It was a great experience
The food, the ambiance, and the servers
The oysters are to die for
Wonderful evening with amazing food!
Rebelle was wonderful, the service was great and the food was fantastic. Their was so many great selection from the menu and also from the server tip of the special of the day. I proposed to my fiancé at the restaurant and everybody was so kind, I couldn’t have choose a better place to pop the question of our engagement. Thank so much!
Don’t be hesitant to go simply because it is in a hotel. The food prep and presentation is excellent and as good as you can get. The bar is colorful, though small and may get noisy but not on the night we went. The wine list is fine to ok, but not the reason to go. Go for the food.
Booth fabric was dirty.
Service was poor.
Food was very salty and overpriced.
Drinks were bad.
Key lime pie dessert was very sour.
Bad experience overall.
Outstanding food and a great vide!
The food was wonderful and Coco was a great host.
Super good food good atmosphere great service just all around great place will be back here again
Everything we ate was fantastic! Nice, quiet atmosphere.
Had apps and drinks. Ceviche, grilled oysters and ahi toatadas were awesome. Lived up to the rep for best seafood dishes. And all at happy hour prices!!!
Rebelle never disappoints!!! I’ve tried just about every fish entree on the menu and it’s amazing. The filet mignon is like cutting into butter.
The cocktails are so refreshing. Love the happy hour. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know!!
Liv was our waitress and she was so friendly and professional. While the food was superb, we would have to say that the service was exemplary!!! Thank you for making our 3 generation (grandmother, mother & daughter) celebration and my daughter's 23rd birthday celebration so wonderful.
We came for dinner and everything was amazing. Oysters, octopus, fish, crab, drinks, all of it was delicious. Our server Sarah was the best.
DELICIOUS food and wonderful service!
Been there a few times and it's always been good. Third time was exceptionally great
The cocktails, food and service were amazing. We will definitely be back!
Great meal at a reasonable price.
Recommendation would be with a warning. Food was very good, and this was from the slightly cheaper Culinaria Weeks menu. Service was excellent until we wanted to pay and leave. That was slow. Noise was a problem, even thought we were in a booth in the corner. Lighting, purple and dark, is something a person grabs and takes in or cringes and tries to look away. Corner booths help somewhat if you are in the group that doesn't grab it right away. But I'm unlikely to return because of the noise and lighting.
2nd time to eat there...love it, great service. We’ll be back soon
Went for restaurant week but both my mom and I agreed it was well worth the $$ at full price.
We sat at the bar for this second visit to Rebelle. I highly recommend bar seating if you’re a party of two. Great service and attention. The bartender and another server had excellent drink recommendations. The food was crazy good. Had scallops, ceviche, oysters. Amazing. All of it. We’ll be back!
Certainly a different vibe for SA. Food was mediocre at best. They call themselves a seafood restaurant - the seafood tower was discussing. Everything super fishy. Entrees were ok. Very loud. Couldn’t have a conversation to the person next to me. Will not return here.
Not a place for children. We were sat next to a party of 6 people with a toddler that the parents let throw toys and climb in and out if their seat. Certainly impacted our evening. Hostess should have thought about that when seating customers.
Gathered with family from out of town.
We had the restaurant week menu (8/19). The ocean chowder was delicious! Romaine wedge salad was wonderful, as always. Porcini crusted halibut was cooked perfectly and lovely in flavor, though it was difficult to taste the porcini. The scallops melted like butter in your mouth (I just wish there were more than 2). The chocolate torte was delicious and perfect for true chocolate lovers. There were inconsistencies in the torte: one had burnt hazelnuts, one had perfectly caramelized hazelnuts, one had pale (under caramelized) hazelnuts; one had a crust (brownie) so tough it was difficult to cut through, 2 had soft brownies that were easy to cut through with a spoon The caramel spread on plate was PERFECT! It was cooked to the perfect color & temperature (just before it becomes too bitter). The espresso semifreddo was DELICIOUS (not super heavy on the espresso - just enough to taste it and not so strong that it didn't offend sensitive palates) - the texture was light, creamy, & perfect! Our server, Angel, was great!
The Restaurant Week Menu was very good. We will be back!
Love this place.
really cool and funky atmosphere - this isn't your neighborhood Red Lobster! felt like we were more in some boutique spot in Vegas, let alone a hotel restaurant in downtown San Antonio. fantastic service, really great food - had the bass, halibut, shrimp, and wedge salad. all were delicious! recommend grabbing a drink before or after dinner at the bar across the hall called 'Haunt' as it's equally cool and fun.
The restaurant is beautiful and our service was great. The food was very good. It was difficult to have a conversation, due to the noise level. We were next to the kitchen with only a curtain between & the noise and loud talking coming from the kitchen was extremely loud.
We had a very delicious meal & it was even a bargain.
Because of reviews, we made a reservation with a little trepidation. We found the service to be prompt & attentive.
We were early for our reservation but on a Tuesday evening the restaurant was not too busy so we were seated promptly. The charming young hostess gave us a Tasty Tuesday special menu with two options for appetizers, entrees & dessert, which was a great surprise. We both ordered the seafood soup, porcini dusted halibut and chocolate. I also added 2 scallops which were fabulous. And we added an order of asparagus. Our food was excellent. The fish had wonderful sauce plus some tiny potatoes & mushrooms. The dessert was small but more than adequate. The specialty, Key Lime Pie, was an option but we find it too sweet.
Our waite, Angel, was very attentive although we had difficulty hearing him. But the restaurant was not loud just bad acoustics.
The couple seated next to us ordered the halibut and specified that they wanted it from the regular menu not the Tuesday menu. Had we not heard them order, we would have not known that we had smaller portions. We truly had more than enough food, in fact, we were stuffed. So even though we didn’t know before we got there, we got a really good deal and excellent food.
Finally, we were prepared for garish decor based on the past reviews. The decor was not offensive or off-putting. No it is not the elegant decor of the St. Anthony lobby. It probably appeals to a younger demographic that doesn’t like stuffy Old World elegance.
The decor was out of place. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were.great. Everyone around us ordered hamburgers and they were raw. However, I’ll comment only on what we had. We had s romantic table upstairs and our waiter was great (James ) said he would bring us bread that had just been baked. It arrived and was cold. My husband had a wedge salad that was delicious. He also had the king crab legs that were charbroiled. It was a generous portion and they were great. I ordered scallops and they were served on a bed of spinach and mashed potatoes. My entree was not lukewarm but rather completely COLD!! This infuriated me as I had heard so many good things about this restaurant. My entree could have been amazing but by it being cold it completely ruined my dining experience. I’m not sure I’ll be able to return. It has lots of hype but there are many places that are classier, more upscale and can produce in the food department. I don’t mind paying 400 plus for dinner but I’d like my meal served hot. Overall I’d say this place was typical of a hotel restaurant and just ehh.
Awesome! Just awesome!
very pricey and food only fair. I did not find value in the meal and would not dine there again
Absolutely loved it! My husband and I came for a date night and we enjoyed everything! Front desk girls were sweet, waiter was amazing and food was delicious! So pleased with everything, what a great restaurant, will be back!
Amazing experience all around! Best in San Antonio!
Scallops were showstopping!!
YES!!! It was awesome!! Great ambiance, food was excellent and Sara our waitress was superb!! Very enjoyable evening, we will be back!
A little disappointing for an anniversary dinner. Halibut first served not hot. Once corrected it was superb but the rest of the party had essentially finished their meal. Other meal selections excellent.
