    We had a great experience from beginning to end! We had requested the rooftop but it was closed so we sat inside and we were happy to have the air conditioning. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful, suggesting a wine we really liked and gave us more details on a few menu items. My husband had the bison steak and I had the fish special, and they were both delicious. We highly recommend!

    Our server went above and beyond and suggested options which we went with. I even received a change of napkin (from white to black) when he realized my red lipstick would likely stain the white one. The cod and pork chops entrees were excellent, desserts were divine and decor rustic texan as expected- lots of dead animals on the walls so if not your thing there is no escape. They seemed quite dusty. The only thing that would have made it a better experience was to have valet guys staffed with umbrellas and assist the guest with an open door rather than wait on the curb while we got out in a down poor, get soaked and watch.

    Well-prepared meal, enjoyed every bite! Had the bacon-wrapped crab stuffed jalapeños for a starter, then we both had the 14 ounce rib eye. It was cooked perfectly, great char on the outside. Crème brûlée for dessert. So delicious! We will be back.

    Our server was sweet but the serve team as a whole was not good. We were celebrating and when the runner brought the desserts (and one with candle), he left them and we were without serveware and the candle wasn't lit while the ice cream melted away. Other times we were also missing serveware. Our second drinks as well as entrees and desserts were auctioned off instead of being placed at the correct spots. The food was great and we enjoyed our time, but the service aspect was noticeably lacking in comparison to frequent past visits.

    Authentic Texas for sure. The shrimp was undercooked and made our party sick. The steak was good, the soup was good, and the sides were good. The service was excellent. The only reason I’m rating lower is because of the food.

    Our last visit to Reata was before COVID and it was fantastic then. Our visit last night was OUTSTANDING and even better than before. The warm greeting at the door and host stand and great smiles and “welcome” are always a very good sign. Our server was amazing and her suggestions were right on. Elk Sausage appetizer and feature Tenderloin with Blue Cheese topping were delicious and signature. Sides were all excellent. My ice water glass was never empty which seems minor, but was important to me. We selected two desserts, Banana Pudding and Apple Tart with Ice Cream which topped off a Five Star experience. We will be back as soon as possible as Reata just excelled in every possible way!

    This is creative and welcoming place. Service was impeccable. Noise level low, but we did go early. The tenderloin tamales were to die for. There were three on the plate, so my husband and I both had one and then I had the third for my entree with a salad. Hubby had an amazing steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. He shared. Every bit was amazing. Okay, a little pricey, but what isn't these days? Go if you can!

    Great time. Showed up late per usual “waiting on a woman” and they still sat us and gave us exceptional service as always. We sat up top for a change and it was awesome. The only thing that wasn’t appealing was the sound of motorcycles you’d hear really loud echoing through the buildings. But this was at no fault of reattas.

    We dined at Reata for our Wedding Anniversary and it was perfect. Wait staff was very attentative, calamari was huge and good! My husband had the fish and although it didn't have alot of seasoning (kind of plain), everything else was amazing. We visited the roof top after dinner for drinks and it was great. We will be back to visit!

    Reata offers reliable food and very good service. Last night I had the chicken chile rellenos. It was a huge dish with two oversized chile peppers stuffed with dark and light chopped chicken meat and slathered with too much melted cheese over rice. I moved most of the melted cheese off to the side because the dish was already heavy with food and the cheese just made it heavy and gloppy. Our server, Eli, was new but well trained and efficient. He explained the specials and checked on us mid-meal. My only suggestion to the kitchen is that sometimes less is more. The meal was easily enough for two. One chile relleno would have been enough for me. Maybe next time I'll order a couple of apps.
