Sophistication without pretension is the beauty of Reata. From the moment you pass through our doors, the unmistakable ambiance of Reata envelops you. Hosts and servers welcome you as if you were an old friend, inviting you to savor every moment-and every bite of your meal. And all around you, tempting aromas swirl, while wrought iron accents, rustic paintings, and cowboy accouterments gently remind you that there's a taste of the West in every gourmet creation we serve.

Anniversary. Very good service
I feel like there has been quite a bit of drop off in the food quality here at Reata. The food came out luke warm and the normally consistent Blackened Bison Ribeye was less than impressive. Also, be aware that the valet that used to be free when dining is now $23. The management tells me that it is out of their control and they are currently in a lawsuit to try and get this resolved, but until they do, we won't be back. The food is to average to add a $23 surcharge just to eat there.
Reata never disappoints us! We were there to have dinner before a concert and the food, atmosphere and service were impeccable...David provided us with many different options for cocktails, food and dessert. He was wonderful! We will be back on our next visit to downtown Fort Worth.
The tenderloin tamales were excellent. What a beautiful restaurant! The staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
We were in Ft Worth to go to the James Taylor concert. Reatas is my go to for a nice Texas dining experience when we are in FTW!
The food is excellent and the service was perfect - Texas Hospitality at it’s best - our waitress SimSim was brand new and did a great job of taking care of us. Love the cornbread and pecan biscuits a d the best redfish ever! Highly recommend Reatas if you are in FTW!
I have eaten at Reata a few times. It is an awesome atmosphere and a great place to go. It is pricey but we went there to celebrate a friend's closing on a new house. I had requested a window seat when I made the reservations because she always likes a window seat but you never know if places will be able to accommodate such requests. They did! They put us by a window so we could see out onto the street and the passersby and it was great. The food was good. The service was excellent. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Reata for making our dining experience wonderful.
Great overall. Service was a bit spotty…… had to wait quite a while for plates to be cleared, water refilled etc. food was great as always!
The dishes were perfectly cooked and the drinks were great but a little on the high side for cocktails.
The Sunday brunch was very limited. I was expecting more breakfast food.
Was one of the best brunches I’ve had. Everything cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to come again.
Perfect in every way. Sunday brunch was fantastic.
Steak was served cold. Mashed potatoes were cold. Service was so so.
Excellent place to eat. On the top end for price. Great atmosphere. Great service.
Two out of three had great meals. Mine was disappointing based on previous trips to Reata. Ordered the chef’s special. Steak was undercooked, cold, tough and chewy. Broccoli looked like winter trees with no leaves. Pesto sauce on shrimp was tasty, but cold. Wife ordered the same thing and she said hers was outstanding. I’m sure it was a fluke and will continue visiting.
Friendly, professional staff and wonderful southwest cuisine. Great Texas atmosphere.
The food and service were better than imagined! We tried bison for the first time and would highly recommend it.
Peppered Tenderloin excellent
Texas Redfish also very good
We have been here several times. Something was definitely off last night. 3of 5 didn’t finish their meal.
Spent our anniversary here and loved the food, the atmosphere, and everything.
We had a private room for our birthday dinner, it was perfect!
Not sure why this place is high on lists of where to eat in Ft Worth. Food wasn’t good at all. I ordered the chicken Chile rellenos and can’t say anything good about this item. I opted for the side of vegetables which were actually large slices, seasoned and grilled. They were quite good. Salad starter was decent. Margarita was ok, not excellent. Can’t recommend this place.
We had a reservation for a birthday and we were served immediately. Everyone was kind & very quick! They even signed a bday card for me! Everything we ate was delicious. It was our first time there and we loved it! Definitely coming back
A bit disappointed with the food. Steak were flavorless, portions were large, but the service was great.
6 month anniversary
We won’t be back. Our meal for 2 people cost well over $200 and we were rushed through the entire process even though we were in and out in less than an hour organically. We came to celebrate an occasion and it was our first time so we ordered more food than we could eat to get to try different things on the menu. The waiter was constantly trying to take the food away even though we made it clear every single time that we didn’t want that. The main courses were so cold my $53 steak literally didn’t even melt the butter pad they put on top before serving it. I had every intention of spending however much money the experience to eat here cost, but frankly there wasn’t much of an experience (at least not a good one). Save your money and go to Texas Roadhouse.
Sampler appetizer was similar to an Applebee’s, steaks looked mouthwatering, but the taste was just ok. Desserts were good and coffee cold. Maybe it was the private party upstairs but our meal was just ok
Overall experience was wonder. However it would of been helpful if they actually gave the name of the complementary parking garage and not just what two streets it crossed over (I believe it was just stated as Taylor and 4th st). We end up paying for parking.
Absolutely amazing and delicious. Our waitress was so helpful and described the dinners and desserts spot on. There The presentation, ambiance, and atmosphere
We loved sitting on the rooftop and meeting Bo! Thank you so much for the great service!
Very enjoyable evening, food was very good, service was excellent. Only criticisms of note were main course food not very hot, made worse by cold plates.
Third time and still a charm! Delicious food in a warm Texas atmosphere with cool artifacts and great service!
I took my husband here for his birthday dinner and from entering the building to leaving our experience was fabulous! When I made the reservation I made sure to say we were celebrating my husbands birthday and every employee made sure to tell him happy birthday! Jessica definitely made our experience a great one! She was so friendly, attentive, and celebratory. She even got the entire wait staff to sign a birthday card for my husband! It was also a gorgeous night to sit on the roof top! We will definitely be dinning here again in the future!
Food is very good.
Salad was very good.
Steak, green beans and asparagus was very good.
Creme Brule was like Jello instant vanilla pudding.
Service is good.
Ambiance is very barn like for fine dining.
Whoever put this restaurant on the top 5 most romantic of Fort Worth is an idiot.
Seats are hard and uncomfortable.
Will think hard about going downtown eat. Valet cost me $21 for each vehicle
$7 for every 30min max $21. Spent $154.00 on dinner and $63 parking for wife and daughter cars.
It was an amazing birthday celebration. Great food and service.
This our first visit to Ft. Worth, everyone recommended Reata’s as a place to eat SW cuisine. Did not disappoint. Food was delicious and service first rate.
Thanks for visiting, George! We look forward to many future visits. Russell Kirkpatrick General Manager
We had looked forward to trying this restaurant several times and the timing never worked out. Finally my husband and I decided our retirement was something to celebrate with an over the top restaurant and we waited no more. We were not disappointed. It was very hard to decide on what to have on Saturday and the food was so good that we came back on Sunday. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Fort Worth. This restaurant is worthy of visiting every time we are in Fort Worth!!!!
Amazing ambiance in the rooftop atrium.
We were impressed by the size and décor of this beautiful place. We were seated on the 4th floor under the dome. Our server was Brandon, he came to introduce himself at the table while 2 of the 3 of us were using the bathroom, so drinks were ordered while we waited their return. Brandon gave us an impressive run down of the menu and brought us pecan and cornbread biscuits for the table. I thought for sure we were in for an amazing dining experience, but things went slightly downhill from there.
We ordered the tenderloin tamales as an appetizer, they came within seconds (we got someone else's order). Tamales were great, something different and unique, however I asked Brandon for hot sauce twice and he never ended up brining it. When he returned, we ordered the mac and cheese for the table as another appetizer as well as our entrees. I ordered the Mahi Mahi with lobster Florentine and the 2 men I was with ordered the Swordfish special. We also ordered the goat cheese and pecan salad to share.
For such a fine dining place, the food and experience felt so rushed. All the food came out too fast. When the entrees arrived we were not finished with our tamales and the server tried to clear them from us after we said we weren't done. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection, I would've liked more lobster in my Florentine but that's my only complaint on the food.
The service by Brandon left a lot to be desired, when we told him the mac and cheese never arrived he asked if we wanted it and it didn't come out until we were done eating our entrees. We never were even offered a second drink until after they cleared our entrée plates. I requested a box for my leftovers and he tried to clear them from me instead of bring the box. We would've liked to stay, chat, drink and enjoy dessert but felt it better to go. I could tell this wasn't the experience of other diners, so I still overall gave this place a decent rating. I'd be back with a different server.
Rooftop is the best spot in the house, great food, excellent service, highly recommend!
