Greet staff was rude, as usual. Waiter was good, but took 50 minutes for food. The only reason I continue to eat at Real Seafood is because there was a Real Seafood where I grew up that my parents used to take me. Food is good and brings back memories, but service needs to improve!
The food and service are consistently good. It’s a nice and friendly restaurant with good seafood. I enjoy coconut shrimp and the Parmesan encrusted Dover sole, and my husband the fresh catch.
Birthday special 50%
It was our first time there. We were there for Grandpa's birthday dinner and had our 3 year old son with us. I mentioned to the hostess that if there was a more "kid appropriate" area to seat us that would be fantastic. We were led to a side room (off of the main dining room) where 4 or 5 tables of couples were enjoying their nice dinner and... you could hear a pin drop. I immediately knew that having even a well behaved 3 year old would be disruptive to the guests in that room, so before we were seated, I asked if we could wait for a table in a more appropriate area for a child. The hostess acted annoyed and said, "like where?" Again, having never been to the restaurant, I assumed she should be able to use her judgment and said, "I don't know the layout of the restaurant but even somewhere here in the main dining room which is fairly noisy would be better than in the quiet room over there. She expressed annoyance again, and sat us at the front & center table (although a large booth tucked away right there was available). We pondered just leaving, but decided to ride it out. We had spent 1/2 the afternoon looking for a nice place to enjoy a seafood dinner, so... we stayed. 1 meal was fantastic, the cole slaw was fantastic, but the 4 other meals were mediocre, at best. And the beer was served warm. After dinner, we walked around and noticed there was a nice bar area with TVs etc that we could have sat at and been able to enjoy our dinner instead of feeling like we were on display, in the way, and uncomfortable anytime our child spoke or laughed. It was an expensive dinner with a side lesson in crappy service and... we unfortunately won't ever go back.
We enjoy the earky fare menu. Smaller portions gratefully. Good deal for wonderful food.
Took the advice of trip advisor review and requested a table on the veranda... a wise choice. The noise level was high indoors but great outside. Waiter was attentive. All in our party had seafood and were pleased.
This was our second time to visit Real Seafood. We requested outdoor seating and they gave us an excellent location for visiting with a friend. The food was delicious, the bread was outstanding and he service was very good. We'll certainly make another return visit.
Nice surroundings, good food, friendly wait staff . Food service was slow in coming.
Seafood paella and sea scallops were cooked to perfection! My husband made the reservations for my birthday and with reservations, although the restaurant was very busy, our tables was waiting for us.
Nice atmosphere, great food, good service but a little pricey.
