Red Bird Restaurant severs eclectic local cuisine with flair. Red Bird Restaurant is opened for intimate evening dining in dramatic architectural surroundings with an art nouveau feel. The Restaurant strives for sustainability and serves local meats, handmade pastas, sustainable fresh seafood & delectable desserts. Our menus change frequently to reflect the wide variety of seasonal foods available regionally. The Wine Bar has over 25 wines by the glass and an extensive representation of Northwest Wines. The Wine bar offers enticing appetizers, fresh salads, artisan sandwiches and petite entrees. Monday night is live music night in the Wine Bar. Red Bird is the best restaurant in town. Dining room is fancier, in terms of decor, the wine bar more casual. Are you still here?! Go on! Go!

We had never been to the Red Bird and were very excited about trying it out for Valentine's Day. We had reservations made over a month in advance and had to wait almost 30 minutes past our reservation time to be sat. I decided to go to the host stand and check on our table and the host was very receptive and pleasant and we were sat shortly after that. We were taken to the dining area as opposed to the bar and it was beautiful, a very wonderful atmosphere. After that, our service was very disappointing. Our server stopped by our table as minimally as possible. I had to flag people down to get my water glass filled and to get another beverage. We were not offered a desert menu but had to ask for one after he dropped our check off. The food was sub-par, I got the chicken marsala which was pretty flavorless and my husband got the lamb which he was not a fan of. I know this was Valentine's Day and they were very busy but I still expect good service and tasty food at a restaraunt of the caliber.

This is specific to dinner on 2-13. Usually Red Bird's food is a little more inspired. This time it was underseasoned and the plating did nothing for inspiration. Imagine a piece of brown meat placed in the middle of brown grains - that's it - no greens, nothing else. I've found that the bar food is usually better than the main restaurant. Pump it up a bit!

Red Bird offers excellent and unusual entrees that are artistically presented and delicious. The service was outstanding. The restaurant is located in an historic building and offers a beautiful dining area for special occasions.

Red Bird is very wonderdul. Its generally quietish with the exception of larger groups who tend to be louder, but its still perfect. The food is amazing, and local. I highly recommend Red Bird for any kind of celebration. It is also very worth the money I paid, and i also recommend saving room for desert, which was also absolutely delicious.

The Black Cod was just OK, a little fishy. the accompaniment was a little dry and not very warm in temperature.

I had the Eggplant dish previously which was absolutely excellent.

I thought the decor was beautiful. The food was definitely wonderful. I felt the restaurant was too brightly lit to be considered romantic. The can lights on ceiling detracted from the ambient chandelier and sconces and negated the candle light. I would turn the can lights off and then the beautiful chandelier and candlelight would really shine. Just my humble opinion. Thought the food was outstanding and service was top notch.

This was our first visit to the Red Bird and over all I was not disappointed. The beet salad was tasty but I probably wouldn't order it again. The bison sirloin was tasty but more on the rare side as opposed to the medium I had ordered. The potatoes were nothing spectacular and my husband's albacore was not as presentable as it should have been. Wilted kale should not be served with anything. The tomato and potato soup was to absolutely die for and is worth the experience alone. The service was excellent and the ambiance was very nice and relaxing. The dessert and coffee were delicious.

I love the Red Bird wine bar but this was the first time I had eaten in the dining room. The waitress was superb. Very friendly, helpful and great service. The food was lovely. The wine was perfect! The ambience is very nice. Beautifully decorated. Quiet so you can have a conversation. I was very impressed.

I love this restaurant. It has a romantic atmosphere. The food presentation was exquisite. For a starter we had the beet salad, the flavor combination was amazing. I had the Chicken Marsala which was one of the best entrees I'be had in awhile. It's a great place to eat. I can't wait until my next visit.

We went to Red Bird for our 4th anniversary because we had gone for our first anniversary three years prior and had a great experience. The ambience and environment were nice. Our waiter was friendly enough but didn't make any attempts at talking with us or inquiring about our special occasion. The menu options were quite bland compared to the last time we were there, and nothing sounded all that appetizing. We decided to order the cheese platter, only to find out that they were out of the cheese, so we could only get the meats. The meat platter was not incredibly exciting and we only enjoyed 1 out of the 3 meats. I ended up ordering the chicken Marsala, which was bland and unexciting. My partner ordered the steak, which was good but nothing special. Overall we were bummed to pay $100 for a meal that neither of us really liked.
