The host and the food were excellent! Went there for lunch with my boyfriend. The view was excellent and it was quiet. There was not a bad thing on the menu. The only problem was our server, Ryan, was inattentive and constantly going to the back room. We were not checked on once we got our food even tho other tables -all 5 of them- were serviced. We sat for close to 30 minutes before he asked us if we wanted our drinks refreshed (we did) after the food came. We were not asked if we wanted more food or dessert. It took just as long to get the check. So like other reviews here- the food was excellent as is the cleanliness and ambiance of the restaurant. The service is incredibly sub-par- especially for the price.

The view from the restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. Anywhere you sat in the restaurant, you still got the best view of the ocean. The service was great. Everything our waiter recommended on the menu was did not disappoint.

food is really no good. The first course I ordered Avocado toast, the bread is really hard. The second course I ordered egg Benedict. The egg is like well done and bacon with no taste. The dessert is way too sweet and we didn’t finish them.

The attitude of the service representative is very ugly. This is something I have never encountered before. The service staff will come directly to take away your wine glass and directly seal the red wine you ordered. The reason is that everyone knows now It's crazy in California. My wallet was stolen as well as my travel documents. I tried to show them a picture of me and they didn't accept it. Do I look that young? I would compromise on my responsibility. Enjoying the wine, I finally couldn't hold it back and raised my glass and took a sip. The staff was very rude and came to take the glass away and said "YOU CANNOT DRINK, so ugly" in a very violent manner!!!

Mary did an excellent job of recommending dishes. She was around when needed and not a constant interrupter.the food was outstanding. The Prime NY strip, branzino, scallops, oysters, Brussels sprouts, Caesar salad, cream brûlée, churros and cheesecake were all fantastic. Well done Raya!

Flavorful meals with professional service. The smoked swordfish appetizer is phenomenal and the churros desert is top notch. Great views of the Pacific from virtually every table, though some are a little too close to lobby traffic. Prices are very high but not surprising given the Ritz location. Note the asterisk next to some wines as it means limited availability and likely no availability.

Had such a wonderful experience dining here with my beautiful wife during our anniversary stay. The food was absolutely stellar- probably the best salmon we’ve ever had. The staff was fantastic and really they are so customer oriented and you can tell they all take pride in their work! Highly recommend, and we will definitely be returning!! Thank you Raya!!

We had a really disappointing experience last night. The service we received was not what we expected from an establishment at the Ritz and the food was also really disappointing. Out of the four dishes we ordered, only one of them was cooked properly. Not to mention, we had to wait about 30 minutes in between courses. It was just a really bad meal. I rarely provide negative feedback, but this experience deserved the mention. The views were incredibly. The rest of our experience was incredibly disappointing. Would not go back.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner at Raya. Our server, Mary, was exquisite - professional, helpful, and attentive. Our table was next to a window facing the ocean and the sunset was remarkable! Our food was top notch with creative sauces, presentation, and high quality sourcing. My fiancé and I highly recommend Raya for a romantic evening meal!
