This was it. The last night. It was an honor to eat there one last time, and we even got to hear a few words from the Chef as he fought back tears. Such a lovely evening. Recess will be missed.

it was as wonderful as it always is. Terribly sad it is closing. I hope Greg will find other ways to share his amazing talent.

Recess is closing. Expected a little bit better but owner appears to be going through the motions. I suspect he is embarrassed and disappointed he could not keep this fine dining establishment open.

Arguably the best restaurant in Indy. Greg Hardesty is the most innovative, yet consistently on the mark chefs around. So unfortunate for us that he has decided to move on. But good for him and his family.

The food was very good, ingredients very adventurous. I don't think I would pay that price tag again but I'm really glad we got the chance before they close.
