I came across Rebecca's restaurant, and I am so glad my friend and I went there. The food was excellent, the presentation was excellent, the quality was excellent, service was excellent. I cant wait to visit again. I had driven in from Brooklyn.
Sierra Hospitality Inc.
It was a wonderful experience and great service. It’s honestly better every time I go. They have the best flan.
This is a very solid, BYOB restaurant. The place is small and cute, the glassed in backyard was nice. The food is slightly overpriced, but the flavors and portions were there. You won't be wowed, but the food is really good. Include the great service and this place is a definitely recommendation!
Rebecca's never disappoints. Excellent food and wonderful staff always make it the perfect place.
the food and service is always terrific at Rebecca's. I will be back
Very friendly staff and great food
Rebecca's was amazing. The feel of the restaurant is very mellow and family-like... My date and I absolutely loved sitting outside in the patio with the cool evening breeze and the awesome background music. Very cozy spot and excellent food that feels like home made!!
The food was amazing, the best flan ever. This was our first visit, everything was great, just wish the restaurant was a littl bigger. We sat outside and it was a beautiful night. But when entering and leaving we walk too close to people eating at their tables
We were a group of 4 who consumed a lot of food. The food was absolutely amazing. Our waiter was great; very funny and friendly. We had the awesome flan. The only bad moment was when, after we had paid the check, but were still finishing up our sangria, we were asked to give up the table because they had people waiting. I guess it was the Manager who approached us and said “not to rush you guys, but we have people waiting for the table”. It left a bad taste in our mouths, after such a great evening. We have never experienced that anywhere before. Not sure if we’d be back now.
4/14/18 We had a 9 people birthday dinner in the semi-private room. We liked everything at this restaurant.
The waitress Victoria tryed her best to accommodate our requests for a/c, for a food, all dishes were just delicious.
We enjoyed our company very much since could easily communicate to each other even though the music sometimes was little bit noisy but Victoria explained that the sound system works for the entire restaurant.
So, this was, anyway, bearable.
Everything else was just great: everybody in our company were happy.
If you know where to park your car in that area then it will help. There is no parking belonging to the restaurant but Kniwing the area, we didn’t have any difficulties.
Thank you to the stuff of Rebecca.
The hostess wasn’t very pleasant, but the waiter was very nice and accommodating.
it was great but i was expecting more quiet but we had a large party next to us
Everything was great! Food is amazing! Service was great too!
What a cute little place! Very cozy with an atrium-style back room. The entrees were terrific and better than the apps or dessert (chicken croquettes and rice pudding which were just ok). We had the skirt steak and the coconut shrimp. Each were beautifully prepared and the restaurant couldn’t have been more accommodating of our request for a few modifications. The fact that it was a BYOB made the check a bit easier to swallow.
Rebecca's has been recommended to me for over a year.. I finally went and now regret having waited so long. It was FANTASTIC ! Authentic Cuban food. Good size portions. Beautifully plated. Excellent service. Beautiful setting out on the patio.
I love this place. Neighborhood gem!
Been many times different good food(Cuban) but plenty choices for all ( I’m a fish eater and nice choices..cute place nice size portions ,BYO very nice people and good service
Rebecca’s is a great spot. Signature slow cooked pork, excellent
Great service, attention and food!
Must have a flan with Cafe con Leche to complete the meal!
I have never had any issues switching to another table in a restaurant specially when the restaurant was empty when arriving the hostess told us that every table was reserved then later in the evening people were switching tables without any problem I felt very uncomfortable with this issue
This was our first visit to Rebecca’s and it was phenomenal. All of the reviews I read were excellent so we knew we were in for a treat! We will definitely be returning.
The first time I was there food was great but last time I ordered the same thing and it was extremely “HOT” I had to get water dios after each chew.
We have been to Rebecca’s before and enjoyed our meals there and have recommended Rebecca’s to many people. Our dining experience at Rebecca’s this evening was absolutely terrible we waited over 45 minutes for our entrée. The couple next to us were seated 20 minutes after us and were having their entrée after their appetizers as we were receiving our entrées.
When our entrees finally arrived, they were lukewarm. The dish read on the menu as Jerk chicken with a mango, pineapple & papaya salsa. It was dry thin pieces of chicken with just pineapple my guess, it was the appetizer chicken poorly disguised as the main course less mango & papaya. Note to the chef, if you can’t serve as described please don’t serve it or better yet or in this case rename it to JERK CHICKEN SURPRISE!
When I asked an employee why the entree took so long he said he would look into it. After sometime I took it upon myself to seek him out for an answer and the check. He acknowledged the 45-minute wait was too long and it was a mix up by the servers of which we had 4 different ones.
When he came back with the check he saw our barely touched dinners and asked if we would like to take them home. I was wondering if he thought we could not finish because we were still full from the appetizer we had over an hour and a half ago and or this meal would taste so much better at home. We declined and he said he had phoned the manager and the manager approved a most generous discount of 20% off the meal which was not as described and barely edible.
To management: When attempting to manage by phone the results, in this case, are bad service, unappealing food, two fewer customers with no future recommendations.
The staff up to including the Valet (Chris) were outgoing and friendly. Victoria our server was warm, and outstanding in helping up,select our meal and wine. She is an excellent asset to your restaurant.
Overall this was a great experience. I enjoyed the ambiance. The food was delicious. There was a little mix up with the appetizer however, once the staff realized the error the manager apologized and made everything right. I would highly recommend Rebecca's!!
Great food and nice atmosphere. The service was excellent. I never really write reviews but this place was a nice surprise. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The music level was perfect and lighting is just right. It’s a cozy place with great food and excellent service. The shrimp appetizer and the sangria are a must. In most places the sangria tastes pre made or like the fruits been sitting in it for a while, but here the fruit tasted fresh cut and the the sangria tasted like it was just made when we ordered. And the bread pudding is also a treat.
Everything. Was amazing but we did sit in tight quarters in the room to the left. I'm sure the rest of the tables in the restaurant are fine. Will definitely go back. Staff was great.
Rebecca's has a reputation for excellence that is richly deserved. The Cuban/Carribean cuisine is authentically prepared and artistically served. The wait staff -- Victoria I. Friday evening -- was informative, attentive, and thoroughly helpful.
My friends and I always love the food and the service is outstanding. It is a pleasure to come there.
Great atmospheric restaurant. BYOB which makes the bill very reasonable.
The key lime pie 🥧 was out of this world and the Flan was terrific. Valet parking makes this cozy restaurant fitting for all occasions.
This was my first time to Rebecca's. I was on a date night with my husband and my sister and brother-in-law and we wanted some authentic Cuban cuisine and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is quaint and the food was so delicious. As an appetizer, we shared the guacamole and plantain chips and I think I may never go back to tortilla chips again. It was that good. For dinner, I ordered the lechon asado (roasted pork) with dirty rice (arroz moro)and it was so flavorful and well seasoned. For dessert, we shared their award winning flan and also a flan with coconut as well as the key lime pie, the empanada with guava and cheese and the bread pudding (YES, we obviously enjoy sweets) were all excellent. The overall service was really good. Because the lighting is low and romantic, they provide lighted tablet menus which is very clever.
The food is fantastic! From the delicious black bean soup to the maduro plantains to the ropa villejo. Veronica was great as our server. She did no rush us and was extremely pleasant and easy to talk to . She had great recommendations. Ambiance was very nice.
We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem tucked away on a road we passed many times. The food was so delicious and beautifully presented. The staff helped to explain dishes with care and didn't disappoint. Bring your own wine is welcomed and everyone coming through the door did just that. The portions were plentiful, the accompanying fresh fruit delicious and the flavors yummy.
Will definitely be going back to this cozy spot!
Where should I start. The DJ and service were great. Can’t complain about that and the how the place is decorate is also a plus. However that’s all there is to it. Went here for New Years Dinner (table for 2) and my bill was $354. I wouldn’t have mind paying that amount of money but what I was given for that price was ridiculous. Didn’t feel like a Cuban restaurant at all. The Ropa Vieja(angus flank steak) wasn’t anything to brag about and I think they charged us $40 an appetizer (haha). I will give credit where credit is do. The red snapper is delicious but the quantity can be improved. For desert we had their bread pudding (it was good) and their Award winning Flan (Horrible, STAY AWAY FROM THAT). Their selection of House wine isn’t bad but they sell by the bottle ($23, not bad). Again had their food met the hype and expectation I’d give it 4 stars, but it didn’t. You’re better off going to a Cuban restaurant in NYC or further down in Jersey (Jersey City, Montclair, or Ferry Street-Newark). Not impress at all. This place is over priced and isn’t worth what it charges. If I can rewind time and get back my money I would.
It was a nice restaurant and the food was very good. However we went there on New Years Eve and it was so cold outside and they sat us in a closed in patio area where you could still feel the cold air. I had to eat dinner with my winter jacket still on. Otherwise it was a good place to have dinner. The service was good and the people were friendly.
The food was not worth the price. It was overpriced and under seasoned. I was also disappointed with the service. I would not go again.
The food was very flavorful! We enjoyed the appetizers and entrees. Aside from the dinning area being cold, the lighting and space feels romantic. I will return on a warmer day.
Holiday celebration meal with mother in law. Food was very good and authentic. Best flan ever.
The food and the ambiance was perfect. Valet parking so need no to worry about finding parking in that already difficulty area. The place is small and quaint and tables are close together however we had gone on a night when it wasn't crowded. It's a BYOB which is an added bonus. There is a room in the rear in which small parties can be held. That night there was a 60th birthday going on. Overall, it was a great experience.
Thoroughly wonderful experience, from the “welcome to Rebecca’s” to the “thanks so much for joining us” it was a quiet, enjoyable, fun, delicious experience! Strongly recommend!
