Not good at all. The lobster was absolutely awful - undercooked & drowning in a rather odd soupy butter sauce. Old school ambiance. Overpriced & poor quality. Very disappointing experience.
It was amazing !!
First time dining here and was very impressed with the ambiance, service, food and drinks. Our server, Fern, was awesome. Can’t wait to come back!
Pure decadence with superb service!
Always a great experience!
Beautiful restaurant inside the St. Anthony Hotel. We had brunch here on Sunday morning because I’ve seen them on Instagram & the food looked amazing! The deviled eggs topped with fried oysters were incredible! We also ordered the Lobster Florentine & the Griddle Pancakes. While both were good they weren’t great. Neither dish was served warm enough & the lobster & poached eggs were overdone. Overall a decent experience but not one of the best.
A 2-3 hour dinner. Crunchy Brussels prob not the best way to prepare them. Lots of butter. Great if you love butter.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for date night.
Dined here with friends. I’ve eaten here many times in the past. Food is very good and the staff was very nice and attentive. They were short handed in the kitchen (thank you CoVid) and the food took forever but the staff handled that well. Wasn’t their fault. The main dining area is incredibly noisy which is one of the drawbacks of this restaurant. They need to look at room finishes that lessen the noise.
Our experience was spectacular. The food was amazing and service top notch. The cocktails and wine were great, I will admit that I liked the craft cocktails in the hotels club lounge better. We started there as we waited for the restaurant to open up.
We were downtown to see Hamilton at the Majestic and decided to stay at St Anthony for the night so made a reservation for pre-show dinner at Rebelle. Started with the chargrilled oysters - the butter sauce that tops the oysters is addictive. We then shared a wedge salad. This is a very large salad so sharing was the right choice. Then we did the “make your own surf and turf experience”. Had an 8 oz filet, 4 grilled shrimp, 3 scallops, 1/2 lobster tail with the butter sauce and crab stuffing underneath and two large crab legs. All prepared and cleaned for easy consumption. Incredible! Added the spinach soufflé. It was good but very different. More like a pudding with bechamel. Then finished off dinner with the chocolate martini and S’mores Panna Cotta and Crème Brûlée. We were stuffed. Definitely will go back but being your pocket book for sure as this is a very expensive dinner. Our bill was over $400 including tip for two people with 3 drinks each and all the above.
Gladys and Julia took excellent care of us at the bar! They were personable without being intrusive, and they made fabulous drinks. The food was expertly prepared and flavorful. We can't wait to return and sit at the bar again.
Seafood was better than the steak. Happy hour an amazing value. We will be back before our next show at the Majestic.
Had a very enjoyable dinner with my mom (before a musical at the Majestic Theatre). Complimentary valet parking made arrival very easy. Reservations were at 5:45pm and we were seated promptly. Service was exceptional - very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Great happy hour apps and drink specials. Loved the chargrilled oysters and crab croquettes for an appetizer and the main course (redfish and char-broiled lobster) was delicious. Only criticism: we did not care for the spinach pudding (save your $12 and order a different side). Didn’t have time for dessert - as it was, we paid our check 1.5 hours after being seated… this meal will take time. If you have a show to see, eat early! Another plus: easy 1/2 block walk to the majestic.
Fern was an amazing waitress. Very accommodating and attentive.
Food was great as always. Ambiance was great as always.
Such an awesome date experience! Took my girlfriend for a nice fancy date and this place was an excellent fit. Our waitress April was so good at what she does and we both applauded not only the service, but the ambiance, food, and overall wait for our food was top tier! Definitely recommend Rebelle as a special date night! Loved it
Not sure why rebel thinks they can just put anything on a plate and sell it for $32 & $38. Both plates we had didn’t have any taste. Additionally we asked for our sons burger to be medium and it was fully cooked. Im tired of these restaurants not get it right.
New Year’s Eve dinner
Food was excellent but lost a star because the entree arrived cold. Great Service.
All around great experience.
The food was excellent! Great atmosphere and service was on point. We totally enjoyed our experience!
We have been here several times on the past and enjoyed the visit. This time we ordered an appetizer of the pickeled octopus. When it arrived it was rapidly placed on the table with some mumbled statement and server left. What we got was a laughable small bowl of what I would describe as a quarter cup of off the shelf octopus and matching cucumbers. So ludicrous we had to laugh. It makes for a humorous story and the decision to not return.
The atmosphere is wonderful. Great food and drinks. The service was somewhat slow (as in everywhere). I recommend the restaurant.
Food & service were very good. Unfortunately, they were out of crab legs, which several of our group wanted. Also, charged for bread which I have never seen. (This would have been fine if informed of it prior) Very nice ambiance inside the beautiful St. Anthony Hotel. A little overpriced but a wonderful experience overall. Would still recommend for a special occasion.
Anniversary dinner. Well worth it!
Christmas Eve dinner for my husband and I. Our waitperson was great- very friendly and attentive. Our meal was delicious, but portions are small for the price. Several entrees don’t come with any sides, like the $110 surf and turf😬😬. We should have asked the cost and if sides were included. Maybe the waitstaff could offer this info?!
Outstanding experience and great service. Best meal while visiting.
Very nice atmosphere with great food and service.
Food and service were outstanding. It may be a little overpriced for quantity, but was worth the price. As the dining room filled, the noise level got extremely loud.
We were going to the Majestic for Sarah Brightman’s Christmas concert. We got to the restaurant at 5:30, which was 2 hours before the show. The food was yummy but the service was so slow we were rushing to eat and pay in time to walk to the theater. Made it a little stressful. But the food was great.
Food was ok. Servings a bit small. The price was not in line with the quality of the food. Probably will not go back.
I had high expectations for Rebelle that went unmet. The service was solid. The hip and modern look was cool. It was a bit noisier than I thought it would be and while there was nothing terribly wrong with the food, it was uninspiring. The best thing I had was the cocktail, Envy. I would go back for drinks but not the meal. There are other restaurants in town to drop that kind of money on.
The best seafood experience I’ve ever had!!’
The spinach pudding is always my favorite thing to order. So delicious.
Hands down, the best seafood in SA. The seafood feast is expensive but worth it, the service is excellent and ambiance perfect.
Very loud and hard to converse. Food good but high priced for amount.
My daughter pre-arranged for dessert for my table for my 80th bday and server did not inform us.
Extremely loud. For the price and quality of the food, and given it is in a historic hotel, the noise level was horrible. I had to almost shout across the table at my wife. We sat upstairs. I believe the lower level is quieter. The food was good, but again for the price of the entrees the ambiance was really bad. Also, the plastic chairs upstairs belong at a beach restaurant. This was my second visit and I will not be coming back.
Food is exceptional and consistent. The service is phenomenal, the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu, wine pairings, and cocktails.
