Tony, our wait staff, knew our lunch time was limited, and he met every goal to see we got back to work in time. His smile and quiet attentiveness was greatly appreciated.

We dine at Reata once every couple months. ALWAYS an excellent choice. Food is delicious, especially the jalapeño cheese grits. Not the least expensive place in town, but you know that going in.

Came with family to celebrate a birthday. Had a fabulous dinner. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were amazing! Main courses were also fantastic. Will be back!

Reata is good place to experience some unusual dishes that reflect the local flavor of Ft Worth. Elk sausage and cheese grits were our favorites

Food was cold and undercooked. Overpriced for what you get. Didn’t even take the leftovers.

This place is great for date night. I would recommend sitting on the roof if it is not too cold or sit under the dome if possible. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The hostesses were all very nice and professional. The drinks were made strong. The food was great. If you have too much to drink there are plenty of hotels downtown within a 5 minute walk. Overall, I'd come back.

Was expecting better food for the price you pay. The pork shank was over cooked dry and had no flavor. Wife had mahi-mahi and it was over cooked. This was our wedding weekend and I was expecting a better experience

Jon the waiter is fantastic, had to say that before I forgot.

Anyway first visit. After reading reviews did not know what to expect.

1. So I figured out it is a cowboy steak house. No not a bob, del, or Chris.
This place has its own taste and style, and it is great.

2. Sat on the first level roof patio. I think the trick to a patio seat is get there at 5 with a reservation. Good View nice to be outside without people walking by looking at you

3. I had char rib eye and other had chicken fried steak, with grits
All fantastic, especially the chicken fried steak.

Had bacon wrapped shrimp, comes with ranch, not sure how some cocktail sauce would do??

The biscuits were fantastic, only gripe is they were not warm.

Everything had its own flavor, which was nice

Did not try dessert, to full

Will be back for sure!!! This is a neat different flavored restaurant

Oh and did I say Jon gave fantastic service!!!

Perfect choice for a romantic night out while on our anniversary trip. Food was perfectly prepared and delicious, wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambiance is true Texas hospitality. Will definitely be back!

Really missed the pickled jalapeño on the elk sausage appetizer. The grits were luke warm at best. Had to send my steak back. We ordered it med rare, plus. It was very rare. When it came back it was almost well done. :-(

Reata was always our go-to restaurant when we drive 60+ miles .,,,sad to say, maybe it’s time to try some thing new.

Your better wines were much more expensive than other restaurants. In light of that, should I be entertaining friends or business associates who are wine lovers, I'll choose another restaurant with 30% less expensive wines.

Great Texas food. My steak was slightly overcooked, but very good, and my wife's salmon was outstanding. Atmosphere was fun, but not too noisy to talk. A great place for a special occasion.

We had reservations at 6:15 and tickets to Four Day Weekend at 7:30 (same building). We arrived early at 6:00 just to make sure we had time for dinner and we were seated upon arrival.
Our beverage order and dinner order was taken in a timely manner. Dinner took forever...manager came to our table and apologized, waiter said kitchen had issues. The two tables next to us arrived after us and left before us. Needless to say when we made it to Four Day Weekend there were not four seats available for us so we left. $100 in tickets for show went to waste. Dinner was not a good experience.

My wife and I attended for our anniversary, we got there early to enjoy the rooftop bar. Only negative thing I can say is bar staff rather short and rude. As far as the dining experience it was exceptional, from the food to the service!

The tamales were an excellent start to a wonderful lunch with my family. We tasted each other’s meals and there wasn’t a bad dish. The enchiladas were the best I’ve ever had, and the chicken fried steak was perfect. The waitstaff was professional and accommodating. Be sure and save room for dessert!

Our server was awesome but the food was mediocre. This restaurant had been recommended and I came with expectations that it would be a great dining experience. I had the fish and it was def not their specialty. I was hosting a friend from France and was sad to take him to eat at a restaurant that was under par for Dallas/Fort worth dining. Did not match the $$$

Nick was a great server. Just starting out there , but great personality and service , very knowledgeable of the menu. Food was good- my bone in ribeye was not worth the $48.00 price that is expected at top end premium steak houses as it was very fatty- more so than any premium ribeye should be.

We LOVE Reata. We happened upon it when walking around 7 years ago and it’s still one of our favorites and go-to restaurants for just about anything. The Carne Asade is my absolute favorite!

Reata is one of my husband's and mine favorite Fort Worth dinner dates! The service is always amazing and the food does not disappoint. We had the Elk Sausage with grits and the Carne Asada. The Carne Asada was tender and flavorful, the accompanied cheese enchiladas were on point, and the sausage/grits combo was balanced perfectly between sweet and savory!

I had only dined at Reata once before several years ago and recall that it was very good. Why did I wait so long for a return visit?!?!? This place is fantastic! Great menu with something for everyone. Top notch service and the food was well presented and extremely good! This may be my new favorite in a town that has lots of options. I will be back ...@and soon!!
