Rebeccas has been serving inventive, modern American cuisine for over 15 years in its Greenwich, Connecticut location. A glass walled window separates the kitchen from the dining room where diners may sit and watch up-close at the "kitchen counter" to view the brigade at work. Run by husband and wife team, Rebecca Kirhoffer and Reza Khorshidi, both trained chefs in their own right, are best known for a menu that is playful, innovative and adventurous. They work with seasonal, fresh, local and organic ingredients. The wine list is smart with a focus on the best of what Burgundy and California have to offer.

Rebeccas Ratings and Reviews
Celebratory meal with my 17 year old daughter. Excellent food. Attentive service but not obtrusive. Risotto with white truffles was to die for. Crab ravioli was great appetizer. And filet mignon was perfectly cooked. Highly recommend - we'll definitely come back. Risotto
The restaurant itself is very nice, ambiance is very elegant, and the food is excellent. However, service was quite slow (we did not order appetizers, just mains, and yet the food still took 1 hour to be brought out), and for the price, not worth it, compared to many other restaurants I’ve been to both in Greenwich and other cities.
A delicious and elegant dinner for our anniversary. I had my favorite dishes, the mosaic vegetable medley - a work of art and the lobster with risotto. My husband tried the seasonal elk and loved it. Staff was attentive and thoughtful of every detail. We look forward to going again!
The menu was amazing and made it difficult to decide what we wanted as it all seemed fabulous. The appetizers and the entrees didn’t disappoint. This restaurant is expensive but the portions aren’t chintzy. The service was great and the noise level was fine. A lot of restaurants lately I find to be so loud you can’t hear the person next you. Rebeccas is not like that. We left happy with our choices and look forward to returning.
Well prepared, creative cuisine . Our selections included white truffles, pheasant, and lamb. All were well prepared and well portioned. The wine list is a best hits album suitable for everyday and special occasions. Rebecca herself is charming and engaging. Her husband is managing a talented group of chefs. Highly recommend if you want something special in Greenwich.
We had friends visiting from out of town and decided to treat them to Rebecca's. As always, it was beautifully decorated and comfortable (good lighting, seating, etc). The service was excellent and polite too.
Unfortunately, the meals were a bit tired. Not bad, probably even good, but they did not meet the price point that Rebecca's is offering. The one stand out was the foie gras dumpling. I had the Elk Chop on the specials menu and it was cooked nicely, but very tough. I appreciate that it is a game meat, but if cannot be cooked without being tender, I would consider leaving off the menu. The scallop dish on the main course menu was a bit dry. Wine choice was good.
I had not been in awhile and I was disappointed with what I found. It is a shame, because everything beyond the food was done perfectly.
We arrived and spent 15 minutes before anyone came to our table to ask for drinks etc. And then shortly after that were told to hurry up and order so they could get us out for the next serving. The maitre'd then came by later to tell me to move my chair in to let people pass. It was not a good night and the food was less than stellar.
Came to Rebeccas for our anniversary. The menu had great options and the food was expensive (as expected) but excellent. Service was attentive and they prepared a lovely dessert presentation for our anniversary. Our only constructive critique is that the décor is a bit sterile and corporate feeling for our particular taste, but others I am sure will disagree. I would send people there absolutely.
Our evening at Rebecca's was a complete disappointment and left us dismayed. This is coming from a Greenwich resident who has always admired Rebecca and thought the food was outstanding. The evening started with the co-owner/manager offering to take my coat (a light weight topper). I declined because I was cool. He insisted in a rather unpleasant way that startled me so I gave up my coat. At the time I laughed off "the coat tyrant" but this strange exchange was the least of our complaints. (See another review below for a similar tale.). We arrived at 7:30 pm and didn't get a drink delivered to the table for ONE HOUR. Dinner wasn't served until 9:30 pm (a two hour wait). When we complained to the manager/owner, all we wanted was a polite response..."so sorry we were backed up. We'll do better next time.). Instead, he rudely told us to basically drop dead and suggested we don't come back. I wrote Rebecca and complained and never heard anything. We then got a posthumous cancelation of our reservation (I presume so we wouldn't post a review,). Needless to say, we won't be going back.
As always this is a treat occasion. Every ingredient and preparation designed to wow!rebecca herself watches over every element and is the hostess with charm and knowledge of every purveyor that supplies the kitchen. I loved every single bite!!!
This was my first time here and I have to say it did not disappoint. Everything looked amazing on the menu but we settled on the white asparagus and soft shell crabs to start and the sea bass and kobe strip steak for the main course. The service was professional and attentive and we are looking forward to our return visit to explore the rest of the menu.
My girlfriends and I wanted to celebrate our friend's Birthday with an elegant dinner. Rebeccas was the perfect choice. Not only was the service impeccable but the food was outstanding. They went over the top by writing Happy Birthday on my friends dessert course and made the evening so special for her. I highly recommend Rebeccas for amazing food and service.
