. Always appreciate the great cocktail;s and adventurous wine list which is quite reasonable even BTG
I used to love this place. Waitress was not very nice from the very beginning. They forgot to enter or start a meal and we're not very nice about it. Hard to get a servers attention drinks were very week. It was noisy.
