The food is very good (need to work on the desserts). Staff is excellent! Second to none. I like the overall feeling of the place from the staff to the food to the place.
We had a buffet. First, we were unaware when we made reservations that it was buffet only. The beef was raw in center, the shrimp was over cooked, salad was not fresh and desserts looked more like a pot luck of desserts brought from home - not tasty either. The most unbelievable issue was the $29.99 price even for children. Was definitely not worth that.
Mother’s Day buffet dinner was amazing. Very pleasantly surprised.
The Mother’s Day buffet was great, but we were seated in the back room with two families with small children. I’m pretty tolerant of child noises, but the noise definitely detracted from the meal. More sound absorbing fabrics are needed in that space. The main dining room was much quieter.
Food has went downhill. Brunch used to be quality food for cheap. The buffet food was stale, cold, and hard. The omelette station was appealing, but my omelette was burnt. My children had a waffle made that was not cooked and wet in the middle. The dessert station used to have fresh baked treats. It is basically just pudding and cookies now.
It was our first time experiencing brunch here and not sure we would do it again. The bottomless mimosas and bloody mary’s Are fantastic but the food just was okay. They have lots to choose from, omelette bar, fresh waffles, eggs benedict not cooked well, roasted potatoes were cold and bland, the chocolate chip french toast my kids loved as well as the fruit.
It’s not bad just not sure if breakfast is their thing. We prefer their dinner for the the taste of food.
We just loved this place from the minute we walked in we were pleasantly greeted and sat immediately. We went for their amazing Easter Brunch which was just delish!
Everyone was delightful. Brendan’s attention to us was just perfect! Highly recommend the Red Cedar Grille for any occasion especially brunch. We intend to go back for dinner!
A group of us met there for lunch. Service was excellent. Wonderful waiter. Delicious food. Everyone was happy.
Great food! Cocktails need work! Service was good as well!
Outstanding 1st time there definitely going back
The Experience was good. The food was good and the service outstanding. The only thing a little negative was that the menu was limited.
Waitress was friendly and efficient. Food good too. Only issue was the Ceaser salad was turning brown. Made reservations and had no wait. Sat talking to friends and didnt feel like we were being pushed out like a lot of places.
Great food it is my go to place for a great meal . Large portions had to take some home .
We had a large group and were able to get separate checks. The waitress was very organized and attentive. We would definitely return.
Slow service . Bad timing . Cold entree . Won’t be going back
The food was delicious! It was my parents' anniversary and they thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My father had a seafood ravioli special. Two of us had the brisket entree and one had the pulled pork entree. All of us were happy with our meals and the additional soups and salads we ordered. The bar makes a great old-fashioned too!
Menu is well varied and prices are reasonable for the meals. Our food was tasty, but the booths are uncomfortable and the appearance needs updating.
Always good food, and good service.
menu needs an update
This place is a hidden gem off of the beaten track a bit. Very interesting menu , good beer selection
Very attentive service and quick service. I would highly recommend. It had a good crowd for a Saturday night. Not crazy packed which I liked
The apps were a bit pricey for the size, the rueben egg roll was as small as my thumb
The service was very poor. The restaurant was not full due to an impending snow storm and we waited for our drinks each time they were ordered. Waitress didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or a drink after we were finished with our meal just brought over a check
Our meals were quite filling and very tasteful!
The food was cold and the fries were soggy. Wrong order delivered up front. Never asked if we wanted more drinks or desserts.
Did the brunch buffet. Took forever to get mimosa (nearly done with meal) ordered bottomless ones. Service was just slow
The menu was impressive and the food fantastic! Service was very friendly and attentive it just took a very long time to get our food. We got there at 6:30 and left after 9. Not the best place to go with young kids for that reason. But NOT a reason not to go! The food was worth the wait. I just won’t bring the kids next time.
Food was barely hotter than lukewarm. Service was meh.
We've had a lot of good experience here for lunch and dinner, but the brunch was not that great. It didn't seem like the staff was staying on top of keeping the buffet items fresh and the quality of several items was poor.
This place is a hidden gem! We have been there twice and enjoyed everything we ordered. This time my husband had the special which was a veal chop. The presentation, along with the taste was 5 star. Very good value for the portion size. Days later he is still talking about it. I had the crab cake BLT. The crab cake was larger than expected (probably could have charged more for that portion size). The only down side was that the bacon could have been cooked longer. My daughter couldn’t wait for the peanut butter moose pie. She has been comparing every other peanut butter dessert since the last time we were there and they have all fallen short. Huge portion too!
Been here a few times and usually it’s been good. Last trip was a little rough - not all meals coming out at the same time, and identical orders appearing completely different on the plate. Maybe they were having an off-day...
Great food and inventive menu. Friendly service. Only down side is presence of gnats, which I know they try to control.
We went for the Sunday brunch we were seated right away with our reservation. our server Katie was delightful, the food was hot and fresh and delicious in the buffet. you can also order eggs Benedict traditional or with crab from the kitchen. Both were very good with home made hollandaise sauce
Will go again!!
We had dinner in the back room with a group of good friends. Our server was charming and efficient, with a good sense of humor. We were never rushed, even though we stayed a long time. Several of us ordered the special soup, which was delicious, along with our dinners or sandwiches. Lots of interesting comfort food choices. Portions were large enough for doggy bags. The only negative point was that the bar was out of several beers on the menu, so some of us had to take a 2nd or 3rd choice. I recommend the Red Cedar as a great place to meet up with friends for lunch or dinner.
Always enjoy the variety of brunch offerings. Miss the chicken salad. Our server, Lisa, was a bit slow when following up that day, but nice.
It took forever for meals to arrive. Two large dinner salads .Waitress said computer problems???
Also soup did not come as ordered
The food was really good. We visit once a month and Theo never disappoints.
Enjoyed our visit. Staff is friendly professional and attentive. the brunch has something for every taste.Highly recommended
We found this place just by chance - because we needed last minute Saturday night reservations for 9. We reviewed the menu on line and all 9 of us agreed to try it. When we arrived, our table was ready and I was a bit surprised that it was not busier. Our waitress, Sky, could not have been friendlier, more accommodating, and more skilled. She met our needs including separate checks without losing a beat. Everyone got something different and we tasted one another's dishes. Very good food and a creative menu with things you don't find just anywhere. My wife, who does not like cream sauces, requested that the cream be left out of her pasta dish. The chef came to the table said he couldn't just leave out the cream. He offered to make a couple of other sauces (not on the menu) for her pasta. She chose one and was not disappointed. We had a very enjoyable time and felt well cared for and satiated when we left. Too bad we don't live closer. A return trip is called for.
little noisy but still able to hear each other .. the stair to enter are steep and I did not see a handicap access door, could be one but I did not see it. Food was fantastic, wait server was great couldn't have asked for more
The service was great and the food was amazing! Nice brunch atmosphere and plenty of options on the brunch buffet tables.
A main point of the Sunday brunch is an omelet station. They had a young teen at the omelet station preparing omelettes and waffles. It was clear he had no experience and his customer interaction was poor. Shame on management for putting him in a position where he lacked the skill and customer service.
