Wonderful service. Delicious and ample menu. Location is breathtaking!
Food was very good, but restaurant was freezing which made for a very uncomfortable dining experience.
You absolutely can not beat the view. The bar was great while waiting for our table. We wanted to go to the outside bar (180)...the views out there were awesome, but it was too cold. The food was great and the service also.
Whenever we visit family in Laguna Beach we try to “brunch” at Raya. This year nine of us enjoyed the view, food, ambiance and togetherness. Looking forward to next visit whenever that occurs.
A beautiful way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Felt like we were on vacation. We will definitely do this more often.
Excellent service and flavorful food. Thank you Allison and Gustavo for taking care of us!
delicious food and amazing view
Food was ok and took a little too long to come out. Beautiful space and wonderful staff.
It was Easter evening and it seemed like everyone tired..and ready to go home. HALIBUT was good but not outstanding for $40.
Usually I order Grilled vegetable, this day there were no Eggplant. The price was Double the usual day. the same plate was 25.00 and last time was 35. the ritz card was not excepted because of Ester.
First time to have brunch - went on Easter Sunday and it was fabulous. Service, food, ambience, all were top notch. Gorgeous big windows bring the beach inside and nearly every table has a view. Had the four course meal - I felt it was a lot of food for the fixed price and we left pleasantly full and happy. Free flowing and quality champagne made it even more festive.
We went to the ritz over the weekend for brunch on Easter, but it was planned around our room check in for Genes (boyfriend) birthday, n dined at the raya, our reservations was at 12, but we didn’t check in until 12:15. My experience was pleasant until I was n needed a bathroom break. When I was making my way to the bathroom I had to walk up the steps since we were seated on the lower level close to the ocean view, got up the 3steps n walked a few steps on the hardwood floor n As I was walking making my way to through the restaurant, I immediately slipped ,slid n fell right in front of all those people. A party of 12-15 folks sitting right in front of me to my left !! After I fell to the ground, I looked up n apparently the waiter was wiping up a yogurt spill on the floor, n he screamed to me “are you ok?!” I said no but I’m going to the bathroom! I pushed my self up n I looked around me n walked as fast as I could n I was so humiliated n embarrassed. Thank god my bf didn’t not see me fall! The hardwood floor was still slippery on the area that he cleaned up even though he was moving his way towards the wall. I have a sprain ankles, bruises to my thighs since my left heel stabbed into my right thigh, n I have upper shoulder n back pains, left rib cage pain. Incident report was made . -caution sign went up after I fell at that exact spot. People were starring at me when I went back to my table. I tried to enjoy the rest of my bf birthday brunch. But I did have to tell him what happen, and I guess it explained n occurred to him why there was so many employees at the incident site. I felt like The service was different. I end going to the er last night, thank god no broken bones! But the way we were treated after the fact was less then subpar, inhumane , unimportant, they shrugged it off like nothing happened. I am very disappointed with my experience, and btw we end up leaving and not checking in.
Great staff, food and view!
We showed up and were seated for our reservation. We love this place and had high expectations for our evening. Once we ordered it took an hour to be served our starter, and another half hour to decide that we were not interested in waiting for our entrees. Hands down a lousy experience. It will be awhile before we return.
Love all the servers and I love this place ❤️ i’m regular here. the best Ritz Carlton Hotel in the world
It is great place. We were not happy with lunch menu since there were not much choice for vegetarian dishes. Th dishes served were not tasteful.
Consider to have some organic fresh vegetable and fruit slection or Indian dishes.
Kindly, send some coupons for dinner and we will try that for sure.
The setting is beautiful; The Ritz has the best location. The servers are wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed my Caesar salad and would order it again, but the halibut was lackluster.
We knew this was going to be an expensive meal, but we came for the sunset, ambiance and food. We were not disappointed.
Dinner was simply spectacular and our waiter made it even better! We have already recommended to friends. We had he hamaci and duck appetizers, caesar salad and split the salmon entre....OUTSTANDING!
View is great. Service was just ok, we just had lunch here while visiting and came for the view. Food was good and served in a reasonable amount of time.
We arrived before sunset and it was wonderful. The scenery, the food and service was exceptional. We went on a Wednesday so it wasn’t crowded. Very intimate and lovely evening.
LOVE the brunch!!!
The service for Sunday Champagne Brunch was impeccable. 3 courses with an amuse-bouche and each meal had careful attention to it. Our champagne glasses were never empty because the server was always there to refill before you could finish. He offered great suggestions, insight on the grounds/view, and was extremely accommodating. I wish I remembered his name but he made the already amazing experience that much better.
For the money, this experience was worth every cent.
Loud and cold. Our server seemed to be lost at times, nowhere in sight. Doors at the front of the hotel were left wide open as well as doors to the outdoor bar. This caused a very cold draft throughout the restaurant. Food was decent. Wine was overly priced per glass. View was amazing! Probably would not return based on this experience.
All i can say is this place was great, our server/waiter Daniel was awesome. Highly recommended.
Every time we go to eat there , we get treated like king and queen. Noor the Manager is an amazing Lady. She is always around checking on us and make sure we are happy with the service. The service is excellent. The food is to die for. I recommend Raya at Dinner or Lunch.
Raya never disappoints!!!! Great view, delicious food and always very, very good service!!!! We leave five minutes away and it is out to go place when we have friends in town or we want to treat ourselves with a delicious breakfast or lunch!!!! Definitely our favorite place in Dana Point!!!!!
It was an awesome experience. Will be back for sure.
It was my daughters 21 Birthday and we had a beautiful time! The staff was so sweet and nice ! They bought her a glass of champagne and also brought her a gift and a beautiful card! Also a delicious chocolate 🎂 We will always remember that beautiful day together and how special they made her feel❤️ We definitely will be going back next month for my birthday 🎁 Sonya our server was very sweet and so nice I hope she will be there for my Birthday ❤️
Awesome as always. Great service and food
Elizabeth was amazing. Went for my husbands birthday and it couldn’t be better!
extremely disappointed with the service normally excellent!
The place is gorgeous, the view to die for; however, we were seated at an end table next to the server's desk and it was super busy with the servers going back and forth almost bumping into us. The food was super dry (we went for dinner); it was disappointing.
Birthday dinner
Everything was amazing starting with the Valet parking attendants to the hostess, the waiter and his assistants. The food and the timing of the food was fabulous. Good Job! Thanks!
Raya does not take reservations for widow seats, even thou I requested it in the notes. Had to wait an hour after my reservation time for a window seat. Very disappointed since I let them know it was my wife's birthday (Hostess didn't care at all). Other than that had a great time.
We went for dinner. There was no view. The restaurant backs up to the well-lit lobby and the large windows were basically large mirrors due to the well-lit bookshelves around them. The service was attentive, but neither of us liked our entree's. The duck arrived cold with dried-on yellow sauce stuck to the plate. The "Black Cod" had the taste and stringy accordion-like texture of sea bass. Our waitress seemed more interested in defending the entree's than apologizing for their inadequacies. We were not interested in her opinion; she was not paying our bill! The on site manager was nice and offered to pick up our check, but we insisted on paying for the items we consumed. Without the entree's we still spent well over $100 for 2. Most seasoned managers would've insisted on taking care of the bill anyway, but they did not. Overall, we were very disappointed and felt this restaurant was just not up to Ritz-Carlton standards! Bad experience.
Loved the view from 180blu!!! And the service was great!
RAYA is one of my favorite places. The view can't be beat and the food is amazing. Service is always on point.
Amazing view, excellent food and great service.
