Had a great time. My wife and I met with another couple. We all had a great time.
So many wonderful options. The egg and crab meat benedict on spinach on an english muffin was amazing!
Food was great, service was ok they are busy anymore.
The wait staff was fantastic and the food was beyond good. My husband and I have never been here before, and based on the service and the food we will be coming back soon.
Waited over 30 mins past our reservation. Food was rubbery and not cold. Very disorganized.
Good for casual meal and conversation with friends. Servers were gracious and pleasant.
The food and the atmosphere is nice but the service is consistently lacking. We end up there for 1.5-2 hours for something that should be 45 mins total. I think we are done going back.
My wife and I stopped on a Friday night for dinner. We were seated quickly. Drinks orders were taken and served relatively quickly, non alcohol drinks very quickly. My wife ordered the petite fillet and I ordered the Cedar plank salmon which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. . I requested no mashed potatoes and some extra asparagus instead. When my order arrived, my request was not completed. I choose not to say anything as there was enough food without the switch, but that is why I ranked the service a 3...
Bathroom was clean and maintained. Server saved the kitchen because of her personality. Salad was missing ingredients. Citrus dressing had no flavor, just oily. Salad missing ingredients. Romaine leaves had black, slimy edges. Server was pleasant, efficient, helpful, kind, and a great sales person. She told us about Sunday brunch and the special Valentines menu.
Sunday brunch was nice, nothing special. Waitress was kind but seemed really out of it. It was a strange experience.
Food overall ok. Fried Greek cheese appetizer was way too small. Overall ok but service was very slow. Took 30 mins just to get appetizer and had to ask twice how much longer. Probably not going to be back soon, had same issue last time too.
I’m definitely going to come back here. There were a lot of things on the menu I would like to try! We only had two entrees - one was excellent, the other I didn’t like the marinade with the meat but someone else might. Dessert was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly! Pricing was good as well.
We enjoy going out on Christmas Eve. Not able to secure a reservation at our usual establishment, I searched online and discovered the buffet at Red Cedar Grille. To call it a disappointment is an understatement. The buffet choices were very few. There was not enough silverware or plates out. The carving station had cold, tough beef. The ham was OK. The rolls were stale. Overall quite an un-Merry experience.
Excellent breakfast buffet. A great deal for all the food available. All the food was delicious
Service was very poor.
Server kept apologizing for the slow service, but nothing changed.
Waited over 20 minutes for a drink, over an hour for food.
We ordered specials, nothing unusual or difficult to prepare.
Will not return.
Excellent Thanksgiving buffet. The turkey and the ham were incredible. The salads fresh and on point. Wish there were more vegetable options.
We had a horrible experience. No one was there and our waitress had one table besides ours, we had to remind her to bring water twice. It was so cold, there was no heat on. Then to top off the bad service and food, a karoake guy came to set up and blew our ears out. Put it on twice and it was insane that he didn't know how to adjust it. People walking out with us asked if we had any hearing left. Would never go back again.
Slow to get drinks. Food just okay. Very friendly staff though. Wish I liked it more.
Great food and wonderful service! Will definitely come back again soon!
Great food and excellent service.
Excellent food in service every time we go here and this past time was no different. Wonderful atmosphere and delicious breakfast buffet. Quality service and a chef that aims to please.
Worst dinner experience in a long time. There was a planned large birthday party and the restaurant operated like it was a complete surprise to them. There was no hostess, counted 4 servers and 1 bartender for the whole restaraunt and that included the servers used for the party. Party guests were going to the bar to get drinks, from the 1 bartender who had tickets for drinks that looked like over 100 orders. Serve staff were over worked and very short with costumers and co-workers. Will not be back!!
Was our first time there and it did not disappoint. We will be back again.
Great happy hour specials for drinks and food. Large portions. Bartender excellent . Highly recommend !
The service was great the food however was not. The filet medallions I ask for cooked medium and they most definitely were medium rare more in the rare and were very tough to eat and hard to cut and had fat on them. Ive ndver witnessed fatty portions in a filet before. I also ordered the cream brulee which with so runny.
We had a nice diner, service was great, our waiter Dan was helpful on selecting the special.
A little bright on the lights, and the noise wasn't to bad, I could hear my dining partner.
I would eat here again.
Great food and great service. I ordered the rueben sandwhich w/lobster bisque soup. Everything was good, but the soup was not very hot tempeture wise. My wife had the buffalo chicken salad and loved it. For desert, we had the chocolate chip cookie w/ice cream. That was great! Will go there again!
Went to red cedar grill. Had the buffalo chicken pizza and didn’t care for it. Also had the burger and sweet potato fries and that was good. Not sure if I would go back but I think that the place is fine for a burger and beer.
I always look forward to dining here. Once again I was impressed by the meal.
I love their pizza and desserts!
We went to the brunch buffet. It was us and another table in there that was all. Service was amazing. Extremely friendly and nice servers and a very nice funny omelet cook.
Omelets were very good, made to order items very good. Quite a few items in the buffet were stale and old you could tell probably had been used the previous day. So for what we paid ratio fresh good food to stale old food definitely not worth the price.
Had a great meal and even better service! We are new to neighborhood and will definitely be back.
We go to Red Cedar at least once a week
They have a great menu selection,
Food is good and prices very reasonable.
There are quite a few things to choose from the brunch buffet. I usually get an omelette, some salad and some fruit. There is a dessert table. All the items on the table look good. But I think they are too rich to eat in the morning. (Just my opinion!)
Red Cedar has long been a favorite for us. Maybe it was just an off night - but the saganaki was not served flaming, the fried calamari was soggy, and we had to return the swordfish twice to have it cooked well done. We sat toward the middle of the restaurant (away from the door) and were surprised at the number of flies buzzing around.
We went for lunch on Sunday and when we got there they have a Brunch until 2p which was a nice little surprise. The bloody Mary was delicious. Our waitress brought us these tiny sticky buns- SOOO GOOD!
Great meal for a fair price. Great place for a date or to meet friends.
We went for brunch to get together on my son’s birthday. He would have been 35 yesterday but he passed away at 33. We won’t come back for brunch No one at the omelet station every time one of us went up to order. If you’re gonna have a Sunday brunch you need a cook at that station
We have been going to Red Cedar Grille for years because it is convenient for the 4 of us to meet. Last Saturday's dinner was the worst ever. Lettuce leaves in the Caesar Salad was brown on the edges. Also the very- small -for- the- price salad had almost no dressing. The entrée Salmon was cooked appropriately and tasted good, but was thin and small , 3 ounces or so, over a piece of dried wood to which the skin stuck, all over a slab of mashed potatoes and asparagus, which were good. My dining companions had dry and flavorless crab cake made with crab flakes---not the chunks of crab that they should have; a small tasteless sword fish; and brisket that was unremarkable. The Bloody Mary's swizzle stick had 2 old, dried limes and 2 perhaps-recycled olives. It was difficult to drink through the straw: each sip brought a mouth of pepper flakes.
The unfriendly young man who served us had to be asked to tell us the specials; kept trying to take our plates away; did not refill our waters; and did not tell us the dessert specials, except for a special dessert cocktail. ( Later we heard him telling the dessert specials to another group, as he loudly carried on a conversation with them.) He was arrogant and obnoxious.
The food was great. The waiter was working hard. It took forever to get waited on and to get our food and the soup was missed. Again, it was clearly short staffed and I’m not sure how this happens on Fathers Day.
