Real Seafood Company - Ann Arbor
Food and environment was great as always. Leo, our waiter, did a fantastic job and was very attentive and had great suggestions.
The most consistently delicious seafood with stellar service in Ann Arbor. We’ve been customers for 23 years, dining here at least twice a month, enjoying every bite.
Consistently satisfying dining experience. Extensive menu. Professional service.
Service and food were good as usual. What we have come to expect from Real Sea Food Co.
The food is not up to snuff, and expensive. The server was nice, but service was very slow. In the end, it's just not worth it. Oh, and they had toilet trouble again--pretty annoying.
The food was outstanding. But very noisy and lots of traffic where we were sitting
The Shrimp Scampi, & Oysters meal were superb. The mussels were a tad bland, but still enjoyable. Best seafood I've had since my Business Conference in Boston & Vacay Cape Cod several years ago.
Always the best!
Another great experience at Real Seafood Ann Arbor. Even with a private event going on we were taken care of. Food was very fresh and came out hot and delicious.
We always go to Real Seafood Company for our birthdays, as well as their excellent Happy Hours Specials and we are never disappointed!
We eat here often. We had an especially good waiter (we always have great service, the professionalism stands out).
So excellent‼️ Great service, wonderful food. Excellent place to celebrate Mother’s Day and a Birthday.
Sea bass Shanghai bland not tasty had to use salt and pepper for flavor
It was ridiculously loud you could not have a conversation without yelling. There was gum stuck to the side the table. Our food was not cooked the way we wanted. The potatoes were raw. I was not impressed at all with the place.
Mother’s Day! Food was yum. I love their house salad and salmon and red potatoes. It’s my go to dinner there.
My dad and I both had the Sea bass, chose two prep styles . We both thought it was the best we have ever had! Justin our waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Will definitely be returning!
A little pricy overall, spent $223 for 3 people. However, service was great. Wait staff very attentive.
The location of the table was not very good, it was in a high traffic location. I though I would have a better seat with a reservation. We arrived pretty early and we were still seated quickly, that was nice.
Took my wife out for Mother’s Day to Real Seafood and as usual was not disappointed. Barb and her staff have always been top notch! Will return soon!
The restaurant staff was very professional and accommodating. They changed my reserved table to one that would allow more people to join us even though the restaurant was crowded. Our waiter, Danny, had exceptional attention to detail throughout the meal. The one thing that wasn't as fantastic as I remember is the rolls which seemed a bit dry and not very flavorful. All in all, though, a great restaurant.
Always a great meal and great service!
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner - a pre-Mother's Day celebration. The sweet & spicy calamari was phenomenal! Could've made a meal out of that. The salad and crab cake was also excellent - the stuffed flounder & scallop skewer were nothing special. Would definitely go back but order differently.
Real Seafood Company provides fresh meat and fish for its customers. Although the restaurant can be loud at times, as it is very large, the atmosphere plays into the experience. The tables tend to be close together, so if you are looking for an intimate place for a date or business meal, this may not be the place for you. I'm aware of special accommodations, however. The menu has several options, which are displayed on tablets. Although the tablets help lessen the amount of paper used and make it easier to change specials, it's a little informal. If you are spending between 50-100 USD on each person, a more personalized paper menu may be better. The restaurant matches up well with others on the block.
Always great food and service. It can be a bit loud.
Waiter started out really good explained everything assumed everything was fresh order the crab legs found out they were frozen later I’ve had better crab legs at red lobster. loud people behind us in the booth. Waiter paid more attention to them never came by and asked us at any time during our meal how it was and how we were doing.
Brought the check still never asked. I would never recommend this place to anyone
There was a huge party next to us and open tables elsewhere It would have been nice to have a quieter location. It was our Anniversary and hard to hear one another
Excellent food and excellent service as usual. Highly recommend.
Great food and service. They have been doing seafood right for decades.
We always try to come here for my birthday but this time it was not good. We waited nearly 2 hours for our food! They said the kitchen was backed up. Our waiter was very good and frustrated that we had to wait so long. He took the charge for our desserts off the bill. My husband said his salmon was burnt on bottom but he didn’t tell the waiter. We were disappointed with the whole experience - especially the wait!
Wonderful. Food was great.
Great meals with family & friends. All our food was fresh & beautifully prepared.
reliable place for fresh seafood and good service. I shared a main dish with my granddaughter and asked them to divide it in the kitchen and they were happy to do it.
Great food and atmosphere. Destroys red lobster in value.
Seafood was not that great, service was lacking. there were so many good reviews so I was a little disappointed with my meal. Lobster was over cooked and chewy. I don’t know that I would recommend this place. We had better luck going to the small hole in the wall places to get some fantastic food and service.
I brought my wife to Real Seafood to celebrate her birthday. The meal and service were excellent! The birthday discount is out of this world!
A little pricey but the food is really good and the service outstanding.
Easter dinner. Delicious!!!
Ordered a dinner ask about Brussels sprouts as a side waiter never mentioned this was not a side so he charged for an appetizer. I had shrimp and then did not even get a side because I paid 10.00 extra for the appetizer ask the waiter when I realized what had been done he was indifferent so basically I got shrimp and coleslaw as a dinner. Portions are reAlly small as well.
The same high quality over many years. Thank you to all.
I ordered hot tea. When it came it had a Gordon Food teabag. I asked the waitress if they had a better tea. She walked away without a word. My elderly aunt was with me. We were sitting in the corner booth. I have food issues and asked a lot of guestions about the food. I am allergic to butter or grease. We ordered. Never came back to check on us. Two adults and a handicap child was seated behind us. The child started rocking back and forth, kicking the lower half and pounding the back of the booth. This went on for several minutes. I called the waitress over and asked if she could speak to them. It was upsetting my Aunt. She walked right by them. I walked up to the host and told him about the problem too. He went over and mentioned it. The next moment the host brought me three meals in a bag and said they were comp. Looked at me. Said wrong table. The waitress hugged the three as they left with their free meals. She brought the dessert menu and sat it on the table and walked away. When I received my bill I wrote “nicer and more smiles would have gotten you a larger tip”. I left a very small tip which I felt was more than I should have left. I usually leave 20-25% because my daughter was a waitress. Why the host sat a child in a dark corner of the restaurant when he would have been happier near the window watching the cars go by. Second, no one said a thing to us about our experience. No sorry or anything. My Aunt threw out her lunch because it was undercooked but eat her wonderful carry out salad for dinner. I became ill on the way home on M 14 and had to pull off. There was butter in something I ate. Would you say this was an enjoyable afternoon?????
