Red Circle Inn & Bistro
This was our first visit to this historic Wisconsin landmark in Nashotah. The food, friendly attentive service & dining experience was beyond our expectations. This restaurant deserves every one of its 5 star rating. We will most definately dine here again when we are in the area.
We went there for Mother's Day brunch and it was wonderful. Appetizer of bluepoint oysters were the best ever according to my wife. My filet and eggs were delightful and cooked perfectly. Wife's salmon
was excellent too as was the service from Mary Ann. We'll be back again and again!!
Food was excellent. Seating was tight and crowded. Overall however a good experience.
My favorite place in the world.
Celebrating a family get together, we met at the Red Circle Inn which was convenient for us Madison area people and the Fox Point people. Just the right place. Food choices for our varied group, attentive service and pleasant surroundings. We will return. The only negative part of the evening was a lost phone, most likely slipped off of someone’s lap.
One of our favorite restaurants. We celebrate our anniversary every year there plus we go for their bistro menu when we are looking for something quick after work
Vicki is amazing.
Excellent as always! My steak was done to perfection and the mussels were to die for. Our waiter was efficient and friendly. We had a new wine called Bonanza that was tasty and affordable. Bartenders were friendly and make a good drink. We have always had excellent service, outstanding food and a relaxing time at Red Circle Inn.
Although the food was good the noise from the bar and overall feel was not great. At first they tried to seat us in the bar (we had reservations for 2 and the table was for 4) but with the noise level we asked to be moved into the main dining area -- we were next seated next to the bathroom -- not great. The dining area was mostly empty
A great and friendly place with outstanding service. Not great ambiance but it makes up for that in service.
I would recommend the Red Circle to anyone In fact we brought friends to dinner with us that night. They enjoyed it as much as we did!
We had the Oysters Rockefeller, Gulf shrimp and a wedge salad. I also had their cream of golden beet soup which was OUTSTANDING! To finish, we had dessert - an apple tart and the rhubarb crumble. Both absolutely delicious!! The best part though, was the bartenders!! Such great service by them and fun conversation :)
Celebrated a special friend’s birthday
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, celebrating both my husband’s birthday and our anniversary! No complaints!
Another fabulous evening at Red Circle. A wonderful anniversary celebration.
Outstanding food and service as usual.
Wonderful night out at The Red Circle! Had drinks at the bar followed by a delicious dinner and dessert in the dining room. Great service too. Highly recommend.
Great service. We had a small, private dining room, which was very nice.
Great service and and excellent meal. Owner, Norm is extremely friendly and ensures all guests are well taken care of. Waitress was knowledgeable and attentive.
A wonderful evening. Food was delicious!
Great service! Very relaxing!
We took dessert home and also a box of their famous delicious toffee.
Fabulous as usual. The Bistro/Bar area is very energized. The dining room is just right for a lovely night out. Celebrated our anniversary and birthday. Staff is excellent as well. Mario is always our request
Had a wonderful meal with friends. Steaks were perfectly prepared! Service was excellent! We will definitely be back!
Always a delightful evening!
Very good for a unique atmosphere with some history to it. Service was very good and so were the desserts, including the chocolate toffee that comes with your check.
Food and service is wonderful! Not to be missed if you’re in the area.
We have fined at The Red Circle for many years. Norm and his staff provide great food, service and drink. They never disappoint and it is one of the finest restaurants in the area. We’re ready to go again soon.
Our (requested) seating was in the bar area to listen to the music. We ordered from the "bar (Bistro) menu". I had the sliders (3), which were very good. One had the scallops rumaki. Scallops were deep-fried and wrapped in bacon. She said were good, but overcooked. She has been coming to RCI for 40 years, so was somewhat disappointed in this dish. One had the Seafood Wellington. It was a bit heavy with the salmon, but very good. These were smaller portions than the regular dinner menu, yet ample servings. The ambiance was perfect, as well as the service. We will definitely go back to try some of the other interesting menu items.
one of the best restaurant experiences in southeast wisconsin. Norm the owner is there to see your being taken care of, and the waitress is there for everything. Food is A+ especially steaks. Definitely worth the drive for a special occasion or just to check out the happy hour.
Always great food and service love the Beef Wellington
Went there for two birthdays. Service, food, ambiance - perfect. Jeannie (our server) and Norm (the owner) go out of their way to make the experience wonderful every time.
Great food, service and ambiance!.. definitely will be back!
The food was GREAT! The dining room is small so if there are people speaking loudly it's not really conducive to table conversation. But our server was top notch, and we would go back there in a heartbeat!
Food and service were excellent- top notch. Ambiance was lacking. Fireplace was not lit. Bar was a little loud. But, overall the Red Circle Inn is a great place with great food.
I really wanted to give a 5 star review but just couldn’t. First, we were not a fan of the location that we were sitting. Our table was incredibly close to the tables on each side of us - I felt like we were dining with strangers. The food was delicious but not hot when it was brought out to us. I realize that it was busy (Valentine’s Day) but a warm Filet was disappointing. The service was fantastic but I felt like they shut off the heat at 9pm - it started to get noticeably cooler. To be honest, we will not be rushing to return.
We went for Valentines Day dinner and the food was great. Would go back.
Wonderful spot for a quiet and delicious Valentines Dinner! The staff and food were amazing. Highly recommend.
Early valentines dinner, half price wine bottles, beef Wellington-can’t go wrong!
love the food, ambiance, wait staff, and wine night special :)
My duck was overcooked and dry. The rice was to salty to eat. The beef filet was tender, but not as favorful as other choice beef.
