Very good food! We sat on the 4th floor outside patio and it was very nice - great views of fort worth
Our Waitress Taylor Was Great. She has a Great Personality and was on the Ball at all times. We will ask for her when we return. She made my Wife's Birthday Perfect. Thank You.
Enjoyed the calf fries and bacon wrapped shrimp. Shrimp were huge and tasty. We ate on the roof as repairs were being done on the main floor. The roof is a great lunching place! Also enjoyed the tenderloin salad. Absolutely sumptuous!!
We enjoyed a nice lunch celebration with friends at the rooftop dome dining area. Our waiter was very helpful with the drink specials as well as explaining any drink questions prior to order. He was very helpful to tell us about the food specials as well as how some of the dishes are prepared and served. We enjoyed our drinks, appetizers, meals and desserts. Very enjoyable!
Wonderful service! Kind enthusiastic staff! Cool restaurant!
The first time for me. My wife said to be a true Texan(even though I was born at Harris Hospital) I needed to have calf fries. They were great(maybe a bigger bowl of gravy). Our server was new to Reata, but was wonderful. We are going back for cocktails and desserts. Thank you for a wonderful Wedding Anniversary lunch.
The steak was unbelievable. The rooftop dining was so much fun. I will definitely be back!
I was disappointed in the service and the quality of the food - very different from a couple of months ago.
Overall, a let down. Neither the restaurant nor Open Table indicated when we made our reservations, that half the restaurant would be under construction. Seating was under the glass dome atop the building. When we were seated, the air conditioning ceased operating, so the temperature - under enclosed glass in full July sun - rose rapidly. They fixed it in ten minutes, but that along with poorly timed service and “good not great” food left us underwhelmed. My fried chicken though, was excellent. We are unlikely to return.
My wife and I have celebrated all of our birthdays and anniversaries at Reata since we met almost 11 years ago. Great service every single time. Definitely two thumbs up. I would highly recommend Reata to my friends and enemies!
Excellent food! Be sure to order the tamales—my favorite thing on the Reata menu!
It was really hot in the dining room. !aaaaaaaaddddddfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
The dome is so loud it is hard to have a conversation with the person at your own table.
Reata is a staple of Sundance Square and the Fort Worth food scene. I have no idea how you could not find something amazing at this location.
Great Place! Great staff! Great food! If you have a date this is an excellent choice.
Reata was a great place to visit and really embodied the unique rustic southwestern flair Ft Worth has to offer. The service and atmosphere were excellent. The food was wonderful, though, I would order something other than salmon next time. The salmon was good, but I was disappointed I didn’t branch out more.
Great food and love the ambiance! First time to eat in downstairs location and it was nice!!
We had Taylor as our server and she was awesome! We were going to a show and she made sure our dinner went smooth and efficient. Very knowledgeable and attentive
Good food, good service, and a nice wine selection makes for a very enjoyable meal. It was a little noisy at times, but the restaurant was quite busy. I love the stacked chicken enchiladas and order them almost every time.
Always a great place
Service was outstanding. Appetizers were large portions. A unique menu
I went to lunch and had a tasty salad with very attentive service.
We had good service but I was very disappointed in the food. I had the carne asada with cheese enchiladas. The meat was cooked well done and somewhat chewy. I was never asked how I wanted my beef cooked. The cheese enchiladas used what seemed highly processed cheese that was chewy. Needless to say, I ate less than a third of my plate. My wife had the grilled mahi mahi with lobster Florentine. The mahi mahi was over cooked and neither one of us enjoyed the lobster Florentine. The tenderloin tamale appetizer was the best thing we ate but the portion size was gigantic. Overall, I feel like this is a place you go to if you have been a long time patron and enjoyed the food in the past or go for happy hour. I feel there are better options in the area.
Very good Brunch
This was our second visit and service, food and atmosphere were great. We are looking forward to coming back next month. We are not even thinking about going to another restaurant in downtown Fort Worth.
9pm Dinner on a Saturday night. The rooftop dining area was packed, which is understandable. And noisy too, which is also understandable. Service was uncomfortably slow which is not understandable because Saturday night crowds should be anticipated and prepared for. Our meals were just fine - we both ordered meat entrees - but the presentation (two messy-looking plates) looked thrown together in a hurry (a hefty slob of mashed potatoes was slathered over the vegetables and meat). Overall dining experience: disappointedly uneven.
It was an awesome experience. From the valet gentlemen to front door ladies to our waitress (Denise) to the awesome food and atmosphere.
Thank you so much for taking care of us on our 30th wedding anniversary celebration night! You really made this a great experience for us. We got a great table and had a great waitress!!
The hostesses and our waitress were friendly and welcoming. Food portions were generous. Pecan coffee is 'homemade', and I recommend it. The ambience was perfect.
The food and ambiance was fabulous as always. The service was stellar and we had a fantastic time.
Marginal food for price
Bartender was not welcoming when getting a drink before dinner. The waiter was fantastic though.
They have quality cuts of meat, but some came drenched in sauce so you couldn’t hardly taste the beef. The Buffalo was done properly though.
Consistently great - we have been making at least one annual visit to Reata, and will continue this tradition. Their standards are maintained at a high level!
Impromptu meal on way home from airport
I always visit Reata when in town.
Consistently great food with an awesome rooftop dining experience.
It was a great time! The restaurant is beautiful, so that makes it a great time to begin with. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the service was very slow and the the restaurant wasn't that busy at all. The server was very nice, but very slow. It took over 5 minutes to get our drinks. Other then that, it was a great time & the food was delicious!
We've been going to Reata for years and they are consistent. Good food, great atmosphere.
We had a nice experience but I did mention in our reservation that it was our anniversary but nothing was done about it.
We went for my birthday. I believe our server's name was Anthony. He thoroughly explained the menu and provided options on the best way to enjoy our experience. We started with the bacon wrapped crab stuffed jalapenos. The main course I had the Carne Asada with enchiladas. He warned me it was a lot of food and he was right. I ate half and took the other half home. We also ordered the pork. The presentation was great.
We didn't have room for dessert but he still presented me with a birthday dessert which was nice and unexpected. The food was amazing and a great place to celebrate my birthday. Next time I plan to check out the rooftop.
