We went to Reata to celebrate my wife 74th birthday, it was an unforgettable evening, the food was excellent, the service was outstanding and ambient was just right.
The chicken fried steak and the grilled chicken with tomatoes were delicious! Extra gravy was provided upon request.
I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday there. Our server was excellent. I will definitely be back.
Birthday dinner
The Reata has seemed to have changed from a place of upscale dining to casual dining, unless, it is because I have not been out to dinner for a long time. I think that the food is of great quality and has a very diverse menu of wild game and domestic meats. We really enjoyed our time there Saturday night celebrating our birthdays.

We're new to the DFW metro area and found the Reata by accident a few months ago. Since then we've been back over a dozen times...no exaggeration.
Consistently the staff have been exceptional. A shout out to Hayden who was such a gracious host at the bar and come to find out a foodie like us. He had some wonderful recommendations of other eateries in the area.
1. Highly recommend the roof top weather permitting. Great atmosphere and views.
2. The cocktails are terrific.
One negative comment regarding the matre d' on one evening. We had no reservation and were told the wait would be an hour. I walked outside and made a reservation on Opentable within 5 minutes. Walking back in the matre d' was not happy and had an attitude. I wont let this one experience sway our opinion of the Reata but in the future, drop the attitude dude.
As always, Reata never disappoints. Filet was cooked to perfection and my requests for grilling my fish rather than blackening it completed to sumptuousness. The dessert was not as favorable as we remember it but it was still decent. Another fantastic date night with Reata at the head of the table.

Reata had been on our must do list for a long time, finally made it there for brunch. Our server, Angie, was outstanding and very attentive. The specialty margaritas were great choices. Our entrees included the chicken chilaquiles and the carne asada wIth cheese enchilada. We capped it off by sharing the dessert tacos. We were pleased with all our selections. Overall, this was a great outing and definitely plan to return.

We were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and came to Reata because that is where we celebrated our engagement. The food was superb. Our server, Victoria, was friendly and engaging and gave an excellent wine recommendation. No fault of the restaurant, but a nearby table was loud and made conversation a little difficult. However, an overall great experience and we would definitely return.
The service was amazing! We went for our anniversary and our first time eating out since Covid. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from Rob and the rest of the staff working. The food was fantastic and such a clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Had brunch there Valentine's Weekend. We had the Chicken Enchiladas and the Chicken Egg dish. Wished there had been a few more choices on the Brunch menu but we were also allowed to choose from the regular menu as well. Great service!
