Reata Ratings and Reviews
The only downside of dining at Reata is deciding which dish to order! Everything we've eaten there has been delicious, the drinks excellent & most are uniquely theirs so you have to return time again to try them all. We wanted a relaxing, enjoyable meal and our server, Vanessa, was wonderful, accommodating, very helpful!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Reata! Our server was phenomenal. It was our first time dinning there and she was very good at informing us about the menu and items she recommends. The food WAS AMAZING. I had the Carne Asada with cheese enchiladas on top and it had my taste buds dancing all night. Every bite was so yummy. The meat was soft and the enchilada was literally the cherry on top. My boyfriend has the crusted citrus chicken and he enjoyed it so much that he's trying to figure out how to make it at home! We ate inside an area that they call "the dome" and it was nice! It was a round cover on top but you can still see the city lights thru it a little bit. The restaurant is more expensive than your average restaurant, but it's soooo worth it! It's not too expensive that we won't go back though. Thank you Reata for the wonderful Valentine's dinner!!
I had a great meal and great service. Love that they have such a variety of menu items at various prices as well. Great margarita and good recommendations from our server. We ate fairly early (530 reservation) so not crowded at all and atmosphere was comfortably quiet which made for a nice date night with my husband. We had the cobbler for dessert even though we were stuffed from dinner and were as pleased with it- next time we’ll go for the banana putting! Love going to Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth so much more enjoyable than Dallas!
Our server, Angelo, really made the experience outstanding and memorable. His service was impeccable, and he was attentive to our every need; he even recommended a port/molé reduction to go with my carne asada and enchiladas, and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a 16 ounce ribeye, which was perfectly marbled and tender. I very much recommend the crab stuffed jalapeños for a starter. As for dessert, all of them looked scrumptious, but we decided on banana pudding that was probably the best we've ever tasted. It was textured sort of between between custard and mousse, and the flavors were delicate and the sweetness not overwhelming. We will definitely be back.
We love Reata for lunch and dinner, but special lunches after 1pm are the best. You beat the crowds and still get the usual high- quality menu with a Texas flair. We chose 1:30pm reservations to avoid the Valentine's Day rushes and LOVED our nice, long, quiet meal in the heart of downtown Fort Worth before a movie at the Palace 9.
Wonderful food and ambience as always. We had a great server, but almost too great. She really checked on us a bit too often. We had a noon reservation, were seated at 1150. She checked on us like 6 times, they brought our appetizer, bread and meal almost simultaneously and we were done by 1215. We felt very rushed for our valentines day lunch. there were may tables left so I am not sure why they made us feel rushed. They even picked up our bread basket before our actual lunch arrived. Not sure it was intended, but not relaxed at all. We will be back, but probably just at dinner time.
I took my wife for our 25the anniversary. The dinner was really good but sat us next to two big round tables that were very loud. I requested my corner table that we have sat in for last 8 years. But that was not even brought up when we arrived. They just sat us next to two huge parties and it was very hard to have a conversation. Might be out last time there maybe will try Friscos or another place for our 26th. It was fun while it lasted. I just wanted a quiet time with my love. Sorry. Eddie.
